Bomb! My friend and I went here to have lunch and it was Bomb. Can never go wrong with ceviche and we also had a sushi roll that was so good, I thought it was decent priced for being in the beach. The parking is definitely not great, so have to take that into consideration. The service was fine and mostly the food was freaking delicious. We loved the outdoor seating and would prefer to sit outside than inside every time, I recommend it!

I'm a big fan of poke bowls in general, so I tried the salmon bowl here because it came with ají sauce. The flavor was unique, with a nice kick from the ají, and I really enjoyed it; I'd definitely order it again. Service was friendly and welcoming. The location itself is small, low-key, and a bit unassuming, but it was good for a quick stop.

Stopped by this restaurant on my way out of Miami. The reviews were good, so I had high hopes. Reviews in a touristy area can be tricky and this place was one that had misleading reviews. The concept is cool but the food was not executed well. The flavors of each dish were missing something. If it wasn't spice, it was salt. The salmon tiradito was odd. The sauce looked like it had been there for a while and it was flavorless. The red hot sauce(not siracha) was bland, it was pepper with nothing added, the ceviche lacked lime and salt, and the Peruvian fried rice was lack luster. I wouldn't recommend this place for anything other than sushi roll. The roll I ordered was tasty but it's not worth it to come here for that when there are other sushi places around. The inside wasn't too inviting either. They let dogs in the restaurant which was odd to me, and they used a few tables in the front for storage and as office space. I was not a fan on this place. The two star rating is being generous because the service was decent.

Two rolls, one was the one with plantain and I'm blanking on the other! Both really good

Absolutely love coming for SuViche's suuuuper reasonably priced happy hour (food and drinks!). I also very much appreciate that they are never stingy with it (some places will sneakily be like oh sorry! You're 2 minutes past 7 and didn't put in your order). They will let you know to keep an eye on the time and generally do a quick sweep right before it's over at 7. Their ceviche is super classic and delicious, lots of flavor and always tastes fresh. Their tuna nachos are SO good..also fresh with a slight sweetness from the Eel sauce. I got the spicy tuna roll and didn't love...it was a little..soggy? Felt a little like grocery store sushi. But I've had other rolls in the past and really enjoyed, so worth trying if you're not picky! We got the mushroom ceviche once and it was AMAZING, but they seemed to have changed the recipe or preparation and now it seems to just be ceviche with mushrooms in the place of the fish (it used to be chopped up super small and already doused in all the sauces). I definitely preferred it before! The staff is super nice and attentive. Their outdoor seating isn't great because the sidewalk is narrow and the street can get busy with the trolley passing. I will call out one thing I didn't like, that wasn't intentional, but it still made me question their practices. They brought us the wrong plate and we started to pick at it, unsure if it was what we had gotten, and the waitress ran back over and said it wasn't ours. We were like oh no! Sorry we took a bite (I grabbed a plantain off the dish and my friend grabbed one of the corn pieces). She took it back to where they put the plates for them to take to tables and the other waitress grabbed it and took it to a new table...didn't love that. They should have made them a new one and either let us keep it if we wanted it or tossed the original. The good news is you can see the kitchen and where they grab the plates from, so you can keep an eye to know that it won't happen to you! I think it was in the confusion of the moment, but I still wish they had a little more care.

