I promised myself I wouldn't devour all three at once and so far I've made it (and I've been home a whole five minutes!!!) I can excitedly report, the cherry chip is divine-a nice balance of flavors... not too sweet. I'll report back on the others later (or perhaps sooner). The little jewel box that is Sweetie's is in the Plaza Bella shopping center, at Bloomingdale and Bell Shoals... and it shares a big parking lot with Naga Tea, the Green Boutique and The Shrimp Boat. They had deviled crabs and stuffed potato balls as well as empanadas. I asked the young lady behind the counter if they had any more pastries coming out, and she kindly went to the back and brought me a guava pastry. It did not disappoint -- warm, flaky, and rich with buttery flavor. If you're on the hunt for a pastry with that perfect golden crust and melt-in-your-mouth texture, this place is definitely worth a visit.

I actually likes the savory over the sweet pistachio. My wife got a cinnamon roll which she loved. We also liked the cupcake. They were a little pricey but I would pay it all over again. For the same price, the meringue is gone, the butter and sugar are not creamed together sufficiently, and the dry ingredients are only mixed to a rocky consistency. The chocolate stays separate and the cookie is greasy, difficult to handle and doesn't taste very good. It is not made with love, nor was it mixed properly. The croissants are great just do not order any meringue products or the basque cheesecake. Not putting enough batter, temp too high and result a dried piece of paper with a hint of what once was.
