This place is pretty much honeyme but with a variety of other options. Came here on Christmas night after dinner at home and got the honeycomb flavor which comes with an actual honeycomb. Total came out to be $8.24. It was pretty good - subtle but rich in flavor especially with the honey drizzled on top of it. My cousins got the tiramisu flavor to share and that was okay for me but cool to see that they put lady fingers in there to make it actually like a tiramisu. Overall, it's good but I'd only come here once in a while since they don't have much favorite flavor which is matcha (they only have matcha floats). Every place does this but there's a big ole hole in the middle of the dessert so you don't actually get as much as you think. Haha. Aesthetically, such a cute boba spot! I went on a Saturday night and my party was the only one there. It wasn't busy at all! My experience was just okay.. Drinks: - Tiramisu milk tea w/ boba: 6.8/10 Despite ordering it at 100% (regular) sweetness, I just felt like it was lacking in terms of flavor. It wasn't that sweet and honestly tasted kinda water down. After looking over their extensive menu, we ended up ordering: Lychee Macaron, $2.50 prior to tax- A pretty good flavor macaron, it has a light flavor of lychee. Thai Ice Tea Macaron, $2.50 prior to tax- The Thai ice tea flavor is prominent. I liked this macaron as well. Creamy Melon, $5.75 prior to tax- Creamy melon is a swirl of both vanilla ice cream and watermelon sorbet, which is a great combination (although if you prefer, you can just get the watermelon sorbet for the same price but I think the vanilla ice cream makes this extra creamy and has an excellent mouth feel). I loved these 2 flavors together and so did my little girl. The size of this frozen treat is more than plenty for 2 people (and a little girl dog) to share. A small cafe that shares a very, very small parking lot with a couple other businesses. I was lucky to find a parking space. The interior decor is nice but has limited seating. Their menu is mostly flavored ice cream and limited tea drink. I ordered a Mango Green Tea with mango chunks/boba (75% sweetness and ice). It tasted banal and lacks the mango fruity; ice was in small amount that it melted quickly. Therefore, it became a little lukewarm. Next time I will make the necessary adjustment. Server was amiable, patient and professional. Service was on point. They have free wifi. Kiosk order available. Parking was easy. The honey comb soft serve was soooooo yummy! It wasn't overly sweet. The honey provided the perfect sweetness but also a slight hint of saltiness? Not 100 percent sure but it was hella yummy!!! I also thought the honey from the honeycomb was extra tasty but I'm not a fan of the beeswax haha. But the honey was so good, so I recommend just chewing it and throwing away the beeswax haha. Milkcow Cafe is one of the few boba shops open until 11pm on a weekend night. I had the opportunity to visit with a friend and tried the Dirty Ube Milk without the "dirty" brown sugar syrup. The location itself is rather small but can be comfortable for smaller groups. The "clean" Ube Milk is an interesting drink. I'm not the biggest fan of ice cream, so that left me with 20% of the menu to choose from. What surprised me was I think the milk part came from vanilla ice cream - or at least if it didn't that's what it tasted like. The Ube powder was not thoroughly mixed, so there were chunks of ube around the drink which was peculiar. Even at half sweet, it was quite sweet. Sweet Cow Cafe is a nice concept especially mixing boba with ice cream. But when you get the actual drinks, whether it's the boba float or blended ice cream drinks, it's the small details that are hard to ignore. The boba float alone was a small serving that was only an inch or so tall from the lip of the cup. It had only six to eight pieces of boba and a small drizzle of syrup. That was around $13 with tip. The other item I got was the blended ice cream drink the one with matcha, ice cream and cheese foam. I also added in a mochi add-on but was disappointed to find it was missing from the drink. I paid around $10 with tip. Oh and ice ratio was rather high so you barely had any liquid. I hate giving negative reviews but these small details really make a huge difference. Boba should be hefty and the add-ons should be included in the drink. It is difficult to see if it was easy to forget these details since Sweet Cow Cafe is generally empty. Unless they work on honoring the toppings, you're better off going to Bubble Puff next door which is always busy. read more

So Milk Cow on the Rose Parade Route - Colorado Boulevard in Pasadena only has street parking, unless you use adjacent restaurants' parking lots in the back. Thus not always convenient. We went on a rainy day near year-end, thus the parade Grand stands were set up. We ordered a few drinks and all were passable. So the difference between a three, four, and five star? I've only tried two flavors here: the dirty boba soft serve and it was AH-AMAZING! Definitely add the honey, it was a really nice combo with the flavors of the dirty boba. The Black Pearl with mochi was okay, I'd much rather prefer the dirty boba. I can't give it full stars for two reasons: 1. No store parking. They only have street parking which can get annoying when I'm taking my toddler for a simple activity like getting ice cream. 2. Too many "out of stock" items. We can here a few times on various week days and weekends, and there's a lot of NA items. I was a bit bummed. I don't know why I had hope for this place. Maybe it was because the Moo Wheel Cake looked soo delicious. Came here on a Monday night. You have to order either online or through a kiosk. I had some questions because I wanted to order the moo wheel cake but it there wasn't an option listed in the kiosk. So I tried to get the attention of the man working there. I said, "Hi, excuse me, I have a question" in a very gentle tone and he said one moment. He was working on another order so I was patient. Keep in mind, I'm waiting at the Kiosk to place an order. He gives the other customer their items and then after he didn't bother to ask what my question was. I had to once again say hi and tell him I had a question. I asked where the moo wheel cake was on the kiosk and he said they no longer sell that and then walked away. Kind of rude. So then I ordered 4 little macarons and the Matcha Ice Berg. We got our order but then noticed that the Matcha Ice Berg didn't have an strawberries. Went back in and he was rude about the strawberries. Finally put some on our soft serve dessert.
