This place is absolutely amazing. I've never been to a professional hair salon before but I damaged my hair so badly after a bad bleach job, that I decided to do so to see someone regularly whom would know my hair. I accidentally went to here instead of the other location where my appointment was and the other location had to cancel my appointment. I was so sad because of how excited I was to get my hair done, but the manager came over and moved some things around to fit me in so I could get my hair done, which made me so happy. Madie did my hair that day and I was extremely nervous for judgment due to how badly my hair was damaged and the fact that I used box dye. She never judged me one and instead explained what we could do for my hair to keep it moisturized until we grow all the damaged hair out. She recommended products to help me, services we could do to help my hair be hydrated since it was so dry, along with other tips to help me at home. Reegan is awesome, does a great job with my blonde highlights. The salon is cute and clean, and everyone that works there is very friendly! Also love the products they use. I have super long/thick brown hair and get platinum blonde highlights. So I always expect to be at a salon forever and shell out a fortune, but salon rogue is very reasonable. A cut and full foil takes a little over 3 hours and costs around $200 pre tip. I will say their online booking is a little wonky. Recommend just giving them a call to book your appointment. read more

Just wanted to comment on the great customer service I received from the manager and Wes, the owner. I was nervous to call after I was disappointed with the color/highlight I had done over the weekend with one of their stylists. I was going to be flying back West the following day and dreaded having to find someone and the time to fix my color. They were able to fit me in quickly. Wes talked and explained to me the hair coloring process, and was super attentive in correcting my hair. I left happy with my hair and will continue to be a returning customer after all these years, even when I'm living out state. While rinsing my hair, they provided a nice head massage which was great. Left feeling relaxed and well taken care of. Tried to get a full set of highlights but ended up walking out with four tones in my hair. Roots are darker transitions into an awful bronze at the ends. Durning my time here I dealt with product splashed in my eyes and on my face. My stylist had another client so started to half ass the end of my appointment. Walkedout with half blown dry hair. Horrible experience. Came to this location because of great reviews but ended up walking out crying. Charged me $175 and want me to go back to dye it darker. All I wanted was highlights. In reply to your comment Kimberly, I was told that you guys do complementry consultation over the phone. I would of gladly paid for it. In the consultation we agreed upon a color correction with highlights. We put my hair under color correction twice. Keep in mind she just tried to color correct the front of my hair. While in that process she started to highlight the back of my hair. We color corrected it twice and then she tried to bleach it out. She also added red tones to the ends of my hair. When we washed it out it splashed on my face and in my eyes and mouth countless times. Damaging my hair was not an issue for you guys. Keep in mind I just wanted highlights. When my hair was what felt like 18 tones of different colors she told me we needed to dye it all one color. I had no problem with this because we talked about in the consultation. We started the process and she dyed my roots and face one color and then mixed up another dye for my ends. Confusing to me when she highlighted the back of my hair.. I trusted her to get it to one color. Once we washed that out before it was dry or brushed she commented that it looked better. What is that supposed to mean? Better? When I go into a salon I hope I look better than I walked in. It was about 3:30 when we were done washing the dye out. Heather had another client so she was helping her. Me sitting in the chair with wet hair for 10 minutes while she was taking care of her 3:30. She came back to dry the sides and was negligent on blow drying my whole head. Feeling rushed out by saying she can put a few curls in my hair when it was still wet. mind you felt like my business was unwanted. I mentioned that I felt as if my hair was bronze and brassy in splotches, heather and others replied "it looks good". Crying because I did not intend on purposely messed up hair and only highlights I left very upset. 4 hours to end up with 4 different tones in my hair was not what we talked about in the consultation. read more

I'm a brunette white girl and wanted a slightly darker chocolate - dark chocolate brown color as my hair had lightened in the sun over the summer. We agreed not black, nothing purple or red toned. Got home and my hair was as dark as my black lulu lemon tank top I had on. Called back right away and the staff tried to tell me they couldn't correct it because they were too busy and that it would lighten over time when I wash it. I got semi-permanent color but I shouldn't have to just wait 2-3 weeks for the black to lighten. They ended up calling me and having me come in two days later and did a lightening wash but it only took out the harshness of the black not lighten to any sort of brown color. I had a treatment put on my hair there costing a few hundred dollars. The first time I had them put a treatment on, I was leaving on a vacation the next day ending up on a beach and I asked for something so that my natural curly hair