Not wanting to go for the traditional wedding cake route, we opted for a personal cookie wedding cake & a dessert bar for our guests for our wedding. The whole process from inquiring all the way to pick-up was sooo easy. I worked directly with Christina who is also the owner, she is super sweet & very accommodating. I ordered a 4-layered 6-inch heart cookie cake with the brown sugar frosting and that brown sugar frosting was BOMB DOTCOM! So yums! The cookies were soft (which I love) but she let me know if I want them to be cooked more for a crispier cookie, she can definitely make that happen. FYI --- To place an order, you have to leave a cash deposit & you can pay the rest on a card. Overall, we loved our cookie cake & if I am being honest, after cutting into it at our wedding - I had our coordinator pack it up so we could take it home. Just too good to share. lol. Oh! When I went in to put down my deposit, I also bought this S'more-cookie-sandwich and OMG - I would order 10 just for me. If you see this cookie sandwich, try it - you won't regret it!

I came into SweetArts to inquire about a personalized cake for my cousin's birthday. The owner, Christina always does a phenomenal job at an amazing price!! Before I left, I shared with the front of house staff member who was working that day that it was my daughter's first day of school & she had such a great day! She kindly gifted us a cupcake to celebrate her having an amazing 1st day of Preschool! My daughter was SO excited, as was I. Thank you soooo incredibly much for your kindness. What an amazing locally owned gem! Not only do they have a wide variety of tasty treats, their offerings often include some keto versions! Everything we've tried here has tasted amazing and we love all the cute designs on the cupcakes! This is definitely a place to stop by and pick up a sweet treat! Eat there or take togo! They also have ice cream available!

Creative and yum creations. The baker has been making our cakes for over three years. They execute fun looks that get the kids excited every time. So happy to have them as part of our memories!

This is an amazing local business in Tracy! I've been here before to get their cupcakes. They are so yummy, and come in variety of flavors. The most recent order of cupcakes I got were red velvet, lemon, and strawberry. All very delicious, moist, and not too sweet. They also have other baked goods like lemon bars, but I always go back to the cupcakes I recently ordered a cake, and the ordering process was smooth. I've never ordered a cake before, so I didn't know what to expect. I requested a quote from their website, and I received a reply within a day. After going over prices, flavors, and size, I booked an appointment with their designer later in the week. It was suggested in an e-mail that I could do a peach-flavored cake. When I met with the designer, she said they actually don't have that flavor. I told her I wanted citrus and tart flavors, so we went with a lemon cake with a cherry cream filling. I asked for a succulent design, and she said she has just done one and unfortunately forgot to take a picture! She googled some designs so she could show me what she can do, and we went with a color scheme. As you can see from the pics, she did an amazing job! Every time someone passed by to look at it, I'd comment on how awesome the succulents look. And it was a hefty cake! My aunt asked if we could carry it so the birthday person can blow the candles. I said no, because it was so heavy that I didn't want to risk dropping it, even if 2 people were carrying it. The lemon flavors really shown through the cake, and the cherry creme wasn't too sweet. SweetArts has been around for awhile, and an amazing addition to the downtown area. Definitely check them out!

My family is moving to Tracy soon so what better way to get familiar with the area than to try one of the highest rated bakeries?! We didn't get cupcakes, but they did look pristine and delicious! We ended up getting a lemon bar, a cherry cobbler bar and a banana cream pie bar. The lemon bar- flavoring was perfect! Portion size was a bit large for me and I had to have it in two sittings. The cherry cobbler bar- overall the flavoring was great. The cherry mixture did taste a little jello-ish to me though. The Banana Cream Bar- The bottom tasted a bit underdone and soggy but it had good banana flavor. The front has good curb appeal but there wasn't much inside that felt like it was inviting us to stay. Another thing we noticed was that all of their cupcakes were labeled but not their other goods. We had to ask a few different times what things were or what flavors were in certain items. What we thought was awesome was that they had a few different keto treats. We absolutely plan to be back to try those items. Overall, we had a great experience and could see ourself coming here more often once we move.

