Always a great vibe here. Happy hours are 5-8. Menu changes more frequently than I'd like but the staples have stayed to the most part. It gets pretty packed and busy at night

Confession: I had to stop myself from coming here weekly. Another Confession: I'll be coming back weekly. Listen, as long as Swamp Bar keeps that happy hour, the r&b music, and the YAKAMEIN they will forever have a happy customer out of me. The Yakamein is the best I've gotten outside of New Orleans. The happy hour is great because it's an actual happy hour with great prices AND beverage options. Oh, and I alter my Yakamein by removing the shrimp and adding extra marinated eggs. It's the "go-to" spot in Memphis right now and it's only going to keep getting better since the sun has come out to play. I've been patronizing this business for a little over a year now and I can say that they are consistent and so are the customers. The only issue I have is with the plumbing; there's a stench assuming because the building is "vintage" but the staff does what they can to cover it and after a while, no one really notices it. (But I do) I'm sure it will get fixed soon so I'll be upgrading my rating when it happens.

Date Night! Everything was amazing, and the vibe was New Yorkish, colorful, cute, and quaint! I loved it! We ordered drinks--The Ritual, Eve's Downfall, dirty martini, and Joe's Old Fashioned--and food: Korean Wings, Korean Braised Short Rib, and Fried Rice with crawfish and pork belly!! The service was fast and attentive!

If you're looking for a killer happy hour in Memphis, Swamp Bar is where it's at! Their drink specials run until 8 PM (the latest in town!), and the deals are A+! though heads up, they don't do food specials.. sad face. I kicked things off with a house margarita (solid choice), followed by a vodka Sprite, while my boyfriend went for a $3 Stella. We planned on grabbing food anyway, so we ordered the Creole Rangoon and the fried rice with crawfish & pork belly--both were chef's kiss! Would absolutely get them again. You get 5 Rangoon, and because we told them we were sharing the fried rice, they even split it for us! gosh, so nice! Now, a couple of things to note: No parking lot, but you can find street parking right on the same road. It gets BUSY. We snagged the last indoor table, and it was loud--so if you're looking for a chill, quiet night, this might not be your vibe for the night. Overall, great drinks, great food, and a fun atmosphere! Just be ready for the crowd.

Coming from St. Louis and I read the reviews- this IS the best happy hour in Memphis! Prices unbeatable for the quality and quantity of drink. Their bar chips are delicious and their fries appear to be hand cut! Didn't get photos of our snacks because we ate them so fast. The dip with the bar chips was scrape the bowl good. My husband and I took advantage of the patio. We had a very friendly server with fast service of drinks and apps.

Small restaurant, very cute! Hip hop music playing quietly in the background, and the place quickly filled up by 5pm. We came during happy hour and ordered the $5 margaritas which were excellent. The service was mid & so was the food. The Korean wings were a bit soggy but had a decent flavor. The roast was just roast. Overall not bad but nothing to write home about.

My birthday is tomorrow, so decided to have a drink this evening and try a new spot. Super cute decor and nice tables and seats. We had the avocado toast, Swampburger, fries and some margaritas. First, ask for the margs spicy, they are fantastic. Hubs loved the swampburger and fries. Avocado toast was ok? But I have some thoughts. It's not toast. They use po' boy bread, which is nice, but thick. That was fine, but then they smother it in sweet chili sauce to call it Thai. Don't drown your fresh ingredients with sugar! Just put some fresh, thin slices of jalapeño, maybe some micro greens or more fresh herbs, and sesame seeds. The sugary chili sauce is ok in a tiny amount, but the drown is bad. The fries are good, but could be crispier. I think the oil isn't hot enough. Overall, we would come back here! Service was fantastic and the margs are delish.

This little gem is located right next to Second Line in Midtown. The interior is very cute! We came here for dinner on a Friday evening and they weren't that busy so we were seated right away. We ordered the Crawfish & Crab Rangoon and Korean Red Sauce Wings for apps, both were delicious! The wings were my favorite. For my entree I got the Crawfish Pad Thai, I was taken back by how "saucy" and creamy it was at first but the flavor was fantastic and I ended up liking it a lot. My husband got the Yakamein and boy was it salty! The broth reminded me of birria stew that you dip your tacos in, while the flavor was nice but it was way too salty. Our friend got the Pork Belly Banh Mi, the pork was well marinated and very tender, not as fatty as I expected which I liked. Overall it was a great experience and I'm looking forward to trying out their brunch next time!

The food and the ambience is absolutely brilliant. You'd never guess walking up to it that it's so gorgeous inside. Great music played over an excellent sound system. We loved our entrees - desserts were honestly just okay, but the entrees make it a non-negotiable that you have to go here for dinner. One weird thing - they don't have coffee. It would be a great ending to a great meal.

Service and ambiance are top tier. Bartenders and servers are very attentive, fast, careful, and patient. They have that in the bag kudos to that team. I've only had two dishes there and recommend the wings no matter what! They have one of the better happy hours in town, but the bar fills FAST! I popped in for a guest bartender and had a custom cocktail or 2. Gone on over, ya hear me?!

Great vibes. Just keep music down to volume where people can have conversation. Remember, its not a club but lounge/bar.

The service was great and the drinks were even better. We tried the Mai Tai, porn star martini , frosted Jake to name a few. The star of the show for me was the Frosted Jake. It was very refreshing surprisedly. And a huge shoutout to our bartender - I believe her name was Max!!!! Keep her on board. She is everything and so nice. Don't miss this spot at all.

The place is small but inviting. The music playing through the speakers was like they had my spotify synced. All of my favs were playing. (Shoutout to whoever was respnaible for Melanie Fiona album The Bridge being in rotation. That's one of my favs). We were all pretty hungry so we ordered The Cameo Cheesburger and fries. It's a really nice sized burger and definitely will help soak up the "liquor" lol. From 4-7pm you get half off selected classic cocktails. I started with a French 75 and it definitely did its job. There is a cocktail on the menu called Rage Quit ($10) which simply states secret and danger. Well we decided to all try that and let's just say the danger snuck up on us lol I also had a Cosmo which was delicious as well. By this time we are felling really good but need to use the bathroom. We then discover there is a photobooth in the back area. It was pretty comical trying to get all 3 of us in the frame. We chatted with the staff afterwards to let them know that the we had a great experience. If you're looking for a nice happy hour spot, I highly suggest Cameo.

But when you walk back to the bar, it's super white and lit. It looks beautiful! We talked to the owner for a little bit, he was super nice and super friendly. My drink was good. Customer service was pretty good as well. We got there too late to where there was no food, but that's not why we were coming. This is a nice little hidden gem. That's the way the owner described it!
