Swarm and Mario have taken care of our bug issues at our home for the past 7 years or so. As someone who is highly bug phobic Mario has always been understanding, courteous and reassuring. I really appreciate his calm kindness and not getting impatient with me as I basically freak out about whatever bugs we are dealing with. And the treatment he uses has been effective over the years - he eradicated a winged ant infestation for us where they were coming out of the electrical sockets, vents, etc. They never came back after multiple rounds with Mario. He is also very knowledgeable and has given us great advice for keeping other bugs at bay. Although this review is long overdue I just wanted to post a note of gratitude for Mario and his team. read more

SWARM is an awesome pest control company that has taken care of my past three houses. Their non-toxic (to humans) does a great job keeping insects out of the house. They never forget an appointment, they show up on time, and they are very thorough- even to the point of removing spider egg sacks under patio furniture. They remove cobwebs before spraying too. Mario & Lori, the owners, run this family owned business. I've been using SWARM for about ten years and I definitely recommend them to you! read more

Took care of a bee hive problem in a backyard shed 8x12 at a competitive rate. I cleaned out the area and made it readily available for them to work. He and his partner were professional and personable. They were in and out quickly and did a great job cleaning up the site afterwards. He is responsive and even came out the same day as contact was made! I would definitely recommend their services. read more

A few months ago we had a HUGE flea issue. Both our cats had fleas and so did our house. We tried everything: - bathing the cats, dosing them with flea med every month, flea comb, washing their bedding, dry flea shampoo. - vacuuming the house, washing all our bedding and EVERY SINGLE ITEM OF CLOTHING, fogging the place 3x. NOTHING worked. We were relieved when our landlord had her pest control company treat our house twice, but to no avail, the fleas were STILL there. That's when I called Swarm after reading about their 90 day policy for another retreating if it doesn't stick the first time. Well they did an amazing job because after ONE visit from them our fleas are gone, and I'm writing this review FOUR MONTHS LATER! * we did vacuum 5x a week after treatment as well* Thank you Swarm, for making our house livable again and getting rid of truly the most annoying pests!! read more

I've never had fleas in my house before, and naturally the minute I take my dog off his anti-flea meds, my house gets infested... And I mean INFESTED. I put him on meds right away, washed him with anti-flea shampoo, and go to my local pet store where I bought flea spray. That didn't work. Next was the fogger... That didn't work either, just made them angry. Threw in the towel after wasting close to $100 in product and called Swarm Pest Control. Mario was professional, courteous, friendly and punctual. I really can't say enough about the excellent service. As you can guess, my flea problem was solved thanks to Mario and his company. My dog and I now enjoy bite-free evenings and my girlfriend isn't afraid to come spend the night anymore! WINNING! read more

Responsive when called for service and friendly. Suggest getting monthly service to control pests that sometimes get out-of-hand.

Found this company via Yelp Called and booked right away after talking to Mario -- had a good feeling and he was patient with answering all my questions, and flexible with price matching with my previous sprayer. Paperwork, booking, transaction were all over the phone. Such a quick and painless process. I appreciate the efficiency. read more

We've used Swarm for regular spraying for insects over the years and have had a great experience. For some reason they have been unresponsive in recent weeks. I have called and left several messages and have not gotten a reply. We set up a rodent trap a few months ago and were supposed to call back to have them check it and pick it up, but they have not been reachable. It's disappointing. EDIT: Mario, the owner, replied and resolved the issue right away. Apparently my messages were going to an old number and he wasn't getting them. Appreciate his prompt attention to the issue. read more

The owner is amazing!! We've been working with him for awhile on our properties and he's always helpful and knowledgeable on what he's doing. We recently moved, and along with the new house we also inherited the bugs that called our new house home. Having used Swarm before for ants at our previous home, and being super impressed, we called again for help. Derek was at our house less than 72 hours later. He showed up on time, was super friendly, listened to my description of our problem, and not only addressed our concerns, but told us additional things to look out for. He sprayed inside and outside of our house and let me know that if we were still seeing bugs 10-14 days later, to call and Swarm would come back and spray again at no additional cost. I'm happy to report, we are 7 days out and I haven't seen any bugs. I will continue to use Swarm, Derek was professional, helpful and did great work. Also, the prices are competitive. This was my second time using Swarm and it is 2 for 2! Thanks, Derek! read more

