Banana brownie

Sweet Fix is such a hidden gem in this plaza off of McKee near the wingstop. I've literally drove. By many many times and missed it. But now that it's on my radar, I would definitely go back for a sweet treat if I'm in the area and craving some ice cream. They have several flavors to choose from. Some that are tried and true with some unique flavors as well. My go-tos are the banana brownie and green tea. I like that you can sample the flavors and the staff was super patient and nice when me and my friends have come in with a group. Overall very delicious flavors and my problem is limiting it down to two! Fortunately you can do a split scoop. It's pretty small but there are some seats inside to chill and hang out with friends casually. Definitely a solid ice cream place that can get a line (and now I know why!)

Cookies and Cream - Pint of Ice Cream

This ice cream shop is a hidden gem! I've passed by many times, but I only just stopped by since the place is unassuming. They seem to have some slightly more unique flavors like toasted almond and matcha. They also have something like Gunther's in Sac where you can sandwich ice cream between Italian ice. I decided to buy a pint of the cookies and cream and the texture is super smooth and creamy - I will say though that the base of this tastes more like vanilla than creme. There's plenty of parking since it's in a shopping plaza. There is no outdoor seating. They do offer online pickup.

10/10 would recommend this place. I've been going to here for the last four months, usually at least twice a month, just for their milkshakes. They always have amazing ice cream flavors, so I'm constantly mixing and matching flavors and toppings. The staff is super friendly and always accommodating to my crazy creations, whether it's letting me sample flavors or listening to my special requests. Safe to say, this place will have my business for years to come.

kept seeing this place on IG but it seems a lil janky irl one section looked beat up & messy tried a few samples but nothing really stood out - kinda ended up just going w matcha & strawberry overpriced too :( two small tables inside

Always a go to ice cream place of ours that's very close by! All the ice cream flavors are delicious and creamy. They're always very generous with the scoops they give us. Highly recommend getting any of their seasonal flavors! Out of all the times we came here, our favorite seasonal flavor was the blueberry lavender. I hope they bring it back again soon.

Sweet Fix Creamery has been around for a while, and my family used to frequent them pre-pandemic. I am glad I got a chance to visit them. Great smooth and creamy ice cream with classic and new flavors. I like that they rotate and try new inspiring flavors. The service was friendly, helpful, and outgoing! Both of them recommended the Peach Oolong and the Butter Cookie. I got the peach because they said it was only until the end of August.

Maybe next time

Had to stop and check it out. Friendly service. Loss of samples Had the better which was the perfect fix.

Best Italian Ice

I went here the other day and I got a scoop of cherry & watermelon for Italian Ice. I loved these two flavors! They tasted amazing and I honestly wish I got another scoop. This spot is hidden because it's next to a Wingstop and a Starbucks so you have to look closely. The dude that was helping me had great customer service. He helped me decide between the ice cream or Italian Ice. He let me try the flavors before picking the one I wanted. It's definitely a grab and go place. You can sit down and eat your ice cream or Italian Ice but the store has a really pretty set up. I would definitely go back here and try out their ice cream next time!

2 Scoop in a cup, coffee and chocolate delight

Sweet Fix Creamery serves up really delicious quality ice cream! "Sweet Fix Creamery" is located in the Capitol Square Mall in San Jose,CA. It was about 7:30pm on a Thursday evening, and I was driving around looking for a place to grab a snack before the drive home. I park and see "Sweet Fix Creamery." I couldn't tell if they were still open because there's no customers inside. No customers? I can fix this problem! So I'm immediately greeted by a young lady and she points out popular flavors. I ask for 2 scoops of Chocolate Delight and Coffee ice cream. It rings up to just over $8. 2 scoops in a cup is very small here. It's like $4 a scoop. This is was my first time here, there's probably a smarter way to order. This is really good ice cream! Coffee ice cream is an adult flavor. It should be a little bitter, a little sweet, and creamy. Eating ice cream is an experience of taste, texture, and the cold sensation that brings refreshment on a warm day. Ice cream is a comfort food. It makes you feel good. The flavor of the coffee ice cream lasted from start to finish. There was no weird after taste or watery base. It's just GOOD! The Chocolate Delight had a rich, sweet and creamy chocolate flavor. It was like eating a chocolate cake. The intense richness of the chocolate grabbed my attention. Very thick texture. If I'm in the area again, I'll try other flavors and post an update. This place had no tables inside, so everything is takeout.

I looooove going to this place after my family gets sushi. The service is very fast and smooth. The staff are always welcoming and gives generous scoops (Amazing, never change!) their selection of icecream is very yummy. This is like my third time here. Some personal favorites are the Black Sesame, Cookie Batter, and Banana Brownies. Love the icecream here!

Sunil R.

They catered ice cream at a party I attended. It was a hot day and the line was long and the ice cream was refreshing.

The store looked kind of dead and did not have a lot of tables + seatings except the long bench. There's plenty of parking spaces since it's in a plaza. We got 2 of the creme brulee matcha swirl due to the hype of this drink. The cream was extremely thick and just for my preference, it was too much. The matcha was not as strong to balance the sweetness and decadency of the cream. We ended up letting it melt a bit so we can drink the matcha without having to eat chunks of the cream. If you like your matcha thick, then I recommend this drink! It was just not up my alley unfortunately.

I think price might be the only sticking point. The che is about 50% more expensive than Bambu or other Vietnamese dessert spots. I can absolutely see why their products are more expensive and totally think the quality of their dessert drinks surpass Bambu or similar dessert cafes. At the same time I have to acknowledge that I can order a che ba mau at another dessert spot and have my craving satisfied for less money.
