This is my go-to sushi spot which I recommend to everyone I know. Better quality than most expensive restaurants with prices that can't be beat. Yes, it is in a mall food court and yes, the ambiance usually includes kids playing on the coin-operated rides nearby. But every penny you pay this establishment is rewarded. Buttery salmon and white tuna. Red robust tuna. Their rolls are enormous and there are a lot of choices at a good price. Their combos are generous coming with soup. Their bentos are also great value. Regular rolls are 8 pieces and full of fish. It is family run and friendly. Even with a long line they know how to move quickly while not cutting back in the finished product...artfully made, delicious rolls and sushi. I have probably eaten here a hundred times and maybe once was I ever disappointed. Consistently top knotch, I have nightmares of this place closing...not sure how I would cope! They also have decent bubble tea and their hot food always looks and smells yummy. It is just too hard to stray from my favorite sushi! read more

I visited the Broadway mall after a long time and of course had to eat at Sushi.com which is located right upstairs of the mall in the food court. I was so excited being that I used to come here all the time- so often the employees memorized my order, which is always the spicy roll combo (1 spicy tuna roll, 1 spicy california roll, miso soup) with extra spicy mayo. One of the things I will always love about this place is how fresh their rolls are. If it's not enough that they make the rolls right in front of you, the taste alone sets this mall sushi apart from many others- even some restaurants. Something to note however, is that if you've been coming here for as long as I have, then you've probably noticed that the portion of fish has decreased significantly, making the rolls smaller as well. Do I think you're still getting your moneys worth? Yes. But it does disappoint me that with this change in staff, you can visibly see a change in the food as well. I also tried their shrimp dumplings here for the first time (also considered shumai at a lot of restaurants if you're familiar with that) and it was great. Really loved it, especially with the extra spicy mayo I got. If you're at the mall shopping around, I would give this place a try for sure. Its filling, reasonably priced and even with the changes, still very good and will remain one of my fave sushi spots. read more

By far the worst sushi I've ever had. I ordered a spicy combo with an order of California on the side. As I got my meal and ate it the tuna didn't taste right at all. It had the worst taste ever. As I'm trying to force myself to eat the California roll I just couldn't. I then asked my bf who also agreed something was wrong. I then went up to the owner and told him that it wasn't good at all and if I could please get a refund for at least the combo and he continued to tell me the fish is fresh that it just came in. And then asked me if he could try the tuna roll. So he did and told me it was perfect as he has been in the sushi business for years. He was more excited to pick a fight then help a good customer. Never been more disappointed in general from a "restaurant". This place doesn't even deserve a rating. read more

Good place. Food was better. Service was apt. Tons of options. For a mall eatery, it is above class. Happy that it is there. Sometimes we pick it up for lunch on a workday. Attentive staff and clean. Enjoy. read more

Tried this place for the first time, the food was really good for the price. We had the pork bulgoki, the Broadway roll and the White dragon roll. Both sushi was really good, but between the two, I like the white dragon better. read more

This place is located in the broadway mall, but don't judge a book by it's cover. Sushi.com has the best and most freshest sushi I've ever had. This is by far the best sushi place ever!! Very affordable and great good choices I usually get the sweet potato roll. It's soo delicious and the best one ever! Today I got the Katsu Bowl. Wow I can't believe I didn't get it sooner!!! It was soo delicious. I only made it pass the chicken, didn't have enough room for the rice. The bowl is sooo filling and the Katsu sauce on chicken is the best!! I am definitely getting it again. And for only $6.99! Wow the price is a steal! Always my favorite spot to eat at the broadway mall. The best sushi and food here! read more

Decided to stop by here before catching a movie at Broadway Mall. I got the Vegetable Roll and Seaweed Salad, both which were perfect for what I was looking for. I like putting a piece of ginger and a large helping of seaweed salad on top of each piece of sushi before I devour them fyi. All of the ingredients were fresh, but please note that I can't vouch for the fish, as I opted for a vegetarian dish. I deducted a star because a customer in front of me complained about hair in their food, which grossed me out. However, the individual at the register was professional and offered to give the unsatisfied customer a newly made roll. read more

This is my favorite sushi place. The fish is always fresh and everyone who works there is so nice. If I could change anything it would be that they delivered because I love their sushi so much but I am also lazy and don't like to leave my house. But then again maybe it's better that they don't because I would surely go bankrupt. read more