I was looking for a place to order my daughters 3rd birthday cake and cupcakes and SweetArts did amazingly. They were very communicative and accommodating especially when I changed the original 5 in cake to a 2 tier cake(7in and 5in). I believe it was vanilla with banana cream and banana cupcakes with cream cheese frosting. My guests loved them and they followed the design well. The flowers on the cupcakes had fallen off a bit, but I fixed them when I got home. I would definitely order from them again :)

***Keto Review*** I've seen this place a million times and have always kept going. Why? Because the struggle is real- I knew if I walked in here I'd instantly gain 20lbs. I met a friend downtown today, and we strolled through the farmers market. Afterward, she wanted to grab some of their Lavender Macaroons for some family in town. Low and behold... they had keto treats. Guess who's on keto? Me. So, I felt obliged to grab a few and give them a try. Keto chocolate chip cookie- made with almond flour. Review: It was okay, but Nothing like a normal one. It didn't quite do it for me. (Not SweetArts fault, but more my opinion on the texture and flavor almond flour gives.) Keto Lemon Bar- pretty large portion. I can easily cut into 4ths and be satisfied. Great flavor, texture, well cooked. Definitely a win. Keto Cookie truffle- a Keto Cookie ball (possibly prepares different) dipped in chocolate, and topped with some pretty, glittery, gold. This was probably my favorite treat because I'm a chocolate lover. The 3 items cost me just over $7.00. Not bad for the occasional indulgence. I only wish that they had the nutrition facts posted or available, because saying something is "keto" is pretty vague. I count my Macros typically, so it's important for me to know what I'm eating. If I had this info, I would probably stop in more regularly. Ps- I will update with a photo of my treats soon!

Our wedding cake was simple yet elegant. It took us awhile to choose which flavor we wanted because while cake tasting there were just too many delicious option to have. The price was fair and honestly really glad we didn't have to spend a fortune for our cake because everything else for weddings are expensive. Our cake was a beautiful 2 tier, very moist and flavorful. We had the raspberry cake with lemon mousse filling. For the half sheet we ordered was chocolate cake with raspberry mousse filling. Really glad the bakery is in our hometown that we can always order our cake for our anniversary or if we just miss it. They decorated it with fake flowers and cake topper I had bought, and the staff were very nice and helpful with all my questions. Highly recommend them for cakes and desserts. read more

Sweet Arts just did our gender reveal cake and they did an amazing job! I gave them a few Pinterest photos to represent the general look I wanted and then gave them creative license to make it beautiful, and they did just that. They had great communication with me throughout the designing process and were so patient and nice when I was a little paranoid that they would accidentally spill the beans to me about the color in the middle (which they did not, of course)! Great hometown bakery, really great desserts and cakes. Also one of the best bakeries for people on Keto. They were really busy today during the ornament stroll but still offered great customer service. I think it was the owners son that helped us and he kindly put all the different keto bars ( lemon/ blueberry cheesecake/ crème brûlée) in separate boxes even though I told him he could do whatever was easier from him, it's little things like that, that make this bakery a family favorite. read more

Love this shop! I try to stop in any time I'm in the area since I don't live in Tracy. The first time I went was not long after they opened and were doing paint nights, it was so much fun. I wish they still had them. I've taken my daughter to get cupcakes and ice cream in the past as well as keto friendly treats and we've even gotten the boozy cupcakes before. Let me just say WOW. I had ordered a ghost busters themed cake for my sons 8th birthday, and these ladies DID NOT disappoint. My friend had this cake ordered for my daughter's birthday on Monday...super cute. The problem was that they got the cakes mixed up. The cake flavor my friend ordered for her son was the cake I received and vice versa. You would think it's not a big deal but our kids are picky so it was a bummer when I cut the cake open and it was vanilla with Oreo cookie mousse. The cake was moist and the frosting was perfect. This business deserves well over 5 stars. The people who work at this bakery put their heart and soul into their work. They are there because they want to be! They will make your wildest ideas come true and are always up for new challenges. With that said please disregard all bad reviews because MOST of them are customers who walk in last minute and expect to get exactly what they ask for. Because Sweetarts is very successful this means they are booked up for 4 or more weeks at a time. Small businesses do not have the space to accommodate unlimited orders. This is not Safeway! Don't be afraid to ask if your order can be squeezed in because the owner will try her best to do so if possible, but do not be upset and leave bad reviews if she cannot. Instead CONGRATULATE her. Be thankful your local bakery is doing so well especially while going through a pandemic that so many small businesses could not survive! I'm tired of the negativity on this page, this bakery is amazing! Don't drag your feet, order ahead of time for custom orders, it's worth it! read more

