We found this cafe on our way back to Mukilteo. They have a sweet large outdoor patio with lots of seating. It was a perfect spot for us because we had our small puppy with us. It was also a beautiful warm day. Everything we ordered was excellent from the latte, pastries and sandwiches with salad. The service was quick. The servers were very friendly. What a lovely place.

Charming, bustling farmhouse style cafe in a home garden center. So many flowers and greenery. The line for coffee was long, but we waited. We ordered a: * Toasted coconut latte - not robust, disappointing (2/5) * Americano (3/5) * Iced vanilla latte with oat milk (4/5) The wait to get our espresso based drinks was long too. And then our iced drink came out hot. When I told the barista, she asked "are you sure you asked for iced?" And I said yes. She didn't seem like she believed me, but she remade the drink and let us keep the hot one (which we didn't wan't). Bottom line: not worth the wait, unless you're shopping at the garden center

Stumbled on this cafe while driving through whidbey island. And what a cute surprise! The cafe is connected to a nursery, so it's super plant themed. There's a dedicated parking lot as well. We ordered at the counter, got a number, and sat in their covered outdoor area. It was so chill and stunning, I loved the vibes. Food came out pretty quickly as well. My friend and I split the chicken salad sandwich and the tuna salad sandwich. Both sandwiches were really good. I loved the pickled onions and capers in the tuna sandwich. The chicken sandwich had an interesting stringy texture to the chicken salad, but the flavor overall was still good. The chips I got as a side had a delightful thick crunch as well. Overall, stunning place to be with very solid food options. Will definitely be back if I'm ever on Whidbey island!

One of my favorite cafes of all time and definitely the top place I recommend! I grew up on the island and only recently discovered this in the last few years. Perfect spot on a sunny day. Super yummy cafe and the bay view garden is the perfect spot to shop around after! They have so many cute home decor and garden items in there! The food is always so fresh and yummy. They stick with staple plates and rotate some seasonal items. I have yet to be disappointed with anything I order! I love getting a drink and a sandwich and sitting under the covered patio. It's a clear roof so I recommend bringing glass or a hat if you have sensitive eyes. It's decorated beautifully and filled with flowers. Perfect place for a relaxing lunch or to meet up with a few people! Can get pretty busy esp during spring and summer weekends but the lines go quickly and there is a parking lot and street parking available! A must try if you're living on the island or driving through for the day!

Nestled in a red barn. Inside is modern and has simple decor. Lots of seatings inside and outside. Good photo spots! Service was fast. Drinks were ok.

Service was great! We just got coffees to go, but the cashier was so kind and patient as we decided what to get. He explained their specials and we ended up getting those- a cherry London fog and a pistachio white mocha. They were so good! We ended up going back the next day for round 2 because they were so good. Ambiance inside was cute!

Beautiful cafe with indoor and outdoor seating, they had a Valentine's Day special menu and I got a spicy mocha it tasted like Mexican hot chocolate it was delicious, the cookies were amazing you could taste the quality of the butter. The staff were so friendly! It was such a great place to walk around and look at all the nice plants at the nursery, definitely will be back when we're back on the island!

Great service and ambiance, located right next to a beautiful plant nursery so you can enjoy the plants while grabbing a quick bite, snack, or drink. The drinks aren't much to write home about, but I did really enjoy tuna melt.

I visited around 2PM for lunch on a lovely sunny day! I brought my dog along, and I was happy to see that they're dog-friendly with outdoor seating. The whole place was adorable, with lots of flowers and greenery. The staff were also pleasant. For lunch, I ordered the Grilled Cheese Sandwich with bacon and avocado, which came with a side salad. I also had a vanilla latte, and the food and drink were amazing! The grilled cheese was perfectly done, and the latte was super rich and flavorful. Everything came out pretty fast too. The café is located next to a garden walking area, which was wonderful for a stroll with my dog afterward. If I'm back on Whidbey Island, I'll definitely return. I'd love to try their pastries next time!

TL;DR: A local gem with great food and a charming flower-filled outdoor space. Open daily (thank goodness). Came here a few times since it's one of the few consistently open places in the area. Eats: Everything hit the spot! The breakfast burrito was flavorful and hearty, the breakfast sandwich with the pesto was solid, and the tuna salad sandwich was fresh, vibrant, and well-balanced. P.S. Don't miss out on the chocolate chip cookie! Drinks: The seasonal strawberry matcha was tasty and not overly sweet. The mocha had a delicious, unique twist to it--some clove maybe? Both were some of the better drinks I had while staying on the island. Atmosphere: Charming and relaxed vibe with genuinely friendly staff, and a sweet outdoor space filled with beautiful flowers that's located next to their gift shop and nursery! Highly recommend stopping by while you're here!

I got a pumpkin spice latte and split the breakfast burrito and an egg scramble plate. The latte was too sweet and kind of small. The burrito was delicious. The egg scramble was all right. The seating area outside is really nice, and afterwards there's a nursery and a souvenir shop right next to the cafe that you can check out. I really enjoyed this place!

Really cute place, I love the ambiance and outdoor seating options! Their pastries are pretty decent as well!

What an absolute gem of a cafe! Stopped in our day trip to Whidbey for some coffee and baked goods. Service was very friendly, and there was plenty of seating indoors. I want to come back in the spring when it's warmer to make use of their outdoor seating too. We ordered an iced latte, cappuccino, almond croissant and olive oil earl gray tea cake. We loved everything. Definitely recommend popping into the shop and garden center next door too!

