    Coconut gelato

We walked around town and stopped to get gelato. My friend also go chocolate to take home. I got coconut gelato. It was good. It tasted like coconut and it has coconut flake. It is creamy.

Can I just say how much I love this place please? We came back here twice on our 2.5 day stay on Whidbey Island, that's how much we loved it. It's in a cute little area, that was only a 2 minute walk from where we were staying. It's a very warm and inviting place honestly. They have good Covid protocols in place. The door is automatic, so you don't even have to touch the handle. There is hand sanitizer ready for you right outside the door and right inside the door. There are barriers as well around the cashier and front area. AND they also allowed dogs, which our corgi loved. They have a lot of good stuff. It was honestly hard making a decision on what to get. We got 2 blocks (the smaller ones) of fudge, one dark with walnuts for me, and one penuche for my husband. We also got a chocolate covered smores and a jar of strawberry jam. That fudge is FANTASTIC. I'm not big on fudge, but I could not stop eating it. My husband ate all of his penuche fudge. The smores was delicious, and I finished that in one sitting. Whoops. We ended up going back the next day and getting bigger slabs of fudge. My husband got more penuche fudge as well as vanilla. I got more dark chocolate fudge. We also ended up getting a jar of peach jam, a loganberry truffle, and a peanut butter cup. I loved the vanilla fudge. It had really good flavor. The loganberry was an interesting berry which I don't think I love, but that was on me, as I wasn't sure what loganberry tasted like. Everyone here was SUPER friendly as well. They were friendly and super helpful. They also had gelato, although it was a little too cold for us to want to get some. Sweet Mona's had the most amazing fudge and chocolate. I can't wait to come back here to get more, seriously though, that fudge is addictive.

Cute candy shop specializing in chocolates right in downtown Langley. The store is fun and inviting and you can't help but check it out. We got some of the pre-packaged chocolates and at first I thought they were made there, but I think they are bought in bulk and placed in the bags. Slightly over priced (about 6.50 a bag), but it is expected for location. The workers were nice. Definitely worth a stop if you are in the area and want a treat!

Sweet Mona's is a fun find in the heart of Langley, great for all ages! It's located in a cheery, bright yellow building and has a plethora of chocolate (and caramel) treats to choose from. The standout for me is the milk chocolate mocha, which might be the best mocha I've ever had! The only downside is the prices. Although there's a few affordable/reasonable options, most bags and boxes of treats cost a pretty penny. Still, worth it to support this lovely small business!

A sweet savory shop tucked right in the town of Langley. There are lots of chocolates, ice cream and coffee/tea options. Grabbed their vanilla latte- it was not that great, the espresso got burnt a bit. Giving 4 stars for their good service, cute ambience and chocolates. We sat outside the store and had so much fun- lots of sitting area outside, it's like a small colorful European street in Langley! Definitely a must see place!

A beautiful array of delectable treats greet you as you enter the brightly colored stored. We were greeted by a very helpful gal who helped us make selections for the holidays. Unfortunately, as we have been working our way through the beautifully arranged box, during the holiday, we all found the tastes are not as good as what you would hope. We were sadly disappointed. Great potential, but not quite there.

I work part-time at a candy store in Issaquah so I'm always interested in going to a local candy shop. I can see the a lot of hard work goes into these candies. Beautiful presentation on so many of them and candy making is on the premises as I saw a small enrober and a kettle. I bought a margarita truffle, a hazelnut truffle and a dark chocolate covered in layman's terms turtle. Although I thought the margarita truffle was just okay in flavor. I drink Margaritas just about every day, and I could not taste any Margarita flavor whatsoever. The hazelnut was just the opposite and had a nice toasty flavor. The dark chocolate-covered turtle was good, albeit the caramel was pretty stiff and I felt could have used more pecans. Even a touch a sea salt on top I think would be a great addition.

Chocolates were not good. We tried four different ones. They were also not friendly, and it was $10 for 4 chocolates. Cannot recommend.

Stopped by for some gelato the flavor was good but the portion was really small. For the price, it's not worth the amount they serve.

Put your name on the list and then wander a bit, you can work up an appetite. We had a lovely meal. I had the northwest scramble, and it was full of tasty bites of salmon and mama lil's peppers. Husband had the Reuben and was unable to finish it as it was a fairly large portion. The staff is some of the sweetest I've experienced. They were kind and friendly throughout our experience, even though some patrons were less than nice about the wait times. Well worth the wait!

Theres plenty to see so it didn't feel like a long wait. Husband got the breakfast burrito. He said it was really good, only con was that the salsa that came with it was like an ice slushy which would have preferred not cold. I got the salmon hash which I thought was one of the best hashes I've tried. The eggs and potatoes were seasoned and cooked perfectly and there was a lot of salmon - good ratio of everything. Only other con was that after we got seated we waited 30 mins to get our food. But service was really good and we could tell the cooks were busy with other tickets. Overall we really enjoyed our meal and would definitely come back if we're on Whidbey again!

Service was attentive and friendly as usual. We were quickly seated for our reservations. The tartare and mussels are our go-tos for appetizers. The tartare may be a challenge for some folks but the freshness of the meat with the richness of the egg yolk, on toasted bread, is beyond delightful. I might just have that as my main entree one day! The mussels were perfect and the broth it was boiled in was so tasty we had to bring the remainder home with us! My bride had the hanger steak (rare) which came out gorgeously seared and juicy on the inside. The shoestring fries are addictive! I could not resist having my lamb burger (med-rare). What more can I say? The arugula on some mayonnaise, the bit of salsa, the moist and generously sized burger with a touch of lime(?) and perhaps some ginger(?), on a bun that tasted freshly baked. No sauce needed. We had a pitcher of rose which was delightfully light and fruity, which went well with our meal. A wonderful way to celebrate Love!

We enjoy Langley and the lights and shops were great to visit. We showed up just before our 5 PM reservation and the hostess was standing at her computer. My wife asked about sitting on the heated outdoor area because it smelled odd in the dining room. She said it was full (it wasn't) but then still looking at her screen said if we could wait a bit they can make a table available. We gladly waited for a few minutes. There were three to four open tables both inside and outside and she sat us at a two top in the corner next to the door. My wife asked if we could get out of the corner but no go. Then she asked if we could just fit inside then? Now the hostess didn't want to accommodate that and when asked what happened to the table inside she intended to give us originally the hostess, in a rather snotty tone, said to my wife "you only made your reservation today!". That isn't the way to address my wife! She told her that we would just go somewhere else. Crickets from this hostess....no effort to please us so gone we were! We haven't been here for a year since the food was not that great last time and cannot compare at all to other better French restaurants on the east coast and our trips to France. We just thought we'd they it again for a nice holiday weekend meal. We went right across the street to a truly packed Village pizzeria, they kindly fit us in at a great bar seating and we got to watch the LA bowl and Huskies and enjoy our usual Village Pizza, caesar, and a couple of rounds of drinks. Excellent and friendly service! We won't be returning now recommending Prima Bistro again. We often tell guests and friends that it's likely a better choice than Saltwater next door. We are getting tired of the "finer" dining on Whidbey that is often overpriced, unreliable, and un accommodating compared to similar dining elsewhere. This was a good example. And at 7 PB appeared almost empty from our view from the street!
