Eric, Joel, and the Team have been nothing but responsive to our needs to take care of our Audis. I have an A4 3.0 manual and A5 3.2 manual that they have provided top notch service over the years. I have dealt with Eric directly for over 10 years. They are honest and have done only necessary work. My wife's A4 was in an accident which did nearly $10k in mechanical damage to the bottom of the car, stripping cables, pans, the ac condenser, slicing the radiator, etc. with no frame or body damage. Have used Swedish since we bought our Volvo new, after warranty. Swedish has been going strong for us since around 2006. Honest folks and they do a good job keeping us rolling along. Where shall I begin, shall I speak about how the vehicle should of never been cleared for inspection. The rear rotors were so bad they had grooves for ever ( and yes I have the evidence the rotors themselves) but that's not even the worst part the brake shoes only had 6 to 10 microns of pad left not the required 2/32's by state standards. That's not to mention when I pulled the rotors the emergency parking brake parts i.e. liners and broken shoe parts that fell out in my hands and ground. The worst of it is my 5 year old and family and friends when I could get it running which by the way they were trying to get running and put a battery in that was wrong group for the type of car as well under the 800 to 900 CCA required. But check this they ran a system check on electrical but failed to find that the alternator was burnt. By that I mean is I took it to an amish company I know that does excellent rebuilding work. And was informed that the armature and windings were burnt. Now you have to know all the details and that is I was only able to put 1500 miles from june 2018 till March 2019 when I was finally able to fix and replace all rotors and brakes, all new plugs which were not torqued properly, new ignition Coils, oh and replaced alternator. Etc, etc. Since I'm retired from Federal service I still made alot of aquaintences while putting in my 23 plus years. Perhaps the best way to handle this is take the parts and pictures to my friends at state department of vehicle inspections. I'm sure the stations inspection would come under scrutiny for sure. Oh and I have a sleeve full of aces up them. Like hey so called mechanics they kept suggesting I replace the throttle body. Question did you even think to replace the mass air flow Sensor I DID!!! And guess what it runs now. read more

I have had my 2001 Volvo wagon for 2 years now, and love the way it drives! But I also have had several needed repairs, I have tried the dealership, a small shop that "specializes" in Volvos, a few common repair places. I always had a bad feeling when I left them after a repair. This time I needed a throttle body replaced, not a cheap repair. But after speaking with Eric, I felt this is the place. It took a little longer than expected, but Eric was always on top of keeping me up to date, they provided me with a loaner which was great! Now it runs like it did when I bought, "glides" down the road. I have finally found a place a I feel good about getting my car serviced at. I would recommend them to anyone needing service! Swedish Motors is the best of the best. They are friendly, courteous, knowledgable and honest: a winning combination when it comes to auto repairs. They worked around my busy schedule and got me in. Their repairs were efficient, timely and well-done. I never felt targeted for any unnecessary 'add-ons' that are so common at places like Pep Boys (where I was totally unsatisfied with my experience). Their facilities are very nice and clean: they had a Keurig with coffee and a basket of snacks. I had a few hours worth of car repairs so I sat on the comfortable furniture and was able to get my work done. And fortunately there is not a TV blaring infomercials but instead a quiet, pleasant waiting area with plenty of magazines and refreshments. I brought my Volvo here for a starting issue. They kept the vehicle for 6 days (no one offered me a loaner vehicle). Eric called me and told me the problem was fixed. I paid $300+ for the repair and inspection. After driving 50 minutes to pick up my vehicle, it wouldn't start! I left it in their parking lot and left an after-hours voicemail. No one bothered to call me the next day. I had to follow up for an update. I was very disappointed in their customer service and they certainly do not stand behind their repairs. I will be sending my Volvo back to the dealership from now on. I didn't see any benefit of 30 years of Volvo repair experience their technician claims to have. I would not recommend this repair facility. read more

Swedish Motors has preformed work on my vehicle many times over the years. They are amazing to work with -an oddity in the auto business - honest, fair, knowledgable, and reasonably priced!!! If you have a Volvo, Saab, or MINI you need to come meet these guys... they will become your go-to shop. They are extremely knowledgable and have the same diagnostics as the dealer and offer OEM parts. Pricing is fair and they have set prices for some jobs. Customer service is superb... always courteous and informative. Loaner vehicles are provided for services scheduled in advance. I can't say enough good things about this shop. We haven't had any problems with the car as we frequently use Swedish Motors for our regular service needs. They are always trustworthy and help us figure out what we need and what we don't.
