Ghost!
Stephanie L.

When it comes to Margaret Blair at Twin Cedar K9 words just aren't enough to explain what your eyes will see. I adopted a 3 month old Australian Cattle Dog/German Shepard Mix from the local shelter who was an absolute nightmare. After a few months with the dog I was ready to take him back. My local veterinarian Dr Mary Allen, saw him for his last set of shots and recommended Marge when she noticed the frustration I was showing. I met with Marge in a private lesson and after she held my dogs leash for 5 minutes, you could just already see an incredible difference. At the end of just 1 hour with her, he was a completely different dog. She is simply amazing at what she does! The time, effort and experience she exudes with you and your dog is unparalleled but also unlike anything I have seen anywhere else. She gave me all the knowledge and tools I needed to help my dog and myself become a better owner in every situation we have faced. Not only will I continue to attend her weekend group classes to learn and grow up I will take every dog I have to her! I would HIGHLY recommend her Ranch of Good Behavior to anyone looking for any dog training needs!

Alma has Scottitude!

Margie Blair is the true dog whisperer. Within minutes she was able to get our Scottish Terrier to walk better on leash, sit nearly still to be faked examined, something that has been a problem. In other words, prepping her for grooming and for the Vet. She gave us plenty of advice and homework, which we expect to complete. We're looking forward to our next session. We're off to a walk!

The dog she had selected had behavioral issues that she knew were correctable.  She had to deal with all of the negative behaviors and train her until she not only behaved acceptably but is now just an incredible pet.  Though we had been more border collie people, when we came to Kirsten to help us pick the right dog she chose the perfect match for us. This dog will sit, lie down, and wait until we say it's ok before she eats her food. We've never had that in any previous dogs. While she sometimes tests the boundaries, she also knows that the kitchen is off limits and she's not allowed on furniture. She loves to play ball, fetch, and just run joyously around the yard. Kirsten told us that she had to teach her to play. It seems that she may have been used as a breeder and not treated very well. I have a deteriorating medical condition which I'm sure our dog will adapt to and be good company for me, and then be a great companion for my husband down the road. We truly feel that this dog and the training Kirsten provided were heaven sent.

Two of my children struggle with pet allergies so I knew getting a dog may have been out of the question. I did over a year of research on the breed that would be most beneficial with those that suffer from allergies and found that either Schnauzer or Doodle would be best. Next I started to research breeders for both but finally landed on just doodles. That's when I came across Sugar Pine Doodles on the internet. I had reservations given all the horror stories you hear about fake breeder websites that prey on people and steal hundreds of dollars. I read though all the information on the website and finally decided to make contact through email. Dale was my first point of contact and he was patient enough to answer all my first time pet owner questions. Just a couple months after my first contact, family and I were on our way to pickup our boy (we didn't know at the time he was going to be a boy). Dale and Jeannine were very patient with us and let us spend as much time during pickup at their home. They walked us through everything from puppy stages, concerns, things to look for, etc... They were very knowledgeable on the breed and made the decision an easy one. Mason just passed his 4th birthday and I can't say enough that he's one of the best decisions we ever made. There was a lot of trial and error, given our rookie status, but after all the patience and training he received, he is the best boy ever! We can't imagine living this life without him. He spends the majority of his time with my oldest daughter in college and has really helped her. He is her ESA. We will definitely be purchasing another pup from Sugar Pine, but just waiting on the right time. I would recommend them a million times over.

She showed us the best ways to work on calming things down when visitors arrive, and also provided ways our children can help be involved training - and making sure our dogs are responding to small children in appropriate ways. She had so much knowledge to share, and seemed to pick up on their personalities very quickly. I am so grateful we were able to get on her calendar so quick after her year of traveling. We will definitely be referring her to anyone we know looking for a dog trainer. Hank and Waffles look forward to their next session.

Anna gave us so many tools that our girl ACTUALLY responded to. She brought out the sweet dog that we see all the time, but others don't because of how excited and anxious she gets over everything. We learned a ton about reading body language and how to help build our dogs confidence so she can enjoy more of this world. Anna was super funny and was constantly teaching us things about our dogs and how to read them and reminding us that we are doing good! Not once did we feel judged or insecure about anything. we look forward to our next training session!
