I had such a great experience with this company from the first phone call. Daniel was awesome, he came out to my house and inspected each fire place/chimney, he was very thorough and honest. He did an awesome job and left no trace of dirt/soot behind. He even drove back out to my house a week later to drop off the correct size grate that I needed for two of my fireplaces and no additional charge. We are definitely customers for life! read more

An honest vendor who wouldn't take my money! I have a house in Fairbanks Ranch with 4 chimneys. I got a number of quotes and this one for multiple chimneys was very good I was happy to pay if they all needed cleaning. Turns out, none of them did. How would I have known without an honest man like Daniel. Not only does this vendor answer the phone, call when on the way, and arrive on time, but they also don't rip you off like so many other vendors do. The inspection was free, unlike so many others that charge to come out and sell you something you don't need. read more

I needed replacement doors for a 20+ year old prefab fireplace, and, after having had local stores try to sell me expensive custom-made doors rather than order them from the manufacturer for me, contacted Daniel. He was familiar with my unit, ordered the doors charging me basically his cost, and promptly and skillfully installed them for half of what the stores had quoted me. He didn't try to sell me anything I didn't need, not even a cleaning. Daniel more than lived up to his rave reviews, and will be my first call for any fireplace-related needs. read more

We have been using Sweep's Luck (Daniel) for several years. Daniel is reliable, professional, and thorough. If your fireplace or wood stove needs cleaning et Daniel is your guy. We cannot say enough wonderful things about Daniel and his quality of work! read more

Daniel came in told us up front what it would cost and set to work. He was very knowledgeable, pointed out problems he found, and educated us on how he could fix them and how long those fixes should last. He did not try to pad the bill. He provided us with a safe fix and we know what to do at a later date. read more

Highest recommendation. Prompt and excellent service on my gas fireplace when I needed it. Daniel was very friendly and knowledgeable. Price very reasonable compared with others I researched as well. Thanks Daniel! read more

Highly recommend Daniel - professional and honest!!! Daniel did not hesitate to tell me my fireplaces were in good condition and did not need cleaning. I wouldn't have known the difference and he could've charged me for full cleanings. Instead, he told me they were in good condition, but they needed damper locks in order to be in compliance with current code. He installed the lock on both fireplaces and still only charged me his basic service charge. I will definitely use Daniel for any future fireplace needs. read more

Although Sweeps was not able to help me, they were very prompt in getting back to my email and offering referrals for what I needed.

Daniel is excellent! He worked with my general contractor (Brown Dog Renovations) on a very complex project converting an old wood burning fireplace into a modern, see through natural gas direct vent fireplace. Hes a pleasure to work with, knows his products inside and out, and provides great customer service! read more

I've had Daniel clean the vents for my wood stove and dryer for the past several years. Very pleasant, knowledgeable and helpful. Highly recommend! read more

Daniel Swedo with Sweep's Luck has been maintaining our fireplace and dryer vent for several years now. He is always on time, professional, and very thorough. He inspects the upper chimney, lower box, and even looks over the fireplace grate for structural integrity. And, always provides us with a detailed description of his findings. I would HIGHLY recommend Daniel Swedo with Sweep's Luck. read more

I wish all companies have the customer service that Sweeps Luck does! He is always personable and reliable. Thank you Daniel!

Daniel came out and sweeped my chimney today. Great person and very honest. Can tell he is all about customer service. My dog even thought Daniel was her new best friend. He was very very clean throughout the whole process. He laid out covers for the floor and front of the fireplace to ensure nothing got dirty. After he was done with the sweep, he provided us info for gas logs and went through pros/cons so we could make an informative decision on keeping burning wood or going with gas logs. I highly suggest going with Sweep's Luck for your chimney needs. read more

Called Sweep's Luck, based on Yelp reviews and the info provided on their website, to set up a fireplace and chimney inspection/cleaning for our new home. Daniel provided a very reasonable quote and we scheduled a service call. He arrived within the scheduled time frame and covered his shoes when he came in our home. He was quick, efficient, knowledgeable and patient. He determined things were in good shape and the chimney didn't need cleaning. Our fireplace was set up with gas and I had been told by two general contractors it could cost thousands to convert it to wood burning. It took Dan a few minutes to explain that wasn't the case, and only a few more to convert it on the spot. He showed me how to safely light a fire and provided me a longer gas key. When he was done, I felt more educated and had more confidence that we could now enjoy our first fireplace safely. Dan was very respectful in our home, and I really appreciate how kind he was to my 8 year old son, who watched and chatted with him during the entire visit. At the end of it all, Daniel charged me a fraction of what I expected to pay for all the services provided. Nothing like finding an expert who does business ethically and with professionalism. read more

