Heard about this place from an Instagram reel, they had very fast service and great food. I tried the croissants (didn't get picture) and they were great... didn't warm tho which was the only complaint. I loved the pesto sandwhich (but cheese slices were a bit overwhelming and not enough pickle. Parking was a nightmare but I would love to come back when it's not as busy! Otherwise good brunch spot with outside seating (but seating is limited). Bathroom was clean and the whole place was very well kept

I dropped by on my first day in Austin. I've never been to Austin before, but they were located really close to my hotel when I got hungry for breakfast. They had a few people come in to grab quick bites and pick up mobile orders. I ordered for takeaway and ate my food at my hotel. They got my order out quickly, so I didn't wait very long. I got a smoked turkey sandwich, an iced sweet tea and a cherry Danish. Everything was actually quite delicious. The sandwich was filling, the sweet tea was tasty and the cherry Danish was the perfect dessert to top off my little brunch ensemble. Definitely would be back if I was nearby!

Such kind and attentive personnel! Had requested a pastry that wasn't too sweet & the choc croissant was wonderful. After requesting it toasted, it was warmed and I guess the "everything bagel" seasoning was cross contaminated into the croissant but it wasn't a huge deal. I just swept the few seasonings off. The Nutella mocha latte was not too sweet either! A yelp review had me intrigued & it was well worth it. Decaf available :)

I believe I've seen the South 1st location be hyped on social media, but this location was more centrally located between where we were leaving from (Rowing Dock) & the next activity (LBJ Library). I wouldn't say this place is "bad", but it also isn't stand out. Just a cute lil bakery/coffee shop. I bet a great spot for those who live/work nearby for a quick weekday lunch bite. The line was busy throughout our visit but never reached out the door. It's tricky because everyone likes to wait for their orders in the area where the indoor bar seating is, even if they don't stay there. We made it work! My cold brew was good, as was the pesto chicken salad sandwich I got. Even though it was white bread, it felt refreshing & healthy & not soggy. I caught my eye on the sprinkledoodle cookie - love sprinkles but doodles less so. We also got lucky with street parking but can see how it's a hassle with the construction project going on. I wonder if the South 1st location has a more extensive brunch menu, and maybe it'd be better?

Very friendly service! Decent bagel breakfast sandwich, but the chicken and egg salad they sell in containers are incredible! Very small inside, with not much seating so it fills up fast and gets a little claustrophobic. Overall worth a try !

Good food and lots of outdoor seating. We had to sit outside because there was a family inside (the indoor seating is tight and a bit crowded) and their toddler was crying and screaming incessantly, to the point that we heard it every time someone would open the door (this went on for almost thirty minutes). The service at the counter where we ordered was average at best; perhaps they were irritated by the aforementioned toddler. The server who brought the food to our table was excellent. I got an oat milk latte and the lox plain bagel, also soft, warm, and delicious.

Swedish Hill was highly recommended to me, so I was so excited to try! I got the ham and cheese croissant. It was okay, but nothing to rave about. I wish there was more cheese. I would go again and try something different, as they had a lot of cool options. The line was long, so be prepared to wait a little bit. The employees were very nice and patient. Swedish Hill is a great place to eat outside. They have lots of seating outside (on the side of the restaurant and behind it a couple feet down). The vibes were immaculate on a beautiful sunny day!

Swedish hill is either an absolute hit or a flop every time I come here. I'm not sure the reasoning -- but either the pastries are fresh and flaky, or stale and crunchy lol. Maybe it just depends on who is working, however, I feel like if I'm spending $6 for a pastry it should be pretty consistent quality. The service is always great and everyone is very kind. The place is quaint & cute, I did wish they had more seating outside or anywhere near by, but it's a cute spot!

It's not bad. We went for lunch on a weekend and there was no wait and table for us outside. I thought our tab was absolutely ridiculous with two lunch and two coffee costing us $80. At that rate, I could just go to a sit down brunch spot. It's very cutesy - I just think the prices are way too high for me to be a regular.

This has been the first Swedish Hill experience and I really wanted to check out this location because it looked super cute!! The place is very dreamy. It has been decorated beautifully. The parking could be tough, but sometimes you might get lucky with their parking or on the street. I've tried the ginger lemonade, the chai latte, and ginger noodles (on the salad display). All of them have been delicious!! I also did order a side of sourdough, but for the price and what you get, I don't think it's worth ordering. Ordering is quick and the the orders come out pretty quickly. It has an overall great vibe to it. Perfect for an afternoon hangout with friend(s). I would def give it a try.

