I called and left a voicemail and got a call back within 24hrs from Rachel she was spectacular and was able to schedule an appointment the next day for a full highlight. They close at 8 but my hair took a bit longer and she did not rush it at all. Amazing professionalism, communication, atmosphere, and over all experience. I had a dye and reverse balayage done with Kayse today and it was the MOST fun 4.5 hours ever. She was friendly, considerate and so so kind, listening to my every request and taking her time to get the perfect job done. Let me start out by saying I have been to Salon 301 in the past and left completely satisfied, however, my last visit did not go so well. I went in a total of two times and had three processes done to have my hair look like this. They said they couldn't figure out why my hair was pulling orange and that if they did a fourth and possibly unsuccessful process that they would have to charge me no matter how it turned out. After having this happen and electing to go to another salon I was asked to not come back. read more

I was in northern Indiana temporarily for work and needed someone I could trust to do my hair. I bought the Groupon and first saw Jill for a haircut. She was great!! Listened to my needs and had great style ideas for my hair. I immediately booked an appointment to come back for my haircolor. I saw Jill twice for cut and color and then she didn't even charge me when I went in to get new bangs cut. I usually do Brazilian waxing, but couldn't find a place in the area. I decided to try sugaring, which the salon offers in place of waxing for Brazilians. I absolutely loved it. Frankly, I might not even go back to waxing. The girl here did such a great job! She basically removed every single hair. She tweezed a couple that didn't come out with the sugar. I'd dare say this left me a little less sore than waxing. She also changed her gloves throughout the process, and I saw her wash her hands. Definitely love the cleanliness. I didn't catch her name, but she is the only one who does waxing. Try it out!! You'll love it. read more

Amy is the best hairdresser around! As a hairdressing veteran, I am the MOST picky, critical and high expecting client there could be. She does hair the way I used to do it. I could never find anyone who was as good as me. Never being satisfied with anyone's work, until finally a good friend (also a great hairdresser) recommended Amy Nedderman. She does blonde balayage and ombre like nobody's business and my recent change to a balayage brunette is to die for! My cut is amazing. Don't be surprised if you have to wait a month or so for your first appointment. When you do get one make sure you prebook to get in her rotation. Like I said she is the BEST hairdresser around so she's highly sought after. I'm so lucky I finally found the ONE. read more

I've been going to Rachel at Salon 301 for the past year, and I think she does a great job for a reasonable price. I'm not from this area, so I always have a hard time finding someone who can cut my hair well, but Rachel does. She takes her time, listens to what I want, and she's very sweet too. Got my groupon Tuesday, got an appointment for Friday! Heather gave me a great trim- I have long, dry, unruly hair and left with healthy locks! The prices are very reasonable- 38 for a hair cut w/o the groupon and brazilian blowouts for 250 (no matter the length!). Been going here for years and seeing Brandi Bates for a long time. She is always very consistent and creative but not in a weird over the top way. I've tried other salons just to see and I always come back. They are very nice, reasonably priced, and can always accommodate my schedule. I am especially fond of Brandi. She's very sweet and polite and will listen to what you want. She has a GREAT eye for color and is very detailed. Highly recommend! read more
