Adorable place to grab lunch and enjoy some yummy sweets and coffee. The place has plenty of tables so great for taking a break from the wine tour with your friends. I had the chicken salad sandwich and it was fantastic. The hubby had the ham and Swiss. We also enjoyed the brownies, which are a very rich fudgy brownie. The cookies were also very good. I enjoyed a very tasty mocha, while the hubby got his espresso fix. This is a must stop place for a healthy lunch on the wine trail.

I loved this place! Everyone was friendly, there were some other fun customers inside, and such cute, funny items to buy. One one side, there are yummy sandwiches and snacks, while the other side is for alcohol. We even got jello shots here! Just such a pretty shop to come back to, and it was peaceful. Not a bad stopping place inbetween all the other wineries.

This place was amazing! I'm a big coffee person, and the coffee here was amazing! Came here every morning that I stayed in Fredericksburg. For Sunday, we got brunch and the tacos were huge and at a great price! Loved how sweet the ladies were!!! Definitely will be coming back to this place when I come back to Fredericksburg. They have wine, Jell-O shots, coffee, beer, a great patio! For food they have baked goodies and sandwiches. Thanks for a great experience!

With so few places to eat along 290, this place is a great option. It has been added to the 290 Wine Shuttle route which is why we hopped off there on a Saturday around 2 pm. It offers just a handful of sandwich, soup and salad options, along with wine, beer, coffee and tea. Our chicken salad sandwiches were delicious. We bought a few of the wine/Jell-O shots. The country musician was enjoyable to listen to and fun to interact with. The shop inside had fun trinkets, toys and kitchen items. I ordered a "flight" of red wine which included 3 small-ish pours for $15... reasonable and tasty.

We stopped to buy a couple bottles of rosé as gifts, but we quickly learned this place is everything except a winery. They have breakfast (owner's daughter is a pastry chef), coffee shop, lunch, jello shots, frozen wine-a-ritas, bottled beer, beer on tap, and a gift shop. They had a small band out back on the patio. It's a laid back and classy place, but you don't have to stick your pinky out when you take a sip. Truly a fun one-stop-shop.

Stopped in on a Saturday afternoon after visiting a winery and just loved the vibe. They've got a small menu of homemade sandwiches and pastries and whatnot, all which were so delicious. I ordered the turkey avocado (comes with tomatoes, sprouts, olive oil aioli one homemade bread. Just so yum! My friends ordered the chicken salad sandwich and the ham & Swiss, both were great. We got some snickerdoodle cookies that I inhaled because they were great. There's also a bar where they do wine and beer flights, wine margaritas, Jell-O shots! Highly recommend if you're in the area and need a quick bite.

I tried several different options and relaxed on the patio. The band playing was setting a fun, funky vibe, and the crowd was getting down. This place proves you can have classy and a bit wild at the same time. I loved the little lounge areas with vintage chairs and beautiful decor. Word of mouth gets around fast, and I see why my neighbor keeps inviting me to this spot. She has good taste and knows where to go drama free. This is a great spot for females to feel safe to go solo or bring your crew. The surrounding customers and staff were friendly and fun. I will return soon and try out some other options.

One thing that makes this restaurant unique is that there are actually cabins situated directly across from the restaurant that you can rent out and stay in known as the Cotton Gin Village. We were seated in one of the upstairs dining rooms with lots of wine on display. One draw about this place is their incredible selection of Texas wines. They also feature some Texas beers and great signature cocktails, even wine flights. We started with Ron YatesCabernet and a martini. They do offer several of the Texas wines by the glass, nothing from CA. There's only a choice of 10 entrées on the menu and 8 appetizers all of which are enticing. They do give you a sample of their carrot soup, but no complementary bread. I decided on the chicken fried ribeye and paired it with the Reddy cab. My wife had the grilled pork tenderloin medallions. The chicken fried ribeye was very tender with plenty of lobster chunks on top and no gristle whatsoever. The pork medallions were equally as delicious and the 3 cheese grits were a perfect pairing. We cleaned our plates and had no room for dessert. We enjoyed every bite and Kyle our waiter was exceptional as our server. We look forward to returning and trying something new off the menu. Perfect place for great food and well-made Texas wine. Informative photos and video included.

This was my wife's birthday and we reserved a table for 6:30 pm which worked out perfectly after a long day of wine tasting. The atmosphere was exactly as we had experienced last time, but this time we sat inside the restaurant instead of outside. It was pleasant, not noisy, and had a very nice semi-formal dinner vibe. Our server (Edie) was very gracious and friendly. She quickly sat us and filled water glasses, brought menus and let us know that there were no specials (my thought was "after all this was a Wednesday night ;0)") There was a very nice card at our table wishing my wife a happy birthday, and Edie brought us a complimentary small serving of a very delicious soup (Roasted Carrot & Ancho); nice touch! I ordered a Hill Country Martini, which was delicious (ice cold with jalapeno-stuffed olives). They do have a date night special offering on the menu, but that would have been too much for us. We decided to each order a salad (I had the Steak Knife Wedge and my wife had the Tejas Ranch Caesar). We wanted to split the 14-ounce ribeye as we had a fairly decent lunch during our wine tour. The salads were large and full of great stuff! The wedge was loaded with chunks of blue cheese and bacon over ice cold lettuce. My wife's Caesar was delicious, and the dressing was perfect. Our steak was cooked to perfection (medium-rare) and served with mixed grilled veggies that were amazing. The steak was perfectly flavored, with amazing char, and mated perfectly with my martini. For dessert, we were provided a free piece of delicious cheesecake (birthday celebration for my wife) and it was very, very good! Overall, this was a much better experience than we had in 2023 and we will most certainly be back for more! Ambiance - 10/10 Service - 10/10 Food - 10/10 Value - 10/10
