This place is so super underrated and I get it. Mall food court sushi...questionable on all fronts. But don't fret, it's beyond the bang for your buck and no, you won't get sick. The sushi is delicious, cheap and it's not your usual 6 piece roll - you're getting large 8 piece rolls. No, it's not going to be the freshest roll ever, but it's not fishy, taste like normal fish, and no, I didn't get sick and it's been multiple times. The portions for the rice bowls and udon noodles are huge. Just don't get the chicken, it's super dry to a point where you'll end up tossing it, but everything else is great. I love them! I would give 5 stars, but some of the meal customization options are iffy to me. Overall, the prices are great, affordable and cheap. Best sushi! Such a hidden gem. Came across this place while shopping at the mall, prices are typical of your average sushi spot. I get sweet potato sushi every time- but this was something special. Everything tasted very fresh, there was HUGE pieces of fried sweet potato that were delicious and it was drenched in eel sauce. They DO NOT skimp on anything. We barely order from this place even though we visit this Mall very often. My son was asking for Sushi when we visited the Mall past weekend, so we ordered a bento box lunch for him and it was disappointing. First of all, the price on the receipt did not match to the price on the menu. The lady who took the order did not mention the price increase at all. When we got our receipt and questioned her about the price discrepancy, she told us that the price went up due to COVID with an attitude. I did not like this dishonest act from this place. How difficult would it be amend the price on the menu? How difficult would it be to let the customers know the price increase when ordering. I probably would still order it if you let me know the price went up by $1 upfront, but I would feel more comfortable paying the extra $1 that way. Secondly, the bento box included a roll of tuna, a few pieces of sushi, a few tempura (only one of the tempura was shrimp, and the others were like sweet potato tempura) and a very small portion of seaweeds. The tuna roll was not fresh. The shrimp tempura was terrible as it was not crispy at all. It looked like a shrimp inside the egg more than shrimp tempura. The sushi was okay. Most of the items in the bento box was raw food. Overall I would not recommend this place given the price I paid and the food portion and service I received. read more

Mall sushi! True story. I started off with a New York Roll (tuna, salmon, snapper, avocado, crab meat in a cucumber) for 9.99. This same roll is def $4-5 more expensive at local restaurants. The quality wasn't lacking either. Everything was fresh and it was made to order. The miso soup and house salad both were bleh and will be skipped on future visits. The rest of the menu is filled with specialty rolls, udon soups and grilled chicken/beef dishes. Most dishes are in the $7-8 range. Not too shabby. It was good meal, great for a mall, but didn't 5-star wow me. Especially since it's not good enough to make me want to go back to the mall even if I don't need anything else there. It also has to be mentioned that you are eating this in the mall food court. I love their pictured menu so you can choose exactly what you want since you will know how it will look. I always order the Broadway roll. It is the most expensive roll there for $13 with tax BUT it is so huge and filling, it can make almost 2 people full. Really great sushi and love it! Now to the unfortunate part... I have seen two ladies work there, one older and one young (in her 20's). The older woman, is so friendly and nice, but the complete opposite for the younger Asian girl. She is unbelievably rude to almost every single customer and they get very offended. I've only sampled about 1/10th of what the menu has to offer and I lay awake at night thinking about what heavenly bite I will choose next. Two of my favourites are the spicy salmon and the spicy tuna. The rolls are so fresh. I haven't seen fresher fish in high-end restaurant sushi! The fish has such deep colors and actually look like they are supposed to. The avocado is so fresh and green, I cannot comprehend how he does it. Don't even get me started on the spicy mayo. It is mayo that is actually spicy and so very delicious. It's light and scrumptious which makes it worthy of being on the masterfully crafted sushi. And all of this for only 4$?! Are you kidding, how can this be possible? The prices are insanely cheap for the kind of quality that you're getting. In any other restaurant, the price would easily be at least 5 to 10$ more. The chef is also able to get this sushi to you after you order in record time. You would think that for this kind of flavor and attention to detail, it would take at least 10 minutes to prepare, but he somehow manages to get it to you so quickly; too quickly for an ordinary person. The chef is absolutely extraordinary! I know for certain that I will be ordering the 99$ platter for my birthday. I believe that Sushi.com deserves a Michelin star!
