I had reservations given all the horror stories you hear about fake breeder websites that prey on people and steal hundreds of dollars. I read though all the information on the website and finally decided to make contact through email. Dale was my first point of contact and he was patient enough to answer all my first time pet owner questions. Just a couple months after my first contact, family and I were on our way to pickup our boy (we didn't know at the time he was going to be a boy). Dale and Jeannine were very patient with us and let us spend as much time during pickup at their home. They walked us through everything from puppy stages, concerns, things to look for, etc... They were very knowledgeable on the breed and made the decision an easy one. Mason just passed his 4th birthday and I can't say enough that he's one of the best decisions we ever made. There was a lot of trial and error, given our rookie status, but after all the patience and training he received, he is the best boy ever! We can't imagine living this life without him. He spends the majority of his time with my oldest daughter in college and has really helped her. He is her ESA. We will definitely be purchasing another pup from Sugar Pine, but just waiting on the right time. I would recommend them a million times over.

The team gave me a two to three hour estimate and advised they would call me when he was ready. They hit the timing dead on at two hours. Last year I would have given VIP Pet at any mobile location a 5 star rating. Not today. I gave them…read moreone star because not all of their associates were as rude, insulting, disrespectful and patronizing as the vet. Backgrounder: we bought a house with a large, fenced yard so that our hunting dog could have the freedom to run and explore to his heart's content because walks were never enough for our registered field dog. So he usually runs around our property without a collar which we only use when we take him out. Today, we couldn't find his collar in our hurry to make it to Discount Pet on Hammer Lane for his heart worm test before VIP Pet closed for the week, so we used what was in sight: a one-piece leash with a loop at the end aka a choke collar just so we could make it on time. Although she knew absolutely nothing about us and our dog, the vet immediately started criticizing us for using such a collar, saying it was "unacceptable" in a very patronizing tone, going on and on, asking if we wanted such a collar around our necks, and even having the temerity to tell my husband he didn't know how to train our dog who is an 8-year-old veteran of multiple, always successful and safe hunting trips that would be impossible without careful training. Despite knowing nothing about our dog's temperament, our relationship with him (he's our baby), or our background as loving dog humans for over 30 years, she was disrespectful, obnoxious and highly presumptuous, putting us off ever using VIP Pet Services again. Through the years, we've spent hundreds of dollars at VIP Pet. I liked the convenience and their staff until today. You can be sure that after this bad experience, I'll be looking for a good neighborhood vet who knows how to treat humans, as well as dogs, humanely and respectfully.

They charged me $475 total and they ended up removing 6 teeth! The drive from sacramento was definitely worth it and they are usually pretty busy so be aware you may schedule your appointment a month or 2 prior before they could get you in. Also drop off is between 8-9 and i would recommend you get there at 8 to avoid waiting longer for your fur baby to be ready to come home. I dropped off my kitty at 8 15 am and she was ready to be picked up by 1 pm which was perfect since we stayed out there for the day due to the drive but again it was well worth it i will be taking my cats there again, thank you so so so much to all of the staff, they even called me the next day to make sure she was doing well.

Every single person I met was so kind, compassionate, and genuinely cared about my dog. You can tell they do this because they love helping animals and the people who love them. My dog had severe Stage 4 periodontal disease and was in so much pain. He needed a lot of dental work and many extractions. I had been calling vet after vet, but every estimate was far beyond what I could afford. As someone with a limited income, I felt completely helpless. It broke my heart knowing he was suffering while I was desperately trying to figure out how to help him. This clinic gave me hope when I felt like I had run out of options. Not only did they take amazing care of my dog, but their prices made it possible for me to get him the treatment he desperately needed. Even with all of his extractions, the total was less than $600, including antibiotics and pain medication. I honestly couldn't believe it. Because of this clinic, my dog no longer has to live in constant pain. That means more to me than words can ever express. Thank you for giving people like me the chance to care for the pets we love so much without having to go into overwhelming debt. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for everything you do. You truly made a difference in both my dog's life and mine. I will never forget your kindness, and I recommend this clinic with all my heart.