Ran into SweetArts as I was coming around the corner, never heard of it. My new favorite sweet shop! BLUE BUBBLE GUM ICE CREAM! 5 stars, hands down my favorite ice cream. It was fabulous! Friendly staff, answered all my questions and gave great recommendations. I brought home a 6 pack of cupcakes, all of them were excellent. The frosting is heavenly, and plentiful. Each cupcake had a unique flavor and it's hard to chose my favorite. We also came home with cookies and cream macaroons, haven't tried those yet. Cupcakes I brought home: twix, 2 chocolate chip cookie, red velvet, strawberry and vanilla. Stop by, you will not be disappointed! read more

Yup... still delicious. Made a quick stop while pushing thru town soccer we no longer live in the area. Got 3 macarons (butterfinger, fruity pebbles, and a 3rd that mmt daughter snatched up before i could taste it lol), banana sundae cupcake, lemon tart, 2 chocolate chip cookies, and a snicker doodle cookie. All were delish except the snicker doodle. Taste wise, very good. Texture was rough. Color was hard like it had sat for a while. That would be the only complaint. Must go place if you're ever going thru town. read more

My usual cake spot was currently closed due to the pandemic. So I was in search for another bakery who could make my sister her birthday cake and I'm so happy that I found SweetArts. We had our wedding cake made by this wonderful bakery and we couldn't be happier with the out come! When I had arranged our cake testing appointment the groom was stuck at work and couldn't make it so Christina made sure she packaged uf up for me, labeled & all to make sure it got back to the groom! New to Tracy wasn't sure what bakery to go with for my daughter's bday. I came across SweetArts on Yelp, and I am glad I did! I'm not going to lie I was hesitant to place my order give there weren't many intricate dessert options but oh my gosh, so delicious. We ordered vanilla mouse with vanilla cream and fresh strawberries. The cake was so moist and light, just enough sweetness but also refreshing. The decor of the cake was just what I asked for. So far this place is pretty good. I was actually at the acupuncture place a couple of doors down and saw a dessert sign. I hadn't found a good cupcake place in a while. I came near their closing time, but I found a lot of treats to taste so that made me happy. I went for the Dulce de Leche cupcake, Red Velvet cupcake, the Oreo cupcake, and a few Green Tea Macaroons. The cupcakes were priced decently. All of the cupcakes were nice and fluffy, not dry and not overly moist. I thought each one sticked to it's own taste without overdoing anything. I'm really glad I saw this place and I can't wait to try some more of their yummy treats! The staff were really nice and helpful as well! read more

Really disappointed! This was my third visit after the first two visits I fell in love with their lemon bars. Brought my sister with me to share the experience never again. I as usual ordered a lemon bar, lemon cupcake and the s'mores cookie. The s'mores was as usual sweet and good, the lemon cupcake was very bland no flavor at all the worse was the lemon bar. It was burnt, instead of the usual light yellow appearance it was a brown in color, my fault for not paying attention when I ordered and just let the sales gal put everything in bag while I was talking to my sister. It wasn't until I got home and noticed this burnt thing in the bag, at home this would have found it's way into the trash can I was shocked that at a bakery they would let this even in their case to sell. I bit into it and yuck that burnt sugar flavor was the only flavor I could taste. Like I said very disappointed and shocked that anyone with such a good Reputation would allow something like this to happen and be ok with selling burnt product...just saying not ok read more

Really not good. Bought four cupcakes and a lemon bar. Tried them out with my mom and the cupcakes tasted like a cheap box mix. Actually, I've had better box mixed cupcakes at home. And the lemon bar had a weird chemical taste to it. Threw all the rest away. Don't waste your money. read more

First impression is everything, and this bakery disappoints to the fullest. I wrote a review but don't know exactly where it went. I wanted to edit and put that first impressions are everything but to the point very disappointed with the customer service!! New to Tracy and everyone seems so nice everywhere we go. I wonder if this lady just seemed to be a bit judge-mental. I'm not sure but I probably won't recommend SweetArts to any friends or family. I wanted a nice cake for my birthday but quite honestly, attitude is just not the way to go. Even though the cakes are good and pretty I'll go elsewhere because of this horrible customer service. Beautiful yet delicious cupcakes! The owner is constantly trying new kinds of cupcakes and sharing the wealth with all of us. I have not had a bad one yet! They are all fantastic! We came in today and ended up purchasing 7 different flavors and notched two custom cakes she had made. I tok pictures to share with everyone. They are closed Sunday's and Mondays, currently, but when you get an opportunity, go in and try one of these cupcakes, you will be back for more. On a side note, they sometimes do cookies and fudge!!!!! I think I'm going to suggest fancy Carmel apples!!! read more