This is one of my top favorite spots on South Beach for having lunch. The restaurant's concept is mainly focused on a variety of Peruvian ceviches and Japanese sushi rolls. Besides that, the menu also offers a good selection of starters, poke bowls, and traditional Peruvian mains. Right away, I want to mention that all the fish here is always extremely fresh and flavorful! I personally come to this restaurant mainly for the ceviches and sushi rolls. A great thing about these dishes is that almost all of them are available in two portion sizes - half or full. What I usually do is order a half portion of ceviche and a half portion (4 pieces) of sushi rolls, which go perfectly together and fill me up completely. My absolute favorite ceviche was the Mahi Mahi Mexicano (I just asked to remove the avocado) - the flavor was fantastic for me, so refreshing! Unfortunately, a few months ago the restaurant decided to remove it (along with making other changes to the menu), which is such a shame because it was really delicious. Hopefully, they bring the Mexicano back in the future. I also like the Original Mahi Mahi ceviche, which is very tasty too and definitely worth ordering. I've tried almost all of the sushi rolls on the menu, and every single one of them was super flavorful and delicious. But my absolute favorites are the Miami, Truffle, and TNT rolls - amazing flavors! The restaurant itself isn't very big; often during lunch hours it's fully packed - a couple of times I even had to wait about 5 minutes for a table. I like the restaurant's design - simple but pretty. The entire place is always spotless, and all the furniture and tableware are in very good condition. The restaurant also offers a few outdoor two-person tables. The staff here are always nice and friendly. The kitchen team always did a quick job preparing food - even when the place was packed, my dishes arrived within 15 minutes. The prices on the menu are on the higher side, but mostly reasonable. A little trick: if you order a half portion of ceviche and a half portion of sushi rolls, your check is around $20, and it's the perfect amount of food to get full while enjoying two different dishes. Otherwise, a full ceviche is $18 (not that much bigger than a half), and a single sushi roll can cost around $18 as well. The business accepts all major credit cards and Apple Pay, which is a plus. What I don't like is that an 18% tip is automatically added to the bill. I find this practice wrong and kind of scammy around Miami. In conclusion, I highly recommend visiting SuViche if you're looking for a place to eat on South Beach. Trust me, your meal here will be fresh, healthy, and delicious!

    Butcher Roll

Had a great fast-casual meal at Suviche. We ordered a bunch of plates to share: the bang bang shrimp, lomo saltado spring rolls, butcher roll, Serrano roll, and fish ceviche with both the signature Suviche sauce and the ají amarillo sauce (one of the ceviches came with jalea). Everything was pretty good, but the ají amarillo ceviche was easily the star of the show. Honestly, next time we'd skip the variety and each just get two full plates of the ají amarillo ceviche with jalea. The spot had a relaxed fast-casual vibe, no wait when we went, and the service was quick. Definitely a place we'd come back to when we're craving ceviche.

Who knew Peruvian and Japanese fusion would taste so good! Suviche knows what it's doing!! We went for happy hour and took advantage of the amazing deals. I loved the crispy aje de gallina bombs - it was genius to serve in sushi rice balls. The crunchy spicy tuna roll was classic, always a good choice. It was also generously portioned for only 9 dollars. Ambiance was casual and laid back, perfect for its proximity to Miami beach.

I recently tried the Arroz Chaufa Chicken Special, the Miami Roll and the Alfajors from Suviche, a casual Peruvian-Japanese cuisine restaurant in South Beach. The Arroz Chaufa Chicken is a fried rice with all-natural chicken, hoisin, oyster sauce, soy sauce, egg, bell pepper, onions and scallions. It's very tasty. The Miami Roll is also good, a sushi roll with tuna, salmon, cucumber, cream cheese, scallions, tempura flakes and their verde sauce. Alfajor, which is a classic dulce de leche sandwich cookies for dessert is good as well. Casual and cozy atmosphere, delicious flavorful food, and good service. Check it out!

This is one of my absolute favorite lunch spots on South Beach! The restaurant combines the best of Peruvian and Japanese cuisine, specializing in incredible ceviches and sushi rolls. The fish is always exceptionally fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. I especially love that many of their dishes come in half or full portions -- it's perfect for mixing and matching. I usually go with a half ceviche and a half sushi roll (4 pieces), and it's the ideal combo! The menu also has great poke bowls, starters, and traditional Peruvian mains. They've got a really nice happy hour too, which makes it even better. Whether you're local or visiting, this place is a must-try if you appreciate fresh, high-quality seafood and great service.

We came Saturday night after reading the great reviews it has. The place is small, clean and modern. They only have street-paid parking. Our waitress was Elvira. She was so attentive that it just made the whole experience better. It was our first time so we asked her for recommendations. We ordered the seafood suvama ceviche and the perfect Sushi rolls. The food was delicious!! Fresh and very well seasoned! Love the fact that they add real crab to their rolls. Amazing food! The portions are a little bit small but the flavor is on point! Will be Coming back!

