Plus, artificial tasting thanks to Torani branded syrup being used. That all said, the chicken salad! This item is worth the trip to this little place. Served on a flaky and buttery croissant, with nice fat slices of grapes. My teen loves these for a quick grab and go. Don't even read the bad reviews. I mean really?! People don't know donuts because they eat at Krispy Krap. We were traveling south from Georgia to get a break from the hurricane damage, looking for ice when we found this shop. It meant a lot to us that they had AC, cinnamon rolls, coffee and fruity pebbles donuts. They were so sweet and able to find a little bit of pumpkin spice when there was none to be found between Georgia and Florida. My husband had the blueberry crisp coffee and it was like nothing I've ever seen and fabulous! My cinnamon roll was warmed, soft, and the cream cheese frosting made it even better. It's the best cinnamon roll I've ever had outside of my husband's baking. He killed the donut and raved about it. The little items for sale were adorable. We plan on making another trip soon to but an entire set for our kitchen. Plenty of parking around back at the customer entrance. There's also a drive thru making it super convenient. Overall a great find when we had no idea we were looking for it. read more

Stopped to try the coffee and was a quite disappointed. Coffee tastes burnt and bitter and although the atmosphere was pleasant, the employees were not happy souls. Not a smile to be found. I felt like I was being an pest when I was asking questions on my first and probably only visit. Maybe everyone got a butt chewing from the owner before I arrived but wow what a bunch of sour pusses. I try my best to frequent local establishments versus the big coffee purveyors but the coffee here on the day I visited was as bad as the BIG COFFEE store. This is by far my favorite coffee shop since I've lived in Florida (about 6 years now). When I first found it I was going probably every day and would spend a couple hours reading. The food is always amazing. My favorite to get is their French Dip sandwich whenever it's available. Their pastries are great, especially the cheese danishes. I love the feel of the store, they have local businesses that put some of their goods and such on stands inside. The furniture is comfortable when you're hanging out. Not to mention everyone who works there is so nice and welcoming. It truly is an amazing little shop. read more

Stopped by in need of caffeine. Got two coffees (one iced and one frozen) and they were delicious! We did not get any food or sweets, even though we've heard nothing but great things about them since we've just eaten and needed a boost. The girls at the counter made suggestions since it was our first time there and we didn't know what we wanted. Their suggestions were great and we left happy! The set up of the shop is really nice with plenty of space to just sit and chill. They also have events from time to time using vendors from the area so always great to see community support! But since Day 1 when they opened in their smaller location to now STILL the same amazing service always with a smile! I called ahead and asked if they could prepare a dozen donuts for the team at Full Circle who took care of my Sunni so well for a full week. I was excited to see Callahan with a coffee shop. It always seems empty and I've given this place a few chances. Every time I walk in, I'm not greeted, I'm not looking at a smiling face but I judgy one. Sometimes small town shops are the nicest people ever but I feel like unless you go to their church or they know you from childhood, they really don't give you a welcoming feeling. The coffee is fine. I've never had food there so I can't say anything about that. I wish I could give it more stars but I feel very unwelcome there. :( I know locals that love it but I also know they are the owners friend. Other than that, strangers beware! read more

I've tried Sweet as Cyn numerous times, their chicken salad croissant sandwich is delicious. On another occasion i tried chicken gnocchi soup, delicious but the cup just wasn't enough if purchased alone, you need like a half sandwich or something more filling with it. As for cupcakes, I've tried several times and I was less than impressed as they're not "bakery" size. As for the doughnuts, everything seemed to have sprinkles and I'm just not a sprinkle fan but the cynamon rolls are good but not great. Store decor is cute and clean and there's ample parking, and staff were pleasant. I want them to be successful as I love small businesses so giving my honest review. read more

I stopped at Sweet as Cyn to purchase lunch to go. I ordered a French Dip and gnocchi soup. After what seemed like a long time for near empty restaurant I received my order. Upon arriving at home I discover a Ham and Swiss sandwich in the container. Having Ham and Swiss in my refrigerator and being in the mood for something else this was quite a disappointment. II called the restaurant to discuss this and was put on hold and forgotten. I decided to eat the soup and found they had forgotten to put any Gnocchi in the soup.
