It was a sunnier and warmer day than expected on my visit to Seattle and as I walked by this shop, I thought "Yes, I could use some ice cream." Staff was welcoming and gave us some samples of flavors. Also got an espresso for a pick me up. Good flavors!

Flavorful and unique ice cream flavors! My favorite was the banana Nutella! Loved the small cup option. Friendly staff.

I went to Sweet Alchemy on a Sunday evening. I walked over to the store so I didn't have to worry about parking. There was a short line when we arrived, but the wait wasn't too long. The employees were very friendly & kindly let us try samples of the various options. I appreciate the unique & delicious flavors offered! After a difficult decision, I opted for a small cup of the darkside & the banana nutella crunch. This is my second visit to Sweet Alchemy & I was glad to see that their ice cream was as scrumptious as ever. I look forward to my next visit!

Definitely pricey and a splurge but is it worth it? Heck yeah! I love ice cream and gelato and I've even had Tillamook ice cream at the creamery in Oregon many times and this ice cream at sweet alchemy is some good ice cream. They do give samples if you have a hard time making up your mind like me lol which is very appreciated. They also allow half scoops! I ordered one scoop in a waffle cone and chose half scoop dark side(yummy chocolate) and half scoop Persian rose. So tasty. Dark side is everything I want in a chocolate ice cream, thick, dark chocolate, and oh so good. Persian rose is light in flavor but so tasty with hints of obvious rose and pistachio. Honestly dark side and Persian rose were the perfect combo. ....Yes, as you can see in my photo I am the person who bites into their ice cream lol mind ya business and don't judge...just a girl enjoying her ice cream :) I've walked by sweet alchemy so many times and it always has a line out the door, so I am sooo happy to have given it a try finally. Small interior so it's easier to sit out front at the nearby outdoor benches. Since it's pricey I won't visit often but it's definitely a place I could see myself stopping by on a hot summer day. I would recommend the dark side and Persian rose! So yummy!

One of the best ambiance ice cream shops I've been to! The place is well decorated and organized. I really liked the theme of the shop. There's not much seating here unfortunately The ice cream was good! I had their limited edition Makgeoli and it was sooo good. Sweet, tasty, and refreshing on a warm day. I had mine with brownies and chocolate syrup with it was it was pretty enjoyable. Service was great. Employees are very nice and helpful and they prepare the ice cream quickly. The pricing here is more on the expensive side though. That's the biggest con for me.

We were looking for a sweet treat nearby and stumbled on this place at the street corner. The inside is pretty small but has so many cute decorations and some unique flavors. Strawberry - I wanted something fruity and this tasted very fresh and was so creamy. The strawberry flavor came through and I enjoyed it despite the steeper price. We heard the staff explaining that they get their milk from a local farm and we wondered if that was what made a difference in the ice cream texture as well. I would come back to try some of their other flavors.

Ice cream craving but non dairy options! I finished while walking the area and it's delish! Homemade from my understanding. Cute little shop. Service was great.

Visited this adorable ice cream shop today, they had delicious unique flavors! Quick and friendly service with no wait :) They also have teas and coffees and cupcakes. I loved how you could get multiple flavors in their smallest sized cup.

Great tasting ice cream! Charming little corner cafe in the u-district with staple and seasonal flavors, and they have bakery items as well. Very nice employees at the front with welcoming demeanors and good recommendations. Definitely stop by if you are in the neighborhood and looking for a nice treat.

Love their ice cream! My husband and I went first tried their location in Cap Hill and saw this one! This location is great because you can sample one flavor. Service was friendly and patient while we made our choices. The inside is also a lot bigger and they have more options and things to choose from. We had the sweet cream and the Makgeolli flavor both very yummy!

In a word - Yummers! I have not come across such a wide variety of unusual flavors. But first the ambience. Charming, clean, with attention to detail. The staff are friendly and provide thorough information regarding flavor profiles. They do not offer samples, but will put several scoops into one cup. I tried black sesame (wow - so different!), Persian rose (a delicate perfume), and Sakura which was a tribute to the cherry blossom festival. The line moves quickly (even foe those of us WIP are indecisive) and pricing is fair. I'll be back!

Avoid getting the matcha latte, taste too milky. Their ice cream is usually alright but the coffee ice cream can be stronger.

Visiting family in SEA and the kids of the group had a craving for Ice Cream. This spot was one stop away on the subway from where we were staying. It's located in the University District. I'm assuming because it's close to the University of Washington???... This area has A TON of small, diversified dining options. Whatever you're craving, a walk up or down these multiple blocks and you're sure to find something that satisfies your cravings. Sweet or Savory. I was full from eating beforehand. I just went along for the walk. Upon arrival however, I couldn't help ordering a cookie sandwich after seeing my niece's lol! They also had such fun flavors, I had to get something. I opted for Aztec Chocolate & Makgeolli. I thought the scoops were small at first, but it was just the right amount for the cookie sandwich and took my capacity of being full from dinner to feeling overstuffed. I almost could not finish it. Such a cute spot. Wish I could have tried more flavors!

But honestly? The energy worked. The staff was moving with that calm, unbothered flow only seasoned baristas have. Friendly, attentive, and somehow keeping the line moving without making anyone feel rushed. Respect. Light was flooding every corner; that soft Seattle glow that makes you want to pull out your journal and pretend you live inside a cozy indie film. Ventilation was perfect. Temperature was perfect. Seating options? Abundant. And not the awkward wobbly kind either. This spot is built for lingering. I grabbed a latte, sat down, and immediately fell into an art journaling trance. There's something about being surrounded by curated shelves of books and cute little treasures that just unlocks your brain. It's the kind of place where you look up after ten minutes and somehow an hour passed. This was my first visit, but it's already on my list of "places I'll actually come back to and get work done." A rare category, honestly. If you're looking for a café that feels like a creative reset button; this is a great one.

I looked up their yelp page as well as their Instagram and knew I had to come just to get one of their lattes with their amazing foam art! They have a variety of waffles and sandwiches on the menu that seemed appetizing however because I got here after 3:30 the kitchen was closed but they have a variety of pre-made burritos and sandwiches that you could still buy. I love that they have a huge variety of non-dairy milks including soy which is my favorite. I wanted to get the turmeric latte however I mentioned that I couldn't wait to see the foam art and the Baristas told me that due to the light color of the latte, it would be difficult to see the foam art so I instead ordered the red velvet latte with soy and it was as delicious as it was cute! I also got the egg and sausage cheese burrito and it was chock full of eggs and sausage... very filling. The decor and seating options are plentiful upstairs and downstairs. They also have free pineapple infused water for guests to drink which I appreciate. Seems like a popular spot for UW students to do work as there are lots of outlets for their laptops.

I was surprised that the cake was so cheap around $4 but after the first bite, it tasted like it was from a Safeway bakery, which made me feel a bit scammed. The latte was a very light roast, so the coffee flavor was barely noticeable and it felt more like drinking hot milk. On the positive side, the servers were sweet and friendly. It took about 5-7 minutes to get our drinks, and the place was packed around 1:30 pm on a Saturday.