wouldn't be so frizzy. I said I like curl, but I hate frizz. I loved my hair after the treatment. Yes, it took out some of the curl, but I could still wash it and walk out the door. It was smooth, silky, shiny and looked like hair out of a commercial on TV, I absolutely loved it. But when I went back asking for a treatment again, they did what they insisted was the same treatment, but it ruined by hair. It was nothing but a straight, dull, frizzy mess and looks absolutely horrid, even with product. I complained and they gave me a free tube of product which did nothing to help. I had been going to this salon since 2013 and saw a different stylist. My haircuts were getting worse and worse, they were very uneven. I had seen multiple stylists at this location with the same result, and then I had started seeing Ally a little over a year ago. Her hair cuts are great and Everything was going good until this past May. My hair was red when I went to see her. I had started the process of going lighter from Black about 2 months prior to my last appointment. I told Ally my hair had been lifted twice in one day by a different stylist, and that my hair was dry.. I really only wanted my roots touched up. Ally proceeded to ask me what my ultimate goal was. I told her EVENTUALLY I wanted to be blonde. I know the process from black to blonde is a long road. Ally told me she would be able to lift my hair again to jump start the process. She said my hair didn't seem too dry and that we could do this safely without damaging my hair. Reluctantly I agreed. I wish so badly I hadn't. Ally lifted the dye again with the same product used by another salon and it was mixed with Bleach. She started on the left side of my head and went all around. The bleach of course was left longer on the left side than on the right. Once this was finished processing and washed out, she started with the color. She stated she used multiple colors, One of which was blonde. I was nervous but trusted that she knew what she was doing. Once everything was finished processing and my hair was washed and cut, I was happy with the color. It turned out nicely... but 48 hours later I was left with a nightmarish situation. The processing done on my hair had left my hair so porous that all of the color washed out and blended together leaving my hair looking like pumpkin macaroni and cheese. It was yellow and orange. My hair was also left so dry and damaged because of all of the bleaching I could barely get a very wide toothed comb through it. I have never seen anything so hideous after spending 250$ at a salon. I called to make an appointment to have this fixed. Once I went into the salon, Ally and another stylist looked at me and asked ME what I put in my hair to make this happen. I was INSULTED to say the least. I had put nothing in my hair but my regular shampoo and conditioner. Ally agreed to fix my color but had another stylist do this. Ally and this girl chose the color they would use to fix the mess on my head, again I trusted that they knew what they were doing. As this girl is starting on my color, I ask her.. what color are you using? She tells me 7N. A dark blonde/light brown. I knew this was not going to be good, but kept an open mind.. they're the professionals, right? Well Once the color was finished processing and my hair was rinsed she starts blow drying my hair. I could already see something wasn't right about the color, and I asked her.."does my hair look green to you? It looks like my hair went green in areas" she looks it all over, and tells me no. Thinking maybe it was my eyes, or the lighting I believed her and decided to ask Ally when she checked my hair. Ally comes over to check on my color, I expressed how grateful I was that my hair was no longer the color of pumpkin mac and cheese, but asked if the cover up color looked okay to her and expressed that it looked Green in areas. She looked it over and said, "no it's not green at all, it looks great. " I left the salon and went home. Once I was at home and was finally able to look at my hair up close I realized that it indeed WAS green. I had thick strips of green tinted hair, I was so upset. BUT the green was the least of my worries!!!! I could not get my wife toothed comb through my hair. My hair was so dry, and so damaged that it knitted and matted easily. I tried my best to deep condition, and comb ever so gently through my hair only to literally hear it ripping. My then started breaking off. My long beautiful hair just SNAPPED off. When washing, Combing through my hair, or attempting to dry it , my bathroom counter was just COVERED in broken hair. It looked like Someone had taken scissors and just cut the ends over and over. I was PISSED!!!!!!! As a result I chose to never use this salon again, and luckily I never have to as I have moved out of state. My stylist here in Oklahoma City is Amazing, she has worked very very hard to help correct the damage Ally did to my hair and we had to start by cutting a good amount of it off which just broke my heart. It took a long time for me to grow my hair out to my shoulders. After Ally damaged it with all of her bleaching, I had to cut my hair to chin length. Thanks to my Stylist here in Oklahoma, my hair looks remarkably better but it's a work in progress and will be for a long time. I don't recommend this salon. Save your money and go to someone that actually knows what they are doing. read more

