The rolls were fresh. Loved the sashimi combo and pacific roll. I also ordered chicken teriyaki and I didn't expect my son to love it.

While it's a little more tucked away from the main stretch of Preston Rd retail, this place is a hidden gem that needs more attention. The quality, presentation and value for the food is amazing. I've done both takeout and dine-in, both were great but the service during lunch really takes it up a notch. Our favorites are the sunomono salad and the firecracker roll. My one and only "complaint" is the fact they don't have a basic fried rice or stir fry option on the menu for my Uber-picky husband who doesn't eat sushi. But it's so good that we make an extra stop when I'm craving sushi so we both can get what we like. 5 stars for sushi bene and my extremely accommodating husband! read more

Food was good and teriyaki chicken was ok and the spider roll was really good, also the cucumber roll was really good. The service was really nice but the food took like 15 minutes but when the food is here you will eat everything. The presentation was perfect they had a a lot of seats but the bathroom was weird so it never closed and they have the handle and the pusher and puller thing. Absolutely phenomenal. The pricing here for the quality, taste and freshness you're getting for the price is great. This spot is a hidden gem in my eyes. The restaurant is cozy and has a great feel inside. The staff was amazing and very kind. We asked recommendations and were provided great options. I highly recommend the sushi burritos! They were filling when paired with hand roll. I'd say if you're cautious, order the burrito and keep the menu nearby as the service was speedy enough to get an extra dish with ease. My fiancé had the Super Volcano and wow was that awesome. Edamame was great start too and we paired our meal with the Koshu Plum Wine which was super sweet and delicious and honestly would make for a great dessert and a couple of the Gekkeikan Hot Sakes. If you're on the fence about trying a new sushi spot because you have your usual, trust me. It's worth branching out especially if it's in your local neighborhood! This place is the real deal and we will absolutely make this a regular in our dinner rotation! read more

Finally a good sushi place close to Celina. I had 2 rolls and some sashimi and it was delicious. Totally will come back here to try some other rolls. It tasted really fresh and it was affordable. Come try this place out. read more

Hard to talk down on sushi that is so convenient this far north but it's just ok for what they charge. $4 for miso with no tofu or seaweed. The meat in the rolls is on the slim side. Granted I've only had the hand rolls. All that being said it's good sushi. Just overpriced and under portioned in some aspects. read more

Horrible service. No manager. Took money out of my account for a Togo order but their system glitched and when my daughter went to pick it up the supervisor was rude to her. She left it in tears. Tried it as it is near us. Nice to have a sushi place nearby. Price is as usual. Serving is okay, not really a lot. We ordered the volcano which is baked. It was good but nothing really crazy about it. I did not like their tuna poke bowl. It was literally a salad with tuna and a salad dressing. Nothing really japanese about the poke bowl and very different from the usual places that sells one. My kids like the chicken terriyaki bowl and beef bulgogi bowl, serving was just right, not big. read more

Sat down and was waited on promptly. Ordered appetizers of gyoza, tuna tataki and California rolls. These came out after 10-15 min wait which was fine. The taste of all three was bland.
