This place is a solid 3.5 stars. Nothing fancy but their rolls are pretty good. Prices are average for the size of the rolls, although a friend did order the seaweed salad and it was like the smallest possible serving. Not sure if that's standard but based on the size it was overpriced. Their gyoza is really well made and their geisha roll was fantastic. I ordered mine without cream cheese so keep that in mind. Service was meh but she was nice enough. There were few other tables with patrons which was odd because it was right about lunch time and the location is primo! Overall... Came back and again were not disappointed! It's always a good sign when the place is full and people are coming in grabbing takeout! We ordered the Lion King Roll, the Spicy Shrimp Tempura Roll and Egg Rolls. Both sushi rolls were delicious as were the egg rolls! The service was attentive and super friendly! Everything that came out to other tables looked fantastic too! A bunch of people ordered the Washington Roll and so next time I will try that! read more

Our food and service was excellent. I love supporting small businesses and we had been to the sushi restaurant nearby the day before and were sorely let down. When I saw the to go sort of atmosphere this place had I was worried but the service was crazy attentive and friendly and our food was delicious. My salmon was perfectly cooked and I could drink their teriyaki sauce it's so good. I'd definitely return over and over again. Only thing I'd say they should work on is using actual tea in their boba tea blends and making them as teas instead of iced smoothies but their boba was perfectly prepared, it's just those powders make the drinks too sweet. read more

Nahhhhhh. I'm not understanding why the reviews here are so complimentary. I just wanted some old fashioned rolls but I ended up with giant balls where the predominant ingredient was rice. And the fish chunks were so big...the biggest I've ever seen. These were worse than your albertsons sushi rolls. It does seem like a lot of the yelpers here recommend the non-sushi items like teriyaki. Too bad they don't live up to their name. read more

Usually one of my favorite places to eat but I ordered teriyaki noodles with beef and tempura shrimp and they gave me plain noodles without sauce... fine I asked them to put sauce on it and they took it back and said "it's on us you don't have to pay" and gave me rice and beef. I didn't wanna complain another time so I just dealt but even the sushi wasn't good and overall it made me really upset that I wasted 30 bucks. read more

I visited Sushi Mori for the first time yesterday and I definitely told them I'd be a recurring customer. I needed some soup on a cold day so I got this - the Beef Curry Udon. It was a little spicy and had a great curry flavors. It was full of veggies and beef and the Udon were cooked perfectly. Th bowl was HUGE so it was definitely worth $11.95. I highly recommend you try it next time you visit. As an appetizer, my party got gyoza (delicious and perfectly crisp with a sweet green onion type oil/sauce - sorry, I don't know the name) and edamame (my friends said it was a little harder here than most places but still had good flavor). On friend got the Cali Crunch Roll - no complaints there. It had a nice portion of each ingredient and a great price point of $7.95. Another friend got the Chicken Bento Box - again, no complains. You can choose between egg rolls or gyoza, so she got egg rolls. You get a nice heap of salad, chicken teriyaki, Cali Rolls, and rice. A great amount of food for $13.95. I can't wait to go back and try their other sushi but the Beef Curry Udon is a must try! read more

My cousin took me here a while ago and it was delicious (it was my first time trying it). But the next time i came I got the Cali crunch and it was SO GOOD. I really recommend it and the lady attending me was super nice. Overall I really like it the place itself has a nice scenery and it's very welcoming. The food here is *always* so darn good, consistent and fresh and I've been coming here for years. They serve some of the best eel I've ever had so if you like eel definitely try their Double Dragon roll. The New Mexico roll is my personal favorite. Also, try the Udon soup! The broth they use is superb and it is surprisingly filling. The cleanliness of the building, friendly wait staff and beautiful food presentation also makes coming here an enjoyable experience. I used to go to the mall, but not any more. You can order ala carte. Rolls also come in plates of eight pieces. Bento boxes and Teriyaki. Update 7-25-17 Well, I gave it 4 stars back then...food quality has dropped. I have since taken a sushi class and sadly think my rolls are more presentable. Even a simple salmon roll...rolled rice with salmon set on top...not formed. I will pop in sometime in the future to see if things improve. But until then...2 stars. read more