The space is cozy and a good vibe for a date night. We loved both of the dishes we tried, especially the scallop risotto. All the seafood was fresh and cooked really well. The miso cod had the perfect crispiness on the skin and the scallops were perfect. All the tabloids went really well together. The cocktails were not bad, but not our favorite part of the meal. Everyone was super friendly and we really appreciated that our server knew exactly when to check in and give us space. He also picked up on the fact that we wanted to share all the dishes so he brought them out one at a time. When we ordered dessert he added in a candle since he knew we were celebrating and brought out extra dessert wine and goodies too! We appreciated the attention to detail :) Definitely a must try in Whidbey!

We went during HH and tried a variety of small bites and every single one of them was delicious. The oysters were on point, the greens balanced, the croquettes and salmon dip were very flavorful but our favorite dish of the day was the biggest one and that was the house made pasta. The selection changes every day and on our day it had red sauce, red onion, and castelvetrano olives and it was so good that we ordered a second bowl! And we may not have needed a second bowl as it was a solid size but it was so good! The house red during HH was also nice and I tried a white port and tonic which was fun to try and refreshing. Definitely a destination stop whenever one is around Port Townsend!

Service was attentive and friendly as usual. We were quickly seated for our reservations. The tartare and mussels are our go-tos for appetizers. The tartare may be a challenge for some folks but the freshness of the meat with the richness of the egg yolk, on toasted bread, is beyond delightful. I might just have that as my main entree one day! The mussels were perfect and the broth it was boiled in was so tasty we had to bring the remainder home with us! My bride had the hanger steak (rare) which came out gorgeously seared and juicy on the inside. The shoestring fries are addictive! I could not resist having my lamb burger (med-rare). What more can I say? The arugula on some mayonnaise, the bit of salsa, the moist and generously sized burger with a touch of lime(?) and perhaps some ginger(?), on a bun that tasted freshly baked. No sauce needed. We had a pitcher of rose which was delightfully light and fruity, which went well with our meal. A wonderful way to celebrate Love!

We enjoy Langley and the lights and shops were great to visit. We showed up just before our 5 PM reservation and the hostess was standing at her computer. My wife asked about sitting on the heated outdoor area because it smelled odd in the dining room. She said it was full (it wasn't) but then still looking at her screen said if we could wait a bit they can make a table available. We gladly waited for a few minutes. There were three to four open tables both inside and outside and she sat us at a two top in the corner next to the door. My wife asked if we could get out of the corner but no go. Then she asked if we could just fit inside then? Now the hostess didn't want to accommodate that and when asked what happened to the table inside she intended to give us originally the hostess, in a rather snotty tone, said to my wife "you only made your reservation today!". That isn't the way to address my wife! She told her that we would just go somewhere else. Crickets from this hostess....no effort to please us so gone we were! We haven't been here for a year since the food was not that great last time and cannot compare at all to other better French restaurants on the east coast and our trips to France. We just thought we'd they it again for a nice holiday weekend meal. We went right across the street to a truly packed Village pizzeria, they kindly fit us in at a great bar seating and we got to watch the LA bowl and Huskies and enjoy our usual Village Pizza, caesar, and a couple of rounds of drinks. Excellent and friendly service! We won't be returning now recommending Prima Bistro again. We often tell guests and friends that it's likely a better choice than Saltwater next door. We are getting tired of the "finer" dining on Whidbey that is often overpriced, unreliable, and un accommodating compared to similar dining elsewhere. This was a good example. And at 7 PB appeared almost empty from our view from the street!

The chef actually called me personally to confirm how low "low sodium" meant. That level of care alone had me ready to give five stars before we even walked through the door. Speaking of the door--the place immediately sets the tone. The interior is modern and sleek, and the entrance door itself is so cool it deserves its own Yelp review. We were greeted by the chef and his wife, which instantly made the evening feel warm and personal. With only four tables total, the setting is incredibly intimate, and we lucked out by having the entire place to ourselves at the chef's table--front-row seats to the magic happening in the kitchen. Dinner and a show, minus the awkward applause. The chef's wife was incredibly attentive, welcoming, and genuinely friendly. We had great conversations with both of them throughout the night, and it truly felt less like dining out and more like being invited into someone's very stylish home--where the hosts just happen to be exceptionally talented. Now let's talk about the food. The first course was scallops with caviar. The scallops were cooked perfectly--moist, tender, and seasoned just right to balance the caviar without overpowering it. Delicate, flavorful, and honestly a strong opening act. Then came the tomahawk--and wow. Cooked to absolute perfection, with a flawless medium-rare center and beautifully rendered, crispy fat. The mashed potatoes were smooth, rich, and paired perfectly with the peppercorn sauce, which tied everything together like it knew exactly why it was there. Add in the roasted garlic, and you get the perfect bite: tomahawk, mashed potatoes, and roasted garlic in one forkful. I'm still thinking about it. Fair warning: while everything was incredibly delicious, this experience does come with a higher price tag. That said, when you factor in the intimate setting, the thoughtful personalization, and the outstanding quality of the food, it absolutely felt worth it. This is the kind of meal you plan for, savor, and quietly judge other dinners against afterward. An unforgettable experience from start to finish. Come hungry--and maybe emotionally prepared to miss it the next day.
