It's a full service salon, hair, nails, retail products even a collection of clothing. My appointment was for a VIP massage with their Milbon products. it was a two hour treatment that started with an assessment of my scalp the best procedure to move forward with as far as products and then a scalp massage and of course multiple hair washes. I was 100% satisfied and can tell you I was not disappointed. It's a very relaxing experience very spa in atmosphere and my technician Christen was exceptional. There are three different treatments you can pick from but I highly recommend the VIP. It was $250 and worth every penny the salon is conveniently located off Illinois Road in Fort Wayne. As you all can imagine, this led to her to start losing her hair. It was a very emotionally difficult moment for her. I called Impressions and spoke with Tammy who usually does my moms hair. She was more than happy to cut and shave the remainder of my moms hair. She got a room in the back so she can have privacy and she gave my mom a lot of moral support. I remember my mom coming home actually smiling after this. She told me that Tammy was very kind to her and that at one point Tammy brought out a very blonde wig and made her laugh... she couldn't explain the joke all that well to me but what matters is that she got my mom out of a serious funk during her cancer treatment. Impressions Is not just a great place to do your hair, but is filled with incredibly wonderful people. Should have done this review sooner, but with everything going on with her cancer treatment didn't have time until now.

Susie cut my hair and addressed some of the issues and we both agreed this hair reformation would be a several month process. He assistant shampooed and styled my hair and used several styling products appropriate for my hair. Susie checked the hair when she was done. (I came in to have my roots touched up, and my blonde highlights refreshed a bit) Not to mention the uneven cut she gave me.. (I have curly hair, she gave me short(ish) bangs that were completely out of control. It looked a mess!) She couldn't have been a better stylist! She listened to all of my needs and she was such a sweetheart! She took the muddy brown color I was left with, and made it the perfect shade of blonde- exactly what I wanted! She also cleaned up my crazy cut! Throughout the entire appointment she made great conversation, and the overall vibe at the salon is so relaxed! I live 4 hours from Untamed, and it would definitely be worth it to make the drive back to have Alicia do my hair again! I found this place because I saw a review that said someone travelled 4 hours to go here because Alicia did such a great job. I called & they said they had a hypo-allergenic hair color for me. I made the appointment & showed up on time with my mask etc. Alicia seemed super nice and the hair color did not burn my head. I liked the color and it turned out great except the roots were lighter than rest of my hair. My hair was super long and was giving me a head ache. I asked if she was really good with long,, thick & wavy hair. She said yes and I allowed her to cut it. It sadly was very chopped in the back. I was very sad. I did go back a 2nd time for root touch up though because I needed it & MI was just opening. When I asked her to blow dry the back with a little flip, she said something like "Nope not doing that!" I just said nothing and left. But that first visit, I should've known that something was wrong when she didn't want me to see the back of my hair until she curled it . She offered to curl it for free. I'm pretty sure it's because she was trying to hide the 2- layers that were cut without any blending. I finally went back to my regular salon & they had to cut more in order to fix it. So you can decide if you want to go here or not?

I accidentally went to here instead of the other location where my appointment was and the other location had to cancel my appointment. I was so sad because of how excited I was to get my hair done, but the manager came over and moved some things around to fit me in so I could get my hair done, which made me so happy. Madie did my hair that day and I was extremely nervous for judgment due to how badly my hair was damaged and the fact that I used box dye. She never judged me one and instead explained what we could do for my hair to keep it moisturized until we grow all the damaged hair out. She recommended products to help me, services we could do to help my hair be hydrated since it was so dry, along with other tips to help me at home. She was so understanding, helpful, and kind which made me look forward to my upcoming appointments with her. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone, especially Madie