AMAZING SERVICE FOR ALMOST TWO YEARS NOW! Mario is STILL terrific at responding quickly. They're always able to fit me in, and the techs are super friendly. We gathered several quotes to get rid of rats that were making themselves at home under our house and in the garage. Nicole- super helpful! Although we hope we never see rats again, if we do, this is the company to go with! We are so thankful! Thank you, Ellie and Boris read more

Mario was awesome. Since I have dealt with my fair share of shady businesses--and who hasn't?--his roach/ant control and honest business sense was a breath of fresh air. I was really impressed from the start. He is a family man with a good heart, and I can't imagine him striving for anything but a five. I also can't imagine going anywhere else for that reason. The first time that I called him was due to the ubiquitous ants, and maybe it's because I wasn't here as frequently, but we didn't need to have him back for at least a year. How's that for fair and effective? Fast fw. to this crazy weather and I am now booking him on a more regular basis. He did not try to upsell me to do everything at once, even if I wanted all of the chemicals I could naively handle, and that was impressive. As soon as I called him, he called me back immediately and was available in a timely manner, in spite of his popularity. This was also a breath of fresh air compared to the competitors I called who all promised to call back and then were never available! Even his lone one star review is not indicative of the actual service as he did everything in his power to rectify things, and the final results are in the other reviews. I know because I asked! So look no further and call Mario! You will remember him by this creepy little mouse picture, the bee on his truck, and his unique name! *Note* if we have termites next I will also take his recommendations. read more

Longtime Yelper but first time reviewer. I was so impressed with Mario's service and work, that I simply had to write this review. My wife and I had just moved into our new home and saw a German cockroach (the bad ones, apparently) the morning after our first night. We were horrified. I called Mario at around 8pm hoping to leave a message and get a call the next morning. He called back within 5 minutes and spent 30 minutes explaining the difference between various cockroach species and how to deal with them. He came by the very next day. He was on time (early in fact) and after examining the home concluded that we did not have a cockroach problem and rather than spraying the place and leaving bait, he recommended we save some money and just leave bait, which would do the trick. His honesty was refreshing and much appreciated. If that wasn't enough, Mario went above and beyond the call of duty. The day he came over he noted a smell under our kitchen sink and called me the very next day (and the day after) saying that he asked around and he may know what the possible cause might be. He recommended I contact a professional to have it taken care of, which I plan to do. As for his work, its been a week so far and no roaches or ants (which we also sprayed for) in sight. read more

Mario is pretty awesome. I finally decided to call someone after seeing a cluster of round, white, spiky things outside my window. I googled it and found that they were brown widow spider eggs. Ewwwwwwww. I called another place with many great reviews. They quoted me $175 with 60 days guarantee, and I mentioned I had a few wasp nests, and they quoted me$195 w. 1 yr guarantee. The earliest they could come was 6 days later. Mario picked and was nice and super informative. The price is based on the size of your house. He quoted me $160 less the$25 yelp discount. So $135 with 90 days guarantee! I mentioned the wasp nests and he said he could do it for free if there weren't that many and he could easily reach them. Awesome! He was able to come the next day, sprayed for the spiders and ants (for free), and knocked down a few wasp nests (which ended up being inactive nests) and didn't even charge me for it. He even gave my 16 month old son a little coloring book with crayons. So nice! Mario is very professional and just awesome. I would recommend him to all my friends and family. read more

I found Swarm Pest Control on Yelp and have had my house sprayed at least 4 times since. These people treat me like family!!! My work schedule is AWFUL and they have been more than patient and understanding when I have rescheduled last minute, and when I have called them desperate in a BUG emergency! I found a huge bug in my kitchen this morning and I actually TEXT the picture to Mario and he called me immediately to help and ease my worry!!! He goes above and beyond every single time! After finding a few roaches in our home my wife called this company. Technician came to our Santa Ana home, and after explaining to me what he'd be doing to treat our house. Then he continued to explain the reason why Santa Ana notoriously has a roach problem, his reason was the following: "Hispanic people work in kitchens and these german roaches travel with them back into their homes" and that's why Santa Ana has a roach problem. I kindly asked him to leave my home. He had no real remorse or sense, that these type of comments are super problematic and that he is in a customer service industry where everything you say to a customer has implications. The pride he felt, as a white man. That he didn't do anything wrong is the perfect example of white man ego. And even felt as if he was the one that got offended when I asked him to leave. I can't tell you whether or not the services they offer are good or not. Maybe they do a good job with pest control. But this technicians customer service. Was poor and offensive. They will not get my business knowing that there are many more companies in the are that will probably have more sense in treating their customers right. read more