Most of the time I have no complaints. This time however, I had the worst experience and will not be back. First, I was greeted and taken back to a chair where I was told that I would not be getting balayage, a service for which I scheduled. I showed her a picture of what I wanted which was not far off from what I had already. She told me she could achieve that by doing a Malibu treatment and then the color. Me not being a hair professional said ok. I have the treatment in my hair and I'm sitting under a fan. She comes over and says, "your roots are fine right, you don't need them colored?" I tell her I do and she rolls her eyes and slams the fan back down on my head. She won't adjust it so I slouched in my chair while being 5 months pregnant which is not comfortable. She says she can't cut my hair as short as I want it because then she will have to do balayage (what I made the appointment for). So I agree to just a trim. Long story short, I paid 140 dollars for my hair to look the exact same as when I walked in. It is still just as brassy as when I went in, the one thing that I wanted to get rid of. So disappointed and so over this place and their attitude. read more

I went there to get a simple balayage and a trim. I wasn't treated very well; the salon was jam-packed and I had two separate stylists doing my hair. My hair was supposed to have 3+ inches of brown roots fading into blonde, and I left the salon with absolutely awful looking hair. My roots were lighter than my natural color (they were dyed blonde, I wanted to keep them and have them lengthened out) and more blonde highlights throughout my hair. These stylists want to express themselves instead of giving clients what they want. I wanted natural looking roots, not a straight line across my head. I wasn't aware of ANY pricing, I saw no price list anywhere. I was there for 2.5 hours because of the color, but my trim chopped my hair off and then was styled against my wishes to hide how bad it looked. I will never spend money here again. Recently had my hair cut here (21 year old male) and was very impressed. The cut itself was good and my hair stylist was very helpful in helping me figure out what hair style would look best on my head. I wish I could remember her name because she was the best hair stylist i've ever had. Sooooooo! Whilst out with my mother I decided on a whim to get my hair cut. About 2 months ago I got my hair bayalage (not sure how you spell it but you get it) and so it went from DARK to not so dark. Because I was a natural medium brunette it took some bleach in order to get the ends of my hair to be a light Carmel. After this my hair was Damaged with a capital D. I tried everything, cocoanut oil, oil treatments you name it. Nothing, my ends had finally had it with me. So I got them cut off. I called about 2 hours prior to my appointment and thank the lord they had an opening! Upon arrival I noticed the Salon was much different than any salon I'd ever been in, it was very clean, modern, and oh my goodness the people. Never had I been offered something to drink while I wait in a hair salon. The atmosphere was so pleasing and everyone was so nice! I was greeted by my stylist, Evan, and brought back to the chair. I took my hair out of a gross messy bun so he could get started and agreed on how much needed to be taken off. After that it was smooth sailing. He shampooed my hair and massaged my scalp then we were off to get the real work started. Evan did such a great job with my hair and he was extremely nice and held conversation well, I never felt awkward! He is very talented, I asked for layers to give my hair some body and he definitely delivered! Now my hair looks beautifully smooth, soft and voluminous! I was so pleased with the cut that I scheduled my next appointment with Evan :) If you're on the fence about where to go this is definitely the place for you! Everything was amazing. Today I went to Salon Rouge for color and a trim. This was my first time coming to this salon, so I really didn't know what to expect. My appointment was with Antonio. I was nervous walking into a new place to get my hair done. Antonio made me feel comfortable right away. He came out, shook my hand and started a conversation with me. I showed him pictures of the look I was going for and he had no problem achieving what I wanted. He stated that it was going to be a long process, so he went up and checked his schedule to make sure he would have time to complete this project. While he was applying the color he kept the conversation going. I was extremely impressed with how the color turned out. I have been going to different salons for years and wasting my time and money on hair that was no where near what I asked for. That was not the case today. Antonio did an amazing job and worked on my hair until his next client came in. Antonio had another stylist cut and style my hair. She was very nice and did a great job on my hair. She took her time and made sure I was happy with the cut. Overall, I was at the salon for four hours. Never did I feel like Antonio or the girl who cut my hair, were in a hurry. They didn't rush, they both were so kind and made sure I was completely happy with everything. Salon Rouge is the only place I will be getting my hair done at from now on. I took my son in for his first haircut (he's one and yes they knew this) and it was horrible experience. The hairdresser asked if this was his first haircut and I did tell her yes. Of course, being a toddler he did start crying and was scared. All of the sudden I was asked to leave as his crying was "disruptive" and that I would need to reschedule. I was not charged for the appointment but left in tears with my sons half butchered haircut. They should not have booked his appointment (or any other young child) if they could not handle some crying. It's not like I was thrilled about his crying either but just wanted to get it done.