Absolutely perfect. Grabbed their house lager with a couple of sushi rolls. Can't wait to come back for their ceviche. Service was friendly and fast, and the inside is super cute.

It wasn't a bad time but not a great time. Food was mid. It wasn't exciting but it wasn't bad. The bang bang shrimp wasn't what I was expecting but it was crispy. Service was pretty quick which was nice. And the restaurant was nice and clean.

Lunch at SuViche was amazing. My server was extremely helpful and guided me through the menu like a pro. I took all of her recommendations and was not disappointed. Sat outside but inside looked calm and clean. Would definitely recommend!

The ambience is secluded and warm without losing its chic feeling. The two chefs had a great personality and we had great conversations. The food was absolutely amazing. Each course had a completely distinct flavor profile and played off one another very well. None where so over powering that it made the other seem bland. Extremely well balanced with amazing flavors. We normally check the Michelin Guide first but there's none for Miami so we decided to browse through Tock for fun. This was how we stumbled upon Sushi Bar and we are so glad we did! The price point of $185 per seating is super worth it. You get a lot of fish and they are very creative with each nigiri. Their spin on it shows their creative side (with Miami flavors) but is not super over the top and sauce does not drown out the freshness of the fish. Something that stood out to me was how they shaved frozen monkfish liver as a topping. I wanna go back just for that!! They also had some pieces where they smoked the fish. Besides the food, I thought it was very creative how they welcomed guests with a welcome drink at the hotel bar. This was so unique! We finished ours early, and had some of their other drinks - they were all very good! Once they're ready, a server came to get us from the hotel bar and led us through an alleyway to a separate building which was where the actual omakase was taking place. The atmosphere was dark and gave off speakeasy vibes, which I thought was different to other omakase places. Bar is spacious enough to still have private conversations. We did the beverage pairing and we really appreciated the sommelier's knowledge. Overall, we would want to come back again for another tasting experience!!

Let's start with the good, because credit where it's due: the food is genuinely excellent, particularly the fish and seafood, which were the clear stars of the spread. And our server, while I'll get to a quibble shortly, was fun, warm, and thoroughly professional. Now the rest. Brunch should feel like a leisurely indulgence, not a contact sport. The meat station had a queue of 20+ people at peak -- I came for great food, not a deli ticket. The space is crowded and genuinely hard to navigate. Champagne required actively hunting down a server, whereas the Setai simply leaves a bottle at your table and lets you breathe. Coffee is $7 a cup -- at a brunch of this price point, charging for coffee feels a little cheeky. Then there was the pacing. Well before our two hours were up, our (otherwise lovely) server began the gentle wrap-up and produced the bill -- which is a curious energy for a "linger and enjoy" brunch. And we were charged an extra 2% as a "large party" of seven... at a buffet. Where we served ourselves. I'm still working out the math on that one. If you want a beautiful setting, live music, better drinks, attentive service, and zero queues, the Setai brunch wins -- every single time. Mila, save it for the nightlife.

The environment of the restaurant is dark and mysterious, edgy and luxurious, which elevated my anticipation of the meal to come. The complimentary glass of champagne was a nice welcome. When it was time to dine, all the guests for the evening were led down a low lit hallway to the dining room. When the frosted glass doors slid open, they revealed a beautiful chef's table situated in the center of the room. All the lighting, colors, and decoration point your eyes toward the chef as if he was on a stage. The restaurant is small, only a few seats around the table. This was nice because you get to know about your fellow guests. Everyone in attendance was so fun and personable. Now for the food. I will confess, I do not normally even like sushi or crave Asian food of this style. However, I loved every dish that was served to me. They hit all the senses - sight, sound, touch, smell, and taste. Other reviews have gone into detail about the various dishes and how good they are so I don't need to. I just want to echo those points and simply express gratitude to the chef for opening my horizons to enjoy these dishes I would not normally have. The showmanship is just right. The chef jokes with the guests and shows off his techniques but there is nothing kitschy or cliché about it. If anyone is concerned about that, let me allay your fears. There were three birthdays being celebrated that night, one of which was my friend's. The restaurant treated us all with a delicious coconut ice cream topped with caviar and finished with a cloud of gold dust. Seeing my friend light up from the gold dust finish made me so happy. Everyone who had a birthday walked away feeling extra special. Finally, a word about cocktails. The Japanese whiskey old fashioned was stunningly good. I had two of them. They source some very old and rare Japanese whiskeys to make their cocktails so they were certainly special. Would I recommend Nossa to others? Absolutely! They limit reservations to a max of two people so go with a close friend or loved one on a special occasion. It was be an experience you both remember and cherish.