I had a great experience with this company. I recommend him highly and will call him for future needs. He returned my initial call quickly and made an appt for the following week ( not the usual 3 hour window). He was right on time. He was here for about an hour cleaning my dryer vent. He was thorough and I appreciate his attention to detail. My dryer would take 90 minutes to dry and now the time was cut in half! I can't believe I waited so long to call. read more

Daniel took care of the sweep of our very dirty fireplace very efficiently and was a very pleasant guy as a bonus. Will use them again.

Daniel was awesome! Helpful and honest. He also informed me of the pile of tree droppings he observed when on my roof, and even helped me bag them up. Talk about going the extra mile. Don't bother going with any other sweep...you won't be disappointed with Sweeps Luck. read more

Great service by Daniel! The dryer was taking a long time to dry the towels. It's been about 4-5 years when he last came out. My goodness, he got a whole kitchen trash bag worth of lint out. He was polite, efficient, and left the laundry room much cleaner than when he arrived. read more

It's hard to find a good contractor and even harder to find a Chimney Sweep that's just adequate. Daniel WAS FANTASTIC! Let me be clear. Even before he finished his work I was so impressed I cranked out this review. Daniel was not only professional, he respected the inside of my home, put booties on without asking and was detailed oriented, he was very personable and was a wealth of information about my 2 fireplaces. I will ONLY use this company from now on and I would say if you choose to use Daniel you will NOT be disappointed. All the reviews speak for themselves. read more

Daniel is very friendly and courteous; he did a fine job cleaning our chimney and dryer vent. (He didn't even charge us for the dryer vent because it was such a quick and easy job). He spent a fair amount of time on a stubborn gas cap in our fireplace, didn't charge us for the extra time, and installed a new gas line. He even brought a coloring book for our 3-year-old because Santa told him she likes to color. :) We heartily recommend him! read more

Excellent service. Dan had every opportunity to rip us off - we don't know the first thing about chimneys and had been told there was a problem with ours - but he assured us that all was fine and the chimney just needed a clean. He keep the carpet spotless and advised us on the proper operation of our two-way fireplace. He also showed the proper degree of appreciation for the cake and fruit I sent him home with. Great ethical guy. Highly recommended read more

I was very impressed with Daniel. He arrived promptly and was very thorough in his work. I admired the fact that he recommended that we put in artificial logs in one of our fireplaces as it has severe fire danger near by. That would eliminate his work but he put our safety first. IMPRESSIVE! read more

We started with a cleaning and quickly decided to change our fireplace to a gas log. Daniel was professional and honest. He order the log and had it installed a week later. Very efficient and tidy. We are loving the look and ease of our fireplace. Thanks Daniel! read more

I am sooo happy I chose Sweeps Luck to clean my chimney! It was long overdue. Daniel took the time to educate me on proper care and even what types of wood to choose to keep my fireplace clean and safe longer. He's a bit of a neat nut and left everything spotless which I didn't expect considering the mess I make when I clean the fireplace. The whole process was clean and quick, about an hour. He answered all my questions, was patient and very knowledgable. I'll have him back in 6 months for a free inspection to see how my fireplace is doing. My house is older and my fireplace needs some TLC. I use it a lot! I'm confident that Sweeps Luck is the right business to take care of it. The price was very reasonable and I would trust him with any repairs I may need in the future. He even clicked his heals for me as he left completing a great experience! read more

I would highly recommend this company. They are very knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. They did a thorough review of our chimney, answered any questions we had, and even provided a lot of useful information on things we didn't think of. Best part is they are honest! Our chimney did not require a sweep, and they didn't BS us into thinking it did just to get paid. Top notch guys! read more

Daniel from Sweep's Luck Chimney Sweep came over yesterday to clean my chimney. I got his name from a friend who highly recommended Sweep's Luck. Daniel was punctual, friendly, and professional. He explained what he did and answered all my questions without trying to rush out the door when the job was complete. I will definately call Sweep's Luck the next time and I would refer him to everyone who is overdo (like I was) to have their chimney cleaned. It can be a matter of life and death! read more