Swedish Hill has multiple locations around the city for you to experience a nice lunch, work-from-home day, or just a meet-up with friends. They serve typical cafe food, tons of pastries, pasta, sandwiches, and salad so it's a good lunch option. I typically stop in to get one of their packaged meals to go -- the chicken salad with a bag of chips is my favorite thing to get. Staff always does their best to keep the line moving, so when they notice me with food in my hand already they just come check me out. I've only been to the West 6th and S 1st locations, each of these locations doesn't have the best parking. West 6th parking is HORRIBLE and S 1st is a step above. If you live or work nearby you definitely want to walk or maybe hitch a scooter. The West 6th location is very small and only offers a few tables outside. The S 1st location is my favorite. There's plenty of seating inside and a nice-sized patio.

    Chicken Pesto Sandwich

The sandwich was amazing, no doubt about it, but paid nearly 16 dollars for this sandwich. If you are trying to get your moneys worth, this might not be the best place but flavor wise it's amazing. The inside smells really good and the service was exceptional!

So I decided to stop by and get one at Tuccis! let me just start off by saying that they load the subs up!! The portions are huge for about ~$13 a sub so that's a plus. Ordering and checking out was quick and service is no frills but it's nice to see they remember locals orders. I ended up dining in which was partially why my rating is a bit lower. I would recc taking out since there wasn't anyone bussing the tables so it was a bit untidy. I was really excited about the sandwich but the cuts of meat were a bit tough (prosciutto) and I probably should've gotten white bread since the wheat kinda fell apart. I'll have to comeback and try a diff combo.

The brisket, pastrami, and cheesesteak sandwiches are all incredible and packed with flavor. The latkes are also a must-order and make a perfect side. OVERVIEW: I tried to pick up my online order from Mum Foods, but turns out someone stole my order…read more Bummer, but whatever - this is something that's usually an easy fix. We're human - shit happens, and mistakes are inevitable. But it's how people react that speaks volumes. **What surprised me was how unnecessarily rude the Mum employee was about it.** Orders are left on Mum's counter for DoorDash, Toast, Grubhub, and Seamless customers and delivery drivers to grab without a Mum employee checking order confirmation emails. If someone steals another customer's order, the *normal* response is to confirm I'm really the person who placed the order, then say "Oh sorry about that, looks like someone else took your order. We'll get you squared away with a replacement ASAP. In the meanwhile, could you please contact DoorDash to let them know?" ISSUE: Instead, the employee expediting orders was crazy defensive and rude about a situation that was no way my fault. TIMELINE: - I placed a pick up order via DoorDash at 12pm. I arrived at Mum's pickup area at 12:15pm. - When I tell the employee expediting orders my name, he says "Yeah, it was already picked up," and walks away. - When he returns, I explain I'm the person who placed the order, but I didn't pick it up. - The man says, "Like I SAID, it was already picked up," so I hold up the email on my phone, and say "I can prove I placed the order, but I don't have my food." - He replies, "Yeah, the order was sitting there for a long time. Someone already picked it up." - I tell him "I don't know what I'm supposed to do with this information. I paid for my order, but I don't have any food," and he tells me I need to contact DoorDash. - I tell him "I'll contact DoorDash, but they can only give me a refund. I'd like my food?" Only then does he tells the staff to get me a new order and tells me "LOOK, we're getting you your food." UPDATE: Mum Foods Management replied with a bizarre comment. Mum claimed I was 90 minutes late picking up my order, saying I picked up my order at 2pm. - So which is it? Someone stole my order OR was I too late picking it up? - Their rebuttal may explain why the employee felt justified in being so rude - he incorrectly thought I was late picking up my order. Either way, there's no reason to be rude. - I was NOT 90 minutes late (I have Ring footage of leaving my house at 12:10pm for Mum Foods and returning home at 12:37pm with my order in hand), but Mum's argument is moot either way. If I were hours late, the order should still be there for pick up because the business is supposed to check names. "A 1 star review really hurts a local business like us and I hope you reconsider" - If you don't want a 1 star review, respond with a sincere apology, and don't be rude to customers or lie in your response. "For what its worth we prepared your food twice and obviously lose money in a situation like that" - If you don't want to lose money by preparing an order twice, you should confirm names when people pick up orders.
