Combo 1 Dragon roll and Caterpillar roll
Jen T.

We had limited time so we came close to opening and placed a to-go order. Those are specific combos of rolls and a soda. No big deal ..service was fast and friendly. While waiting I noticed all the sushi stacked 2 containers high in the conveyor belt...so plenty of sushi...but just going around and around and nobody but us was in the restaurant shortly past opening. It made me wonder what happens to all of the sushi throughout the day and also made us not want to come back later (daughter hadn't had a conveyor belt experience but confident she doesn't want one now!). The other off-putting thing was the sushi was quite warm...warmer than I've ever had. I don't think the rice was cooled much and they sacrificed quality for speed. It was hard to eat even after walking 15 minutes back to our hotel. One of my rolls had cream cheese in it and was very warm...gross!

For a conveyer belt, the food is good!! I have no complaints about the freshness as the chefs were constantly putting new things out and there were only a couple plates I noticed that were there for more than 15 minutes. The place has good music and it's very cherry in here! The worker was also very nice! It's a little pricey but honestly it's worth it for how much you eat. Sadly after my friend and I got sick from the food. Not sure what it was- but I'm assuming it was something in the food.

Good sushi and looking forward to the physical opening instead of to-go!

Sashimi "deluxe". Tuna was all I tried. Not fresh by any stretch. I spit out the first bite then threw away.

Went to neighboring Nikko last night. Thought I'd give sushi house a try tonight. Severely disappointed to open the boxes. Sashimi deluxe was just the pieces thrown loose into an oversized box (see picture). No wasabi or ginger. I tried the tuna first---immediately spit it out. Nasty old fish. Shocked at such low quality.. I'll stick with Nikko.

Eating in is a better experience than take out. Food is good, no complaints on quality or flavor. Service is attentive and quick.

I am a bit of a ramen connoisseur. A friend of mine started a ramen restaurant in Portland many…read moreyears ago and I am obsessed. I was expecting a tricities version of ramen, but I thought this place was really good. I would like other options than pork belly like a leaner cut of pork for the tonkatsu but overall I thought it was very good. I got ramen, with a side of gyoza and fried tofu. The soy infused eggs are yum!

My family has lived in West Richland for over 30 years, and when I found out that there was a sushi…read moreand ramen place, I had to try it out. I've lived in major cities like Philadelphia and Seattle, and was a foreign exchange liaison in college. I know good Japanese food when I see it. To my utter shock and amazement, this is the real deal! In fact, the Black Garlic Tonkotsu is arguably the best ramen I've ever had. The chashu definitely is, without question. It had excellent flavor, with hints of cinnamon and a pleasant sweetness. The mouthfeel was truly next-level. The ajitama (soft boiled eggs marinared in soy sauce, mirin, and sake) were great. They went a bit skimpy on menma (lacto-fermented bamboo shoots), but I also just really love menma. The broth was, obviously, the star of the show, and had the rich creaminess of slow-simmered pork that one expects from tonkotsu. I also tried the OMG Salmon appetizer, which is a great deal on happy hour. The salmon was fresh, the cuts were perfect, and the sauce doesn't dominate the flavor. The decor is beautiful, and unparalleled by any other restaurant in West Richland -- not hard to do, but this place would look perfect in any large city. Flying glass fish swim through the sky-high ceilings, and the tables are neatly kept. They don't have a ton of seating for large groups, but there were still a couple of free tables when I got there. They also have ample seating for singles at the sushi bar. I highly recommend this place; it's a hidden gem punching way, way above its weight class. Don't miss out!
