I love this cute little smoothie bar! It's everything I could have ever wanted and more. The owner…read moreis super friendly and she offers a huge selection of smoothies and small bites. I got the glow up smoothie and was pleasantly surprised by how nutritious it was and it tasted amazing. It is made of all natural and healthy ingredients. You can also add on toppings as well.

Where do I start?…read more ViBE has three different categories of smoothies. I was immediately attracted to The Glow Up: the anti inflammatory smoothie. Mango, Banana, Golden Berries, a Turmeric shot, and Sweet Potato I was nervous about it because turmeric and sweet potato aren't my first choice for smoothies but I was reassured that her 8-year-old likes it. She definitely delivered!! The turmeric is present but it just kind of belongs with the mango and banana in there! Sweet potato? I honestly didn't taste it. I also had The Avo: Sunflower seed bread topped with smashed avo, two eggs, and fresh dill. Funny enough, I was craving avocado toast not knowing ViBE has it. I would have loved to squeeze a tinge of lemon on it but it was delicious as is. It has a little salt added too but I'm sure you could ask her to skip the salt. Type 1 diabetic note: The smoothie did NOT spike my blood sugar! Yes, my blood sugar did raised but it did not spike. I chose The Glow Up because I'm working on decreasing noticeable inflammation in my knees and back. Also, the seating area...

Lunch in downtown Augusta can go in a lot of directions, but today we wanted something inexpensive,…read morelocal in spirit, and fresh enough to feel like a small reset in the middle of the day. Yelp nudged us toward New Moon Cafe, and while the signage from the street is minimal enough that we almost walked past it, we eventually found our way inside and were glad we did. At 12:30 on a Saturday the timing worked in our favor. We stepped right up to the counter with no queue at all, placed our order, and settled in. By the time our food arrived about fifteen minutes later, the line had grown to the point where people were waiting nearly that long just to order, which gave the whole place that lively, slightly chaotic weekend energy without ever feeling rushed. Mrs. K chose the smoked salmon bagel, which came out panini pressed, a small twist on a classic that she enjoyed. I am still keeping things keto, so the chef's salad with blue cheese was exactly what I needed, a generous portion that felt balanced and satisfying without pushing me off track. They offer plenty of coffee drinks and smoothie combinations, but we kept things simple and were perfectly happy with our choices. There is outdoor seating if that is your preference, and the whole experience had that relaxed, local charm that makes Augusta lunches feel unhurried even when the dining room is filling up around you.
