If it was possible I would give them 0 stars. I spoke to the owner for months about what I wanted for my son's 3rd birthday party cake and cupcakes. It was quite pricey, but for the extent we spoke about how detailed and elaborate the cake and cupcakes would be I was ok with that. We discussed the design for the cake and the cupcakes, and I hand delivered personalized toppers I bought for both the cake and cupcakes with my son's photo on a spiderman for each cupcake topper. I also paid a hefty amount for the delivery to the kids play place so that everything can show up ready to go! To say what was delivered was a huge disappointment is an understatement. The cake was absolutely nothing like we discussed. We discussed a detailed cake with my son's name, age, Spider-Man city with buildings and lots of decor around the Cake and then the top to be a Spider-Man web. None of this was done. The cake was literally red with a couple squiggly lines as spiderwebs. I could have got a better cake from Safeway for 1/8 of the price. Even worse than that, the cupcakes did not have the personalized toppers with my son's picture on each one that I had bought and delivered to the Cake owners home the week before. I bought those on Etsy and they were very expensive and was the whole point of ordering cupcakes through them was so that they could arrive ready to go since I didn't have time to place the cupcake toppers on during the hectic party that I was hosting. Not only were the cupcake toppers not on the cupcakes, but they didn't even bring them and acted like they had no idea what I was talking about. After the party was said undone and I didn't get anything that was discussed and just lost money on things I purchased that they never included on my cupcakes, I proceeded with trying to get a partial refund, at the very least to get the cost of what I paid for the personalized cupcake toppers back as a refund since they didn't even bring them. They not only refused to give me any kind of refund, but stopped responding to me completely. As a small business owner, this was very upsetting and I am not the type of person to write a bad review, but this was the worst part of my son's birthday party. I put so much work into everything and trusted somebody to do what they said they would do and that was not done. I am shocked that they did not honor the mistakes and give a partial refund. I would highly highly advise others to not go with this Bakery for anything, especially important events. They promised all of these things that they did not deliver and then were ignoring my attempts to make it fair afterwards. Very bad business. read more

My birthday is December 26 so In 2023 I wanted an almond extract flavored cake (wedding cake) which is real popular in Louisiana where I am from. I reached out to Shaher at 66Strawberries who lives in my community and she said they don't do it either but she will give it a try for me. She made me a couple of sample cupcakes to try and they were delicious! I only asked for a more moistness. So she baked me a small cake for my 49th birthday in Dec 2023 and it was so tasty! I like my cake super moist so for my big 50th birthday party in Dec 2024, I asked for a 3-layer cake much like a wedding cake & as moist as she could get it. Shaher again baked a sample cupcake for me to come over to try and it was absolutely delicious and moister than I expected . We picked up my birthday cake on the day of my party and it was the most beautiful cake I had ever seen in my life! I gave her photos in the beginning and she put the photos together to produce the vision that I had in mind for my birthday cake. I had never had a birthday party before in 50 years! so this was my first one and it was very special to me. This cake really took it over the top!! Normally I would not want to pay for such a costly cake, but it was sooo worth it! I think I ate almost half of it by myself! Thank you Shaher, I apologize for the late delayed review.