I used Sushi.com for a Platter for a Family dinner. The food was fresh and delicious. The Deluxe platter had an assortment of sushi and rolls enough to feed 8-10 people. Worst sushi ever!!!!!!! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!!! This place has the worst customer service and the worst sushi I've ever had. I ordered spicy tuna roll and he basically gave me regular tuna with spicy mayo on top THAT IS NOT SPICY TUNA. I made the mistake of having my friend order while I sat at a table as I was exhausted from work so he already paid for it. When I went back and told the guy he goes this is spicy tuna and then continued to yell saying "I can't do anything" basically telling me to get lost. I don't care if the food is amazing or disgusting but customer service is something that can make or break a business and this guy was extremely rude. He then told me that he would make spicy tuna the way it's made everywhere else and hands me the most disgusting spicy tuna I've ever tasted in my life. I work at GEICO and I have to say customer service is pretty big there we wouldn't even THINK about speaking to our customers the way he spoke to me. If you have any respect for yourself or your stomach avoid this place at all costs!!!!! So I had to come back and write more because this guy proceeded to call the cops on me stating that I caused an issue. I had already sat down far away from his counter had kids with me who were eating so I was literally just sitting there waiting for everyone to finish eating. The cops came up heard my side of the story and then went to speak to him. The officers were extremely respectful and were listening to what he had to say very calmly. The officer then asked him to simply issue a refund which would have been the right thing to do and he proceeded to curse at the cops saying F U. The cops weren't rude weren't asking him to do anything unreasonable but obviously this guy has no manners and wasn't raised right because not only did he yell at me in the middle of a mall but then he cursed at cops for absolutely no reason again in the middle of a mall. SMH! read more

YES, 5 stars for a food court sushi bar. Can you believe it ?? Truthfully - the best bang for your buck. Think about it - no overhead really - they can afford to serve the best quality - GENEROUS portions - one roll will do it here when I usually order two ! Great soup, huge portions. When they say spicy - they MEAN spicy (as in spicy tuna, or spicy mayo) so if that is an issue - ask for it toned down, but if you LIKE the spicy... May I reccomend the volcano roll... it's awesome. My favorite is the New York roll, Tuna, salmon, crab, yellowtail, avocado and some other stuff all rolled in cucumber - no rice. The Dragon roll is good too - a huge spicy tuna roll covered in what has to be nearly a whole avocado sliced up. Movies at this mall are $7.50 on Tuesdays so dinner and a movie is about $20 per person !! YAY !! read more

Value alert - Please go here to keep this place in business. I don't know how they do it. The fish is fresh, portions are large and the price is oh so cheap. The initially sceptical side of me wondered how good mall fish can be, but after reading all these positive reviews on Yelp, I decided to take the bait. I cast a wide net and ordered a sushi bento knowing that most of it would be made of fresh fish, which can be either awesome or terrible. I would rate Sushi.com's food as the best I've had in a mall, top 25% of $$ sushi restaurants I've tried in NYC and competitive with $$$ sushi restaurants in NYC. Because of the price and location, I decided to give this place a 5 star (compared to similar restaurants in its class.) My sushi bento came with a piece of buttery salmon that more than covered the rice. (This is the kind of fish to rice ratio you want so that each bite fits into your mouth wonderfully.) Other pieces included tuna, yellowtail, white tuna and ebi. The tamagoyaki was okay. It tasted premade and was a little too dense for my taste. My boyfriend had the unagi bowl, which came with huge pieces of eel with just the right firmness. The bowl came decorated with sliced avocado and asparagus - an excellent complement to the saltiness of the fish. Overall, this totally beat my expectations for a spot in a mall, but boy am I glad I gave it a try. read more

Omg! I love sushi and this is one of the highest rated sushi in the local area so the next time I visited the mall I had to try it out of curiosity. But despite the awesome reviews I was too scared to order my usual go-to sushi rolls. So for $10 I got a bento box with 2 perfectly cooked salmon filets drizzled with teriyaki sauce, white rice, steamed carrots and cauliflower, vegetable and crab tempura (5 generous pieces), a California roll, a side salad with avocado and a miso soup. More food than one person should eat but everything was do delicious that I managed to clear my plate. Now that I see how fresh the ingredients are I will return 100%. I was never a sushi fan until recently. My wife got me into it and for the price vs quality/portion size, it's not so bad after all. It's convenient and close to home for me so that's a plus too. Even my extreme food picky 4 year old asks for her veggie sushi and miso soup! What kid likes veggies!?! I personally like the "cooked" type so I can't speak for the "raw" fish types. I've had the udon noodles and they seem very tasty too. My son had a bento box and he couldn't finish his meal. He's a garbage can and usually eats everything! I'd recommend the place and definitely will be returning again. read more

After reading a few reviews on Yelp, my brother and I stopped here for sushi. We were impressed by the price points and quality. The presentation was beautiful, and the special rolls are generously portioned. Their rice is just perfectly sticky- the way sushi rice should be! Don't let the idea of "mall sushi" scare you away! literally the best sushi place ever. relatively cheap & very good quality. the staff are nice & the place is clean! love it here!