Highlights: * Ultra luxury Omakase…read more* Starting at $295+++ per person * An exciting and exclusive experience dinner and a culinary "Show" Omakases in the Miami area have become almost as common to find as Lamborghinis and Ferraris on South Beach lately and high end venues where you can easily beg for the right to pay in advance and spend over $1,000 ++ per couple for dinner with wine or sake, tax, tip and extras, are becoming quite common. If you're going to drop a grand or two for dinner you are 1. Looking for something really special, 2. Want great food, great service and a special experience, 3. Can afford it or at least for a special occasion. I can't speak to your budget but Nossa, which means "Wow" in Portuguese will provide you with a very unique experience, a "Wow". You pay for a non refundable meal on Tock, in advance. Tax, tip, beverages and extras will be paid onsite later. There are only 15 or so spots per night, 6-8 per seating. Be sure to pay attention to the email instructions. You must arrive in advance (not Miami time). Part of the fun is finding the place. You are directed to a small poke shop where it looks like you're in the wrong place. You ask the cashier for instructions. He hands you an envelope with your name on it. You open it up and it tells you how to find Nossa. There is a secret hidden entrance close by and they will ask you the password before allowing you in. The secret door opens to a small speakeasy type bar with silent movies playing on the wall and you are offered a complimentary glass of bubbles (Prosecco). You are later escorted into a beautiful room, black with red lights, Japanese lanterns, jellyfish art, a large open kitchen and a custom semi circular marble dining counter with a spot light over each guests service area, where you and a few other guests (8 total maximum) will enjoy watching the night's preparations served directly in front of you. Depending on the theme of the night the focus might be on fish, wagyu, caviar, sake or whiskey matching. Chef Max Kamakura of Brazilian and Japanese background starts the show. Expect a lot of smoke, fire and showmanship as he creates 13 or more courses for you. On our visit in August the focus was Wagyu A5, see photo of menu. We had 7 different Wagyu preparations (oyster, tartare, smoking sando, tataki, Shabu shabu, uni, lemon and chasola), with 4 nigiris and dessert. We also took them up on several additional nigiris which were $20 each ++ per person extra, adds up. There is a small wine and sake list or corkage is available for wine collectors. I found it interesting that Nossa ages their own fish. Yes certain fish can be aged if you know what your doing. And like prime dry aged beef the fish can gain amazing complexity. We tried some aged fish next to fresh and it was quite surprising. Chef Kamakura uses an array of special cooking gadgets, smokers, and at times it looks like the lab of a mad scientist or a magician. When he's done you are served in an array of unique and attractive dishes. Nossa is not for everyone, but if you're an adventurous foodie who can handle Michelin prices and are looking for a unique experience then Nossa is for you.

I think her favorite part was the omelette station, you can choose what ingredients you desire and they make the omelette fresh. I also loved the omelette station, it's such a personalized dining experience. You can sit for a total of 2 hours and enjoy a wonderful breakfast experience. There was so many things to chose from. I absolutely loved the French toast, it came with a caramelized banana on top. It was as if I was enjoying some banana bread, the French toast was so soft to the bite. The service was wonderful. Everyone was extremely attentive. Parking is valet which is a flat rate of $40 if you are only there for breakfast. It goes up in price after 4 hours I believe. You can also park in a garage that's down the street which is way cheaper, if you don't mind walking a bit. Overall, we absolutely loved this spot for breakfast. I want to come back and try their lunch experience.

We loved the crab dumplings as an appetizer. And I especially enjoyed my filet mignon. Service was really good to start, but our entrees (we were 8 people) came out in two different batches about 10 minutes apart which was a little odd. But overall, we had too much fun to care about one small issue.
