WOW! I am donut obsessed person and I must say, this is the top donut place I've been. Build your own donut is such a fabulous idea. These donuts and toppings were the best tasting I've ever had. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The shop was beautiful and family friendly. Seating indoors and out. Then you can go to the beach after or walk around. The quaint town with endless shops and charm.
This place is super cute! When we arrived, the lady asked if we have even been in before. She described the place like a Subway for donuts because they assemble the donut right there in front of you when you order. I got the lemon glaze with raspberry drizzle. It was delicious. Definitely recommend trying all the flavors!
Conveniently located downtown Fernandina Beach. They make plain donuts here, which are hot and crispy and the patrons order up the toppings they want on the donut. I went with a caramel ice and nuts and my wife with a chocolate ice. Those were good but a bit pricey at $3.50 each.
10/10 BEST PLACE EVER!!! I can't wait to come back. Clean, delicious and great service! Staff is amazing as well.
This is a fun place to grab a donut. Service was awesome. Not your ordinary donut but made to order. The donut is the same base but you get to pick your glaze and toppings. It takes a bit longer especially if you're ordering a dozen but worth the wait. The donuts are on the sweeter savory side which I love. The decor is nice and the seating is super comfy, such a great vibe.

As someone who is very particular about donuts, I was initially reluctant to try Vintage Donuts. However, I'm SO glad I gave them a shot! These are some of the best donuts I've had in a while. At Vintage Donuts, every donut starts with a vanilla cake base, and then you get to choose your toppings. The process is simple yet allows for endless creativity--you pick a glaze, a topping, and a drizzle. While the number of combinations can be a little overwhelming, you really can't go wrong with anything you choose. We tried a few different combos: -Chocolate with Reese's, chocolate, and peanut butter drizzle -Lemon blueberry icing with streusel -Chocolate sprinkles and sea salt drizzle -Glaze with cinnamon sugar I can't even pick a favorite--they were all fantastic! I loved this little donut shop in downtown Fernandina Beach, and I'll definitely be back. The location is convenient, the service is quick, and the donuts are absolutely delicious. If you're in the area, this place is a must-visit!
The food was delicious, but the best part was the recommendation made by Charity. She recommended maple glaze with bacon and brown sugar topping and it was amazing. So happy I accidentally stumbled across this place and the service and recommendations I received lived up to the hype. Plus the ambiance is so cute!
Yummy donuts. You get to customize your own donut. Icing, toppings, drizzles! This tell me FRESH! The donuts were nice and warm. I loved it and so did my family. Loved the style and the chairs. The two ladies were very kind in the front. Will come back!

They have suggested combinations, or you can be as simple or as extravagant as you wish! I got two with chocolate glaze, one with oreo typing and the other with coconut, two with caramel glaze- one with bacon & the other with coconut (I did chocolate drizzle like my favorite Girl Scout cookie). I also got one regular glaze with bacon and one vanilla glazed with oreo. Love at first bite!!! These donuts will charm your taste buds!
Small little shop that I almost drove past. Build your own concept leads to some tasty creations! Not a coffee shop, but they do have a self serve no frills coffee. Great ambiance and a great experience!

Vintage donuts is a donut shop located in a very cute part of town on Fernandina Beach. We were greeted by a friendly person behind the counter, who did a great job of explaining everything they had to offer and making suggestions as it was our first time there. The way they are different is they make a plain cake donut that you then can create however you like using their vast toppings bar. We created a vanilla frosted, chocolate with peanut butter drizzle, s'mores, Oreo and M&M with caramel drizzle. Everyone was able to order a flavor combination they preferred. We arrived early on a Sunday morning and the donuts were fresh and awesome. We got everything we wanted. The ambience was great. We've even got a seat outside so we could eat our donuts and people watch. read more

Stumbled on this place while on our last visit to Fernandina. I wasn't expecting anything that blew my mind but I was pleasantly surprised. When you walk in its has cute high bar seating and an ordering area. There is a section where you customize your doughnut. The staff were very helpful and patient as I took forever making my selections. There is a base doughnut and you choose your frosting or glaze and a topping. The glaze selections were chocolate, vanilla, strawberry, maple, and original glaze. We chose chocolate with oreo and peanut butter drizzle. First bite was amazing! The doughnut itself was a little crunchy on the outside and so soft on the inside. The chocolate frosting wasn't too sweet. I would have loved to eat 10 more. Make sure to stop in and give them a try. read more

When I first walked in I thought they must be closing soon because there were not many doughnuts in the case. They only keep a few examples on display and they will make your order fresh and per your request! Super friendly staff will take your order and put it all together quickly! Very nice quiet shop with both indoor and outdoor seating options to eat your delicious doughnut treats! This place will definitely satisfy your sweet tooth! read more
Great donuts that are made to order right before your growing eyes! The staff are friendly and helpful when you're not sure what's going to make a good combination of toppings. We stopped into Vintage Donuts for our kids while we were waiting for a table elsewhere for breakfast. We walked in not really knowing anything about it, but one of the girls greeted us and told us about the process. Our kids definitely thought it was fun to customize their own donut with icing, toppings, and drizzle! I didn't check out the price before we ordered and got to the counter. I was honestly expecting it to be expensive for the experience offered. I was shocked when our total for 6 donuts was just $12! Great deal for very yummy treats! read more

We visited the area for spring break and were told by a local shop owner to try this place out. So, on our way out of town, we decided to give it a try (we also love donuts). The decor channels a bit of nostalgia of the past and the bar fill off candy makes you feel like you're in an old pharmacy or soda shop. This gem of a Cafe did not disappoint! It was quiet for 930am, but it was raining outside. There is a very simple, straightforward menu posted on the wall & the lovely employees behind the counter were happy to explain the concept. Vanilla cake donut, pick your glaze, your topping, & drizzle. Simple as that. Brilliant!! We sat at the counter, being the only patrons inside, and were able to enjoy our donuts still warm. What a lovely bite of heaven it was! The donut was crispy on the outside, super soft on the inside. And the glaze was not too overpowering, so it was a perfect balance of flavor. Mine was chocolate glazed with graham cracker dust. We also did a strawberry with fruity pebbles which tasted as good as it looked. My kids indulged in chocolate with rainbow sprinkles, chocolate with mini m&m's, and chocolate with mini chocolate chips. Talk about sugar overload!! But they devoured them both so I think they were a hit. If you're in the area, do not pass up this shop. It will be some of the best donuts you ever eat. You can thank me later!! read more