I don't post reviews much (good or bad) but I have had such an amazing experience with this local business that I felt compelled to. As a passionate customer service professional who deals with the public daily I am giving this bakery big 5 stars for excellent service, the yummiest treats in town, and creative passion. As I was posting this review I noticed a previous post regarding customer service. I personally appreciate the honesty of the owner/staff that they had reached their limit. They are a small business so I think it's understandable and honorable that they know their limits. I was looking for a last minute cake for my brothers birthday and he's all about his "money". I had found a creative money cake online line and sent it in to SweetArts via email (after hours)to ask if they can do the cake. I was very pleased to have gotten a response the following day (first thing in morning)with good news that they were able to take care of me for a cake I needed by the ending of the week. The communication was awesome and the staff was very friendly to me & when I went to pick up the cake it was everything I had hope for. I am visiting from Oxnard CA and my niece had told me that there is a good dessert place here at Tracy that they bake the best waffle cake and yes she is definitely right!!! It was fresh and fluffy! On top of that they are suppose to be close today but we called and they said they can make it for us! Great dessert and customer service!!! read more

Established in 2008.

When my son was born in 2008, my husband made a suggestion that his mom could made his birthday cakes like she did for him when he was growing up. Not that I didn't want her to make birthday cakes, but that's a tradition I wanted to start so our kids would have the same special memories. The first cake was a bulldozer and it was awesome; exceeded mine, and everyone else's expectations! This was the start of SweetArts. I realized that I not only have the passion for baking, but that my natural artistic talent could be applied in creating some pretty amazing cakes and cupcakes that I decorate using methods such as sculpting, hand-painting, and creating sugar figures. I am able to create things that I would never otherwise be able to afford and because of that, I work with my customer's budgets to create something almost as special as the person it's for. If you're looking for custom cakes, cupcakes, or other desserts, then SweetArts is your resource! I look forward to working with you

I've always had a passion for baking and creating my own recipes which have evolved over the years. I believe that not only should it look good, but more importantly, it needs to TASTE GOOD! I also have a passion for celebrations; I am truly honored when someone picks me to make a cake for their special occasion. It's not just a cake, it's a memory! When I make a cake for a 1st birthday, wedding, or other major celebration, the realization that in years from now these cakes will be seen in photo albums - I am part of that memory and it's something I'm truly lucky to be a part of. Everything that leaves my kitchen has been created with appreciation. This is what inspires me to make amazing creations, and I thank everyone that gives me the privilege to make them.

It's all in the name - Taste of Texas Barbecue puts the flavor and quality where its name is. I was pleasantly surprised when I unwrapped the brisket and pulled pork on my 3-meat plate and found that everything was moist and smoked just right. At first, I was taken aback that the meats were wrapped in paper and rather luke/room-temp warm. Then I thought that is very smart to keep the steam created in the take-out container from overcooking the meat during delivery (similar to when I use butcher paper to complete my smoking process to keep the flavor and moisture). Having Texas roots, I am very persnickety about brisket in particular. I usually have to have a flat shipped to me when I have the time smoke my own to get that amazing Texas bark. One of the markers of great Texas-style brisket done right is that it has the trifecta - (1) perfect layer of bark, (2) tender/moist, and (3) the smoke flavor comes through so you don't need sauce except to complement the flavor. TTB has taken this Texas girl on a flavor journey back to Dallas!!! For the sides, I chose potato salad and coleslaw, but potato salad is not an option anymore, but is still listed on DoorDash. TTB gave me a call when they received my order to let me know and listed other options - I chose the Mac. I loved the coleslaw. The Mac was good, but I would have liked it more if it arrived hot, so it may have been creamier. The barbecue sauce is perfect - not overly sweet - a great compliment to the brisket. The only thing I added was sliced onions that I marinate in fresh lemon juice. It complements the flavor of the brisket and bbq sauce. I have gone into SweetArts a number times over the years and absolutely love the amazing aroma of fresh baked goodies every time I am there. I swear they should make a candle of it! This last time I went in looking for some treats for our office staff and everything looked so good I had to get a little bit of everything (4 different cupcakes & 4 different bars). The service was great and they took the time to answer all my questions and provided great details of each goodie. The entire office loved every single bite and had nothing but great things to say about each item. I see other negative reviews and most seem related to scheduling issues... so please understand that this is a small boutique establishment and you can't just walk in a get a custom cake on the spot. If you are looking for something like that be sure to book it well in advance and I promise you will be more than satisfied with the outcome. read more
