I had to revisit Magnolia Cafe since my first review was during opening week and they were just getting started. I arrived around 10:30 am and there were 3 tables with people and 20 empty tables. The 2 waitresses were very attentive and the Cafe is definitely clean and orderly. I've attached the breakfast and lunch menu along with a separate menu for drinks. They have a very nice selection for breakfast and lunch so I tried the full breakfast bowl, which was very good. The prices are reasonable and compare more to a 2 star restaurant. I think this place will really be popular once the word gets out so I'm going to enjoy it while it's one of the best kept secrets in Yulee.

They have a lot of options to choose from on their menu. The cappuccino was great. The French toast bought itself is amazing. However they top it with the refrigerator, cold, canned peaches. The peaches were not good. The Belgium waffle was OK but very sweet. And the ham cheese egg croissant was not very warm. The waitress was very nice and attentive. The decor was very cute.

Let me tell you something about this place!!! Firstly, I am a foodie, I expressly say this place has absolutely knocked it out of the park. I had zero expectations walking in. As you enter, you are presented with the menu and donut display, while limited today I am sure it was due to the time that we arrived. It has been my experience that Most donut shops are open early and closed early or when they sell out of donuts. We ordered a variety of donuts to experience complimented them with a hot Matcha latte.( also awesome ) I selected the Cajun Benny for breakfast. Absolutely delicious !! This is one that I think Justin Wilson would be proud to eat. The hints of Cajun seasoning throughout are present without being overwhelming. That spicy smoked sausage is the perfect way to accentuate this dish. I was impressed by the perfectly poached egg, both were spherical and cooked perfectly. I even had to inquire as to how they achieved that delicious level. In my opinion this stole the show over the Donuts but that's just me. Mind you, the donuts are good. Worth the money as they are quite pricey.

Love the Magnolia Cafe! It's great to have a comfy breakfast place in the heart of Yulee. We have been to the one in Fernandina Beach too for breakfast and they have a great deal of options. I like the atmosphere. It's like a diner with great food without the noise and cramped space.

Cute little stop! Great selection. Super friendly staff. We love that the donuts are small so that we can try multiple or eat one guilt-free. They also taste great. I had the frittata and it was good! My husband had sausage and biscuit and it was great too. We also love the coffee here!

This place has been open less than 2 weeks but you may know of them from their food truck! I asked and they're open 6am-2pm. Came in today for brunch and loved it. It's a little expensive but worth it to support local. We got donuts which were good, scrambled eggs with cheese and hasbrowns which were nothing special but still good, deviled eggs (good but just a little hard...we did come at 12:30 though), side of fries (huge and yummy) and YUMMY chicken sliders. It's a slider made of glazed donut, with buffalo fried chicken, and cole slaw. It also comes with french fries! Cant wait to come back and try more things :)

This was my second visit to Southern Donut Company and I was not disappointed! I ordered the Fried Chicken and Buttermilk Biscuit sandwich and Oh My Goodness! It was amazing! It came with hot honey glaze, pimento cheese and red pepper jelly on it. Just enough spice to give it some zip and those flavors blended together so well! The chicken was fried perfectly. Super crunchy outside and tender inside. The biscuit was perfectly baked and didn't crumble when I picked it up. You are missing out if you don't try it. I also ordered my absolute favorite donut that they make-Crème Brûlée. Vanilla custard filling and topped with caramelized sugar. Chef's Kiss!! Give this place a try, you will love it!

After going to the "other/old" address we were glad we found the new location on 200 in Yulee. The glazed donut was tasty, the bacon in the omelet was perfectly crispy and the spicy sausage/salsa balance was perfect in the breakfast burrito.

These were served today - love the maple bacon and peanut butter chocolate one! They are smaller but super rich and decadent! Definitely want to try the the rest of the menu

Great new breakfast place in Yulee! I can't speak to the donuts, but the omelette and coffee are what made me a repeat customer!