For a mall food court sushi meal, sushi.com deserves no complaints as far as price and quality is concerned. Sushi chefs make everything right in front of you and the wait is relatively short. I finished my dinner very full after consuming one dragon roll (eel) for about $10.50. I really enjoyed my eel. My friend was satisfying after getting 24 pieces for $12.47, a California roll, spicy tuna, and spicy salmon. Overall good experience. read more

Great quality food at an amazing value! I am always greeted with a warm smile from the older lady that looks to own the business every single time I come here. This place is a gem of a sushi place, especially located in a mall food court. This place can gets busy with a decent line during prime lunch and dinner times all the while the surrounding "restaurants" will have no wait. Every time I suggest sushi with someone new and tell them the place I want to go is within a food court, I get the side-eye; which is probably justified. The quality and freshness of the food here rivals many mid to high level sushi places I frequent in Manhattan. This place gets serious bonus points for having Japanese soda and bubble tea on hand to add to the charm of this place. I have the frequent customer rewards card, which doesn't seem to be worth it in hindsight as it cost $5 to get that card and you have to eat an obscene amount of sushi before you're eligible for the first tier of rewards. read more

I've been eating here a while now. At first the prices have the illusion it would be sub par Japanese/korean food but I was terribly wrong. It may be just be a restaurant in a mall food court but it delivers with its food. The various offerings from sushi to chicken katsu and bulgogi, all have been a surprise to me in terms of flavour. I highly recommend this place for a quick sushi fix. One may say it's not the same as a full sushi place or Korean barbeque joint but I am basing my review factoring in price and value versus taste. All in all its a place that my girlfriend and I can go to for a quick lunch or dinner. read more

I love sushi and this is honestly one of my favorite places to go for it. Don't think "mall sushi" or be turned off by the gimmicky name. The sushi roll selection is extensive and the fish is always fresh - nice, red, juicy tuna and pink, melt-in-your-mouth salmon. I pretty much stick to the basics - maki rolls such as spicy tuna, salmon, yellowtail scallion, with a miso soup or side salad with ginger dressing. One thing that is great us that the rolls are always 8 piece, not 6 as many places give you, and they are medium to large sized. You get good value for your money compared to most other sushi joints in the area. There are a lot of sushi combo plates to try, noodle dishes, bento boxes, hand rolls, over two dozen special rolls, dumpling and tempura, donburi, etc. Off the nigiri (individual sushi piece) menu, I recommend the smoked salmon (personal fave), white tuna & red snapper. There is also a customer rewards program in place, which is very rare for a sushi place and honestly worthwhile, as you WILL want to return. Considering the price and convenience, this place deserves much praise even if it is not the most elegant or sophisticated. The staff is friendly, rarely makes mistakes, and is always willing to correct them when they do with zero hassle. For these reasons, it will continue to earn my patronage. read more

To preface, i haven't gotten the sushi here so keep that in mind. Definitely feel the 4.5 star rating might be a little high for this place. I've gotten a bunch of the bento boxes and teriyaki combos. I'd say it's definitely solid and the prices are good too. Around 8-9 bucks total for the combo meals. My most recent one was chicken teriyaki. Great how they give you a little bit of everything. The california rolls were solid but not spectacular. The fried stuff was fried nice and light; definitely a plus. Salad was solid but had too much dressing on it; will remember to ask for it on the side next time. The chicken teriyaki was a bit disappointing to be honest. Chicken was pretty dry and the sauce felt kind of thrown on - i've had much better. Overall, i think sushi.com is a much better and fresher choice than a lot of other offerings in the food court presently. Rating might go up when i try the sushi. Thumbs up. read more

Good deal for lunch at this food court outfit in the Broadway Mall. For about nine bucks I got the combo Mexican Roll / California Roll which had spicy crab and shrimp with cucumber. I absolutely love the ladies who work here. They're so fab and they know their regulars and appreciate the business! Tip - get their sushi.com rewards card if you work in or around the mall and will be there often enough. I am not generally a sushi person, but their other kitchen dishes are usually pretty great.
