I found out that these people have been in business for about 7years, mostly working out of tents.
This cart is new to them (1week) so there still working out the bugs and finding there grove.
I love the cart concept and I think they will do well if the can ramp up the portion size compared to the cost. The breakfast burrito has a good flavor, lots of stuff eggs, real breakfast sausage (not frozen pizza sausage) cheeses and green onions which I thought added to the overall flavor. But $4.50 was about a $1.00 more then it was worth add some hash browns or something like that.
They need condiments like Sriracha sauce, Tabasco, secret aardvark or I hear he makes a BBQ sauce?
After talking to some other people, the biscuits and gravy is a fail. They need to either get a better quality canned gravy or learn how to make it themselves.
I hope that they read (and not take offense but learn from the) review. I like to see new ventures secede, but the only way they will is to learn from the reviews. That being said there will always be the sour apple out the you can't appease, so move forward.
I will reserve me review on lunch untill it is served, but I have hopes that it's better then breakfast.
Edit;
lunch I had the chicken rice bowl. Flavor was okay, but the rice was saturated with there sweet sauce. The first bite I got a bone fragment, which in my option is ok because it tells me the pull there own chicken (i hope). The chicken to rice proportion is off (but then rice is cheaper then chicken. I just ate all the chicken (the money I like to say) and what rice I wanted and threw the rest away, again the "no choice" of sauce ( as mentioned above)was a bummer. I did mention it to the owner and she said I'll put it in the list.
I'm excited to follow these guys and see how it grows. read more