The waitress was very friendly and professional, and seemed to enjoy her job. The restaurant I have to say was clean well organized, and had a very comforting ambience. Almost like a home like feeling. Listening to the team jovially talk to each other other made you feel that you were at home. I will start out talking about the broccoli salad, OMG, that was outstanding! Though the portion was on the smaller side, the flavor was rich! I had the two for two for two breakfast, which was the two eggs, two pancakes and two strips of turkey bacon. The pancakes ice would say we're very good and of course you can't go wrong when you do eggs correctly like they did. My aunt had some type of pancake that was made into the shape of a bowl and that was phenomenal. I wished I had gotten that. My uncle's egg white omelette was overfilled with fresh vegetables! It looked outstanding. Overall, I would definitely drive back for this restaurant

As a matter of fact how we've known about this restaurant we might've moved here several years before we actually did. My husband adores the hamburger steak, scrambled eggs, toast, and hashbrowns. He's a man of familiar habits and he's never been disappointed. I like to experiment and honestly, I've never been disappointed. In addition to the delicious food that orange juice would keep me coming back to this restaurant day after day after day! This restaurant is absolutely the best in the area or even the best of the best

I wanted to share my experience because it was extremely disappointing from beginning to end…read more When the host was walking us to our table, she told us there were no high chairs available. I understood that, but then she suggested putting a regular chair at the end of the table for my 1-year-old. I politely told her, "No, we'll make it work at the table." She immediately rolled her eyes and, with an attitude, said, "It's a four-top." I explained that there were three adults and two toddlers, so we would be fine sharing the table rather than having my 1-year-old sit alone in a regular chair at the end of the table. After that interaction, she didn't even walk us to our table. Instead, she pointed across the restaurant to where we were supposed to sit and walked away. She also never brought us our menus that were in her hand since she didn't walk us to the table. Later, I took my 3-year-old to the restroom. As we were walking back to our table, an employee came running through the kitchen door without saying they were coming out and hit my child with it. The employee looked directly at us but didn't apologize or ask if my child was okay. They simply continued walking. When our food arrived, our order was incorrect, and our children's meals weren't brought out at all. As we were leaving, my 1-year-old accidentally knocked over a drink. I immediately started looking for napkins so I could clean it up myself, but the same employee rolled her eyes again, had an obvious attitude, and wouldn't even hand me any napkins to help clean the spill. At that point, I asked to speak with a manager. The employee with the problem came up and stood there while I requested one but made no effort to get a manager for me the other host just said oh sorry. After we left, I called the restaurant and asked to speak with a manager. They hung up on me, and when I called back, they refused to answer the phone. Overall, the lack of customer service, professionalism, and basic concern for customers especially after my child was hit by the kitchen door was unacceptable. I understand that mistakes happen, but the repeated poor attitudes and lack of accountability made this one of the worst dining experiences I've had.

Our server was kind, but not overly friendly (I don't want a performance, you know?). And our food came out maybe 10 minutes after we ordered. We were early enough to order the Sunrise Special and the egg portions seemed surprisingly large! The grits were lovely. The bacon was not the best, it's thin cut (reminiscent of microwave bacon) and I prefer it to be thick. I ordered the eggs Benedict and really enjoyed it. The hollandaise could have had a touch more seasoning, but the texture was great. I actually preferred the Canadian bacon that came on it than the regular bacon that came with the Sunrise Special. It was perfectly salty and crisp. Oh! And it came with crab meat on it which was a special twist I didn't expect but really appreciated. The potatoes are cut into large chunks, but they are well seasoned and cooked nicely. I can't stand when a potato is undercooked, but this place didn't have that problem. And the cherry on top was the water. Florida locals may not be bothered by the ocean-y taste that comes with their drinking water, but for our family it is something that's hard to get past. We were pleasantly surprised to find that this water tasted as if it was filtered and the ice is that soft kind that's pleasant to chew. This might seem like a silly thing to add, but it really stood out to me and I'm grateful for it.
