April fools day pickle lemonade! Strange, but not bad.
Kimber R.

Pickle. Lemonade. We visited shipwrecks in Marysville and Camano on April fools day looking for their special for the day. The service between the two was night and day. The girl at the Maryville location was so nice and personable! Camano..not so much. We pulled straight up to the window and immediately felt like we ruined her day with our presence. She had the window open, and she was counting money at the till. When she finally looked at us, it wasn't fantastic. We ordered the pickle lemonade and it was like we were such an inconvenience. It was so uncomfortable. The pickle lemonade was fun. Weird, but fun. But I think I'll pass on this location from now on and stick to locals when I come to town.

I'm glad I found this place on a visit to Camano Island. Thanks Yelp! It's a great place to stop and very yummy!

Sugar free white chocolate caramel frappe

I've been on keto off and on for a few years and have tried many coffee stands. This is the first one that made me a drink that actually tastes like it isn't even sugar free. The baristas were super sweet and worked with me to figure out a good sugar free drink. We ended up doing a SF white chocolate caramel Frappuccino with heavy whipping cream and stevia. It's AMAZING. I just found my new favorite coffee stand! Btw I've been to their Marysville location too and they're both amazing. They always go above and beyond.

This cafe is serving people with no masks even though they have a sign requiring it, helping spread infection in our community.

This cafe is serving people with no masks even though they have a sign requiring it. If you are local feel free to cough and possibly infect everyone , they dont care . This is on a major drive through to and from the island . They are not actually caring about our communities health and just playing along.

Instead, yesterday, I received coffee I neither ordered nor wanted. Getting through to customer service was very difficult. Each time I called, I was on hold for 15 or 20 seconds then told to leave a message. The representative to whom I eventually spoke essentially said (and I'm paraphrasing), "Tough luck." After pressing hard for some consideration, the manager said that the best she could do is offer a credit for one of the pounds of coffee I didn't order or want. I should have received what I ordered, been contacted that my order would not be fulfilled and why, or been credited for the coffee I neither ordered nor would drink. I have quit my membership and urge others to demand good service or quit as well.

Five months ago, on a Saturday or Sunday, my boyfriend and I had lunch at The Baked Cafe. The burgers were good, the buns were mediocre, and the fries were outstanding. The meal was over $40, without drinks. The owner was the only person working. After reading other reviews, we expected a wait, but over a half hour was excessive. There are only two booths, and we were lucky to get one. Because of this, you may end up taking your food to go or eating outside. I left a honest review after our experience, and the owner responded (more like reacted) quite unprofessionally. He mentioned Wednesdays; we were not there on a Wednesday. He mentioned that if we prefer "nutty" (it's Nutty's) or "five guy" (it's Five Guys), that he "felt sorry" for us. Well, I won't feel sorry for him when his business fails.

I think I've reviewed the burger before and maybe the sandwiches but today it's about the tots. Best tots in WA. Cooked to perfection yes but also lightly dusted with some flavorful spices to make it more than just some potatoes. Anyway there's plenty of seating around the bakery we just happen to get things to go on the way off island.

They actually do an ok job sometimes (don't get the croissants though. Raw in the middle). It's just that the service can be so distracted it feels like you're interrupting them when you go to the counter to order. And your food might show up all at once, or more likely whenever they get around to it. They may or may not forget your order while gossiping or arguing. They might over steam the milk in your latte. The soup might not show up with your sandwich. Your mocha might not be stirred, leaving all the chocolate in the bottom. And so on. But if you listen closely you'll know who is dating who and what they think of having to work shifts they don't want... Maturity, focus and attentive management would turn this cute concept into a shop to patronize. As it stands, we avoid it because we just don't need the frustration. There's nothing here that isn't being done better elsewhere. Nice idea, gen-z execution. Not recommended at this time.
