I wanted to like this place because it's so popular in Killington, but unfortunately the service experience was disappointing. The food was good, and the hibachi chef was entertaining and professional. We were lucky to get seats by walking in after skiing when reservations were otherwise full. BUT, one extremely rude server ruined our experience. After the chef finished cooking, my drink still had not arrived, but our server was nowhere to be found. We politely asked a tall blond male staff member nearby if he could help us check on it. He immediately yelled at us loudly: "I'M NOT YOUR SERVER! FIND YOUR OWN SERVER!" A family sitting next to us saw this and talked to a manager for us. Our server later came and apologized, but we explained that the issue was not her fault--we were hoping for accountability from the staff member who yelled at us. Unfortunately, we were told that he would likely not apologize. We were offered one complimentary drink, but the situation itself was never properly addressed. Our server herself was polite, and we still left an 18% tip out of respect for her work. I think basic courtesy from all staff should be a minimum standard.

Sushi Yoshi is an interesting & lively restaurant. It has a sizable menu with something yummy for everyone's palates. Whether you want hibachi or classic chinese or sushi, it's got it all in abundance. Great selection of drinks to accompany with too. The food taste is good enough but nothing extraordinary. Service is pleasant. Definitely worth dropping by while in Killington!

My mom, step-dad and I went so Sushi Yoshi after we had a day trip to Killington. The food was amazing I got the rainbow rolls and sushi rice. I tried some of my moms dumplings she got with her meal and it was amazing! The waitress was very nice and brought our drinks out fast. The food only took a while. Though my step-dad thought that the padthai was soupy and wasn't cooked enough. The place is beautiful and I loved the art that was hung up!

Popped in for lunch and enjoyed the huge beer selection! Loved getting to try lots of great local brews. Super tasty rolls! Highly recommend this spot for lunch!

My friends and I had such a great time at this place. We ordered drinks and my margarita was great. The guy we had was so entertaining and the presentation and food were incredible! If you're in killington Vermont you gotta go to this hibachi place!!

I visited Sushi Yoshi for dinner, it was good The place seems busy with customers coming in and out. However, the waiters were slow when taking orders and serving. It took our waiter around 20+ mins to take our order. The food was nice but not my favorite because they tasted too sweet and not savory enough. My group ordered the Szechuan Chicken wok, Mongolian beef, Ktown Roll, and Shrimp shumai. The chicken tasted great but the sauce wasn't strong because it was too watery for my taste. However, I still prefer it than the Mongolian beef because the beef was too sweet. Their lava cake had too much flour making it taste like a pound cake. The shrimp shumai was my favorite though! Nonetheless, the ambiance was nice, the place was clean, and servers were helpful!

Ok, but what did I expect from a japanese/chinese fusion restaurant next to a skii resort? The ingredients were super fresh but the execution was poor. Maybe they ran out of salt and pepper when we there but the food was sooooo bland. We literally had to ask them for hot sauce (thankfully they had sriracha and chili oil, not just frank's hot). The beef fried rice was actually really good once we added some spice to it. Also, the service was non existent. We basically could've walked out without paying since our waitress was MIA for like 10-15 mins after we were done eating. On the side note, I want to give a shout-out to the busboy who was extremely pleasant and attentive (promote him - y'all need servers like him)

Perhaps more for kids but it's hibachi. You'll get you onion volcano, 2 shots at catching some food with your mouth and some knife tricks. And then you get mounds of food, sufficient protein and veggies but definitely a lot of carbs. You can easily split your meal with someone but you'll pay $15 for the privilege. Can't comment on the rest of the menu but hibachi is a good time. You can be in and out in an hour but really there's no reason to linger.

Another day, another trip to Sushi Yoshi. Still amazing as ever. Service was great. The atmosphere is inviting and upbeat. As the winter comes into full swing, the waiting service is timely and effective. Service always comes with a smile!

Came here for dinner on a Sunday and there was a short wait. Ambiance was nice and servers were accommodating. We ordered sushi which was decent and reasonably priced. Also had the hot and sour soup which was good. Close to Killington resort with free parking lot.

We ordered takeout from here on Xmas eve. Looking at the menu online set my expectations, it seemed to have a bit of an identity crisis, offering Japanese, Chinese, and some random Thai items. I decided to go with a usually safe bet - veggie pad Thai, some veggie dumplings and a shrimp appetizer. Well, to be honest it was really all quite bland and underwhelming. They also missed giving us a seaweed salad we ordered (although it was probably a very busy night). One positive thing was the portions were pretty decent, so if you want to get full but don't really care about flavor depth, then put in your order.

Went to Sushi Yoshi on Friday night while attending Carnage at Killington. Started with the Alaska roll and Miso Won Ton Soup. The roll was delicious but the soup was so so. Our main meal was Pad Tai Chicken and Kung Po Chicken. Both were excellent. Place was tidy and clean. Frankly I only saw one fruit fly that someone mentioned and since it was unseasonably warm you'd expect some bugs. Service was excellent. When we're back we'll come again! Total cost with 2 beers and tip $87

The bartender wore this shirt. Sushi and wok entree were lovely. Cocktails were fantastic. The shirt alone set the tone for a 5 star lunch. Will be back.

I don't think he liked that we were dressed down, however the well dressed group next to us was loud, drunk and boorish, so there. The ground NY strip burgers with local cheddar and apple wood smoked bacon was a huge hit at the table. It was cooked to a perfect medium rare. French fries were ho-hum frozen out of the bag unfortunately and mine were cold and dry, bummer. Server was pleasant and knowledgeable about the food items Best burger in Killington.

Drinks had included a Dirty Gin Martini and the Tom Cat Gin Fizz. We also had a glass of The Calling's Cab Sauvignon on our server's recommendation and enjoyed that as well. There was a woman performing on acoustic guitar in another room, also played through speakers in our dining area - which was pleasant and non intrusive (I am usually against being forced to listen to live music while I eat, so I was wary but it was totally fine. She was great and had a lovely voice!) The main dining room we were in was cozy and inviting with a GIANT stone hearth. Really cool and glad we went.
