Despite already accepting responsibility, they refused to refund or properly replace the heater they damaged. After weeks of back-and-forth, delays, and excuses, they finally offered to replace it -- but with a cheaper, off-brand heater, not the brand and quality of the original equipment they broke. To make matters worse, their chemical mismanagement caused extremely high alkalinity, which resulted in guests' hair turning green -- a clear sign of improper water balance and potentially damaging to skin and hair. This is especially alarming for anyone who hosts guests or values safety. The lack of accountability, professionalism, and urgency throughout this process has been exhausting and IS STILL NOT RESOLVED. This happend in August! If you value your equipment, your guests, or your peace of mind: RUN. I would never trust CK Pools again and strongly caution anyone considering their services.

I brought this to their attention and had no response, so I had to direct the crew to correct it and remove the duct tape and apply silicone. They broke our gas line and we had to call 911, the work crew continued working despite an active gas leak, which is dangerous for everyone. There were many other communication issues on top of tbis I won't dive into. But when I build my next pool at my new property I would not use the Pool Man again. If you decide to go with them, you will need to watch all the work like a hawk and be prepared to be assertive with issues until they are resolved correctly. The process won't be "smooth." When I brought this up, they told me the impeller was broken and may have caused the failure -- yet that wasn't mentioned at all during the original work. When I questioned it, I was told, "There was nothing wrong with the impeller... or something would have been said." That's not an explanation -- that's avoiding responsibility. I was also charged another $500 just to replace the failed motor. And even though I was told previously that the pool lights were replaced, I was later told that they were not, and the GFCI was the issue -- so which is it? When I raised my concerns, the owner replied in an extremely defensive and aggressive tone, accused me of "talking mess," said it was "pathetic" that he had to explain anything, and told me not to contact them again -- even though I was just asking for clarity and warranty documentation. Instead of taking accountability, they blamed a former employee for the quality of work and took no ownership of how I was treated as a paying customer. I have since changed pool services, and I've had a far better experience elsewhere. Save yourself the stress, money, and disrespect -- avoid this company.
