The salon owner, Alex, verbally stepped in and promised me a complimentary Malibu treatment and glaze correction to fix the damage. However, the day before the slot, they messaged me trying to force an arbitrary two-week delay using false science. When I used basic logic to hold them to the schedule and asked for management oversight, the stylist completely canceled my appointment over text, explicitly stated there was 'nothing more she could do,' and refused to return my cash payment. The moment I sent a formal notice requesting my refund digitally, both the stylist and the salon's business accounts blocked me to steal my money. I have officially filed a consumer fraud complaint with the Ohio Attorney General's Office and the BBB. Buyer beware of their predatory business practices, poor color execution, and complete lack of professional accountability.

I found Dr. Lee about a year after learning about BII (breast implant illness), as he was the only surgeon from Indiana located on a recommended explant surgeon list at the time I was pursuing a consult. He was in Ft. Wayne and me in Indy so there was some distance. I'll admit, I wasn't quite versed in surgeon reputations but I knew I wanted a recommended surgeon and I felt comfortable after my consult with not getting another consult. He seemed so knowledgeable and supportive about BII and the office staff are all so sweet. After all, they are in the business of making you feel beautiful regardless your circumstance. I love the Godly feel in the lobby and the holistic approach he takes. As I sit here 3 months PO, although I don't have the beautiful results (no fault of Dr. Lee) I see others have, I am pleased with the care and professionalism I received with the office. Staff were quick to respond when I had any questions or issues during recovery. Overall, my recovery was fairly seamless and I know that was partly due to his recommendations.

She went, insurance was approved, and she had the reduction surgery. A day later, things just weren't right. I sent photos of my mom's breast/nipple to Dr. Lee. He was quick to respond, but didn't see any issue. My mom was in pain, swollen and finally was told to return to the office after an unbearable weekend. She was told Dr. Lee would have to take her back into surgery, to remove infection and swelling. This happened two more times! My mom kept going into the office, and without any type of numbing agent he would cut away flesh from her nipple. She described how painful and horrid the experience was. She eventually lost her entire nipple. She wishes she had never had the procedure. I went to Aspire a few months ago looking for my own augmentation recommendations. I never felt like it was Dr. Lee's fault my mom had all her issues. Sometimes things just happen. But I just felt Dr. Lee wasn't very personable, didn't even spend much time examining me, and wasn't really listening to me. Overall, I realize you cannot always predict the outcomes of what happens with a patient and how they heal, but I believe if my mom would have been seen sooner instead of made to wait out the weekend she could have endured far less trauma.

When I called Dr Heaphy's office to question this mistake the receptionist could not have been more rude. When I questioned why there was no phone call made right away to me regarding this issue, all she did was pass the blame and avoided my question... This receptionist kept telling me they sent notice letters to me, even after I told her I moved from Lima in 2013 at least 6 times. But that's not the point... The point is that if I didn't respond to the first, or the second, or the third letter, why wouldn't you call me to try and correct this issue? And not 2 years after the fact?! I mean, I feel like it's common sense! Then she blamed me for not leaving a forwarding address... I mean, how was I to know I would be billed for something I already paid for? It takes a lot to get me upset but she managed to do it during our 5:57 second phone call. So my advice to all new or current patients: Keep all your receipts from them for a minimum of 2 years apparently to make sure they don't double charge you... BTW- I had a couple moles removed and the stitching was sub-par. I had to go to a new dermatologist in Columbus to try and hide the new scars.

I could NOT believe what had just happened! To this day, I still do not have a clue as to why he acted that way that day. I was quite nervous and felt very awkward about the whole thing because I'd never had anything cosmetic done and hadn't planned to in my lifetime. I've never spoken with a plastic surgeon before and was also afraid that I might get unsolicited advice (i.e. "Well, if we change x or y, you'll look SO much better!") that would hurt my feelings for a long time or something honestly. Nothing I was concerned about came true in the least bit; his bedside manner was A+, and Dr. Diepenbrock was also extremely sympathetic about some personal issues I shared with him that had caused my tension headaches to become much worse in recent months. He came up with a generous and cost-effective plan for treating me during our session but then also suggested that I seek out a doctor that accepts insurance for my type of issue - read: he wasn't even trying to make a return customer out of me, he's really just that nice. As for the results? I definitely feel that it worked. I still get headaches from time-to-time from dehydration or if my neck/shoulder/upper back tension gets too out-of-control; however, the "transfer of tension" to my head doesn't happen nearly as often. These days, I can still feel when the rest of my muscles are tight and aching, but at least it doesn't turn into a headache that prevents me from remembering things or thinking clearly. I think I'll look into having the same treatment on some of my neck/shoulder muscles and see if that solves the problem completely. I'm so grateful that Dr. Diepenbrock was so knowledgeable about this type of issue and was so willing to work with me in my situation because now I might be more on the track to completely solving my 20-year issue. I came in with a procedure in my mind, I am losing volume in my face and wanted it corrected. They basically talked me out of the procedure, and just recommended to take better care of my skin. I have no wrinkles but my pores could be smaller and I have spots of sun damage. I could do a better job looking after my skin for sure. They put together some products for me from Obagi line, Dr.Diepenbrock did a tiny bit of Botox to relax muscles under my eyes when I smile so it doesn't cause wrinkles and hollowness under eyes and they sent me home. Next day my eyes look really relaxed when I smile, I love it. The botox shots were not painful and left no marks! I have a follow up scheduled in June.
