Sprinklz is a cute ice cream shop in the middle of downtown Langley. They have a wide variety of things to choose from between: smoothies, ice cream, and milkshakes. For cones, they have several different flavors to choose from and also do pup flights for dogs. They also have a lot of candy options too. I ordered a peach smoothie and their strawberry cheesecake ice cream. Both were very good on a hot summer day and you can enjoy your ice cream on their back patio overlooking the water. We got our ice cream quickly even though there was only one person working. There aren't a lot of ice cream options but they have a bunch of cone options. I had the blackberry ice cream and there were hardly any blackberries in it. i would probably get the huckleberry next time because it looked like it had a lot of fruit in it. My partner had the lemon meringue ice cream and said it was very good. There is a small back area to sit and eat with some tables and chairs. It has a beautiful view of the water. read more

I would warn about getting nickle-and-dimed here but it is more like one-and-fived with all of the up-charges. It was only $0.75 each, but charging extra for a cup for a child for their ice cream cone is both low and lame. I saw the fancy-pants cups with the listed charge, but I did not quite understand and thought maybe it was for a fancy cup but not for a cup to serve a cones to a young child. Because no child has ever dropped their cone or knocked a scoop off. No one has ever even spoofed that in cartoons or TV shows. Regardless, the worker could have at least mentioned it not once but twice, to ensure we understood the extra charge! Also, she could have mentioned some of the cones (the cookie ones) were something around $3 extra. Just a friendly customer service, "Just to let you know, that is [insert amount here] extra." So for that, I have to say the service here sucked. And like a fool, i fell for the "tip" nonsense on the payment screen. The ice cream itself was basic. Basic flavors. Basic taste. Was it fun? Yah. Did the children love it? Yes, though the one who got the fancy cookie cone didn't finish it, because he said the cone tasted odd. The best part was probably the photo cutout board in the court yard. Honestly, I am surprised the worker didn't chase us down and charge for taking photos of the kids. Painful to write this, painful! How in the world can an ice cream experience be sad? But this was. In so many ways. The staff are so nice, so I feel sorry to do this review because of them. On vacation, we were enticed to venture inside by the siren song for ice cream sweetly flashing at us from the windows and the neon sign, the cuteness outside and inside, and then the welcoming of the staff. "Ice cream?" my sweet guy says, wanting to treat me. "Cash only!" we were told upon entry and a lot of eager people filed in behind us, boding well, I assumed. But there was a sticker-shock upon paying. I admit to not having paid for an ice cream cone lately, so maybe numbers everywhere are out the roof. But here's what happened-- My guy got his single scoop in a fancy chocolate-studded cone. The minute it reaches his hand, I can see it is melting. "Go outside and start eating!" I tell him urgently. "I'll take care of this." I order my single scoop lemon meringue in a tricked-out cone. "$18+," I was told. I was holding a twenty out, but I didn't ever expect that it would barely cover our two cones. In shock, I push it forward, then stick the single bill from my change into the tip jar. So basically this was nearly a twenty dollar couple of cones, less a tiny bit of coin. I go outside. My guy is eating as fast as he can and I see a complete chocolate mess on his hand holding the cone--and dripping. He was given no napkins. I was given some "extras." So I hand him two off the bat. Not enough to stem this tide! I give him my third which was the last one I had. I attack my melting ice cream. Unbelievable--completely tasteless! I have him take a lick to confirm. Yep! He confirms this is so. No flavor at all. In the meantime, his is melting like crazy (it wasn't that hot outside). I feel a trickle, then look down at my hand. It is covered in melted lemon meringue cream. What?!?! I look more closely. The cute, fun things on the cone are leaking!!! Then I realize why his hand is so drippy! Has no one ever tested these? So I still had a mound of tasteless ice cream on top while the inside was bleeding itself onto my hand. He was a mess; now I was too. I threw mine away basically uneaten. Hand a creamy mess... The fastest and most useless waste of twenty bucks that I have experienced in recent memory. I did look at the order board upon entering, which is complicated and not that easy to see or interpret--so I could not have predicted what was about to happen dollar-wise, so that was not good--but why would I think nearly $20 for two single-scoop ice creams. It's been a long time since I've written a review, but my family and had a horrible experience there. We went in and got 4 single scoop ice cream cones which ended up being $32. Yes that's right that's 8 a cone wowza talk about sticker shock. I could have dealt with kind of price if it weren't for the fact that the girl working there was rude. She had an attitude with my stepdad who's in his 80's while he was trying to decide cake or waffle cone. The cones didn't come with napkins and when I asked for extra she gave 1 single measly thin napkin. I ended up having to ask 4 times for napkins. Then at the end of the transaction she asked if we needed wet wipes for 5 cents each. Lol no complimentary napkins at an ice cream shop where drips are bound to happen, but 5 cents per wipe? The audacity! You'd think that the ice cream was amazing, but also nope not many choices and super bland. So at this point we're all a little upset we're walking down the street and another family hears us complaining. The young woman behind the counter said "We don't give samples". Well, we weren't going to argue the point, not that big of a deal, but other reviews on Yelp indicate samples are not a problem and we were only asking for one so we were surprised at the refusal. The owner responded to this review advising that the lack of samples is due to COVID restrictions. That is understandable. Would have been very helpful f the server had mentioned that. Both times and different worker were rude, looked annoyed at me and my 7yo daughter for taking too long to choose ice cream flavors, and never thanked us for buying and tipping them. Both times we were the ONLY customers in the store. The scoops amount to about $5 each, after adding a half a table spoon of sprinkles. Hubs and I went here during a break at Jazz night at the wine bar across the street. It was so nice inside and the employees were lovely. I really wanted a strawberry shortcake but it was just too big and I knew I wouldn't be able to finish it. So instead I watched my husband order a salted caramel ice cream sundae. After watching him savor his ice cream , I decided to order something. I decided to make up my own subday. I created the most delicious concoction ever . Imagine this: scoops of vanilla ice cream sandwiched by mini donuts drizzled with caramel sauce topped with whipped cream.
