I started my membership here in like 2022 or 2023. I paused it for a few months in 2023 or 2024. I…read morecanceled my membership March 2025 based off experiences with other members, not the staff. I rejoined last month, May 2025. I had my first class back, Align, at a different time of day from what I would normally attend. Staff was still great & they greeted me by name when I walked into the studio. The, I don't want to use names, manager is the one that got me to sign back up. She called since they were running a special, and she wanted to see if I might want to re-join. She apologized for the experiences that ultimately made me quit. We discussed the discount options, and what kind of schedule I thought I could have if I joined back up again. I let her know that the four pack class option is best for me, as I work two jobs and do strength training elsewhere. The class was pretty full when I arrived, but I walked in and grabbed a spot in the middle of the room. My favorite spot is the back bar, it is the first location I took a class at back when I became a member and it is the spot I prefer. Class was great, although I let them know Align was a little tougher than I remembered back in March 2025. I checked in on Yelp after class, or before, and I saw some awful reviews. They are what led me to update my review. The owner is great and has been able to expand locations. She really worked with me in the past, like when I originally enrolled and was going to quit due to cost and class times. When I quit back in March they asked why, they tried to get me to come back, they offered different class options. While I was quitting, I kept thinking they were just contacting me so they would not lose a member/money. I realized they actually wanted feedback, to know why I did not feel comfortable in class and what happened to make me want to quit. I should add, when I quit there was a lot going on- someone had driven through the front entrance, so we had to enter through the back of class. I like routine and that threw everything off. Honestly, I should have paused my membership and then just restarted once everything was back to status quo. Back to why I quit- I had placed my water bottle at my spot at the bar- someone completely disregarded my spot and took it over. I felt slighted, things were already off and that was the last straw. As you can see, it was not because of staff, it was because I am particular and routine oriented. Give this place a try. If I remember correctly, the owner of this location has three other locations. That allows you to take classes at any of them, rather than just this one.

I reached out through text informing I was let go from my job and could not pay. Instead of being a decent person, she decided to pull a power play and be unreasonable. Huge shoutout to Sal at the front desk -- genuinely welcoming, helpful, and the kind of energy that instantly elevates the experience. Customer service like that really sticks with you and honestly makes me want to come back. I took the hot HIIT class with Sidney and it delivered. Ambient lighting to start, then lights dimmed, music up, and suddenly it was go time. Great playlist, clear mic cues, and a seriously effective workout -- weights, core, warm-up, cool-down, the whole deal. Packed class but Sidney stayed very attentive, offering modifications, keeping everyone engaged, and bringing strong, motivating energy throughout. Only small note: shavasana felt a bit quick, but overall fantastic class. The studio itself is beautiful and thoughtfully designed -- two large studio rooms, appreciate the mirrors to watch form, plenty of lockers and cubbies, multiple showers/restrooms, vanity areas, rental mats/towels (huge when traveling), tons of heated class options like yoga, yin, Pilates, barre, and HIIT, plus a separate red light therapy room that felt amazing afterward. I've actually never seen a studio that had mat drying racks out for everyone , nice touch . Friendly members, great retail selection (yes, I shopped), and booking through ClassPass made everything easy. Definitely a studio I'd return to.

I don't leave one-star reviews lightly--especially for a brand I genuinely enjoy--but this…read moreexperience felt surprisingly off-brand for Pure Barre. I booked a class directly through the website, which clearly guided me toward a "first class free" option. As someone who travels frequently and drops into studios across the country (often through ClassPass or direct booking), this is a pretty standard and welcoming entry point--so I went ahead and reserved a class. Shortly after, I received multiple texts that felt less like a confirmation and more like a sales qualification funnel--asking me to choose between options like committing to a membership, trying a short-term package, or just visiting. Once I indicated I was visiting, the tone shifted. I was then told the complimentary class is only for locals willing to sit through a membership presentation, and was redirected toward paid options instead. That's where the experience lost me. If the "free first class" is conditional, it should be clearly stated before booking--not after a reservation is made and followed by a string of sales-driven messages. As it stands, it comes across as a bait-and-switch. Even more disappointing was the lack of flexibility or hospitality for a very common customer type in boutique fitness: travelers. There was no attempt to accommodate, no "we'd still love to have you in," just a pivot to pricing. I want to be clear--this isn't a reflection of the Pure Barre brand as a whole. I've had consistently great experiences at other locations. But this particular interaction felt transactional, impersonal, and misaligned with the welcoming, community-driven environment the brand typically represents. I ended up canceling my class and booking elsewhere with zero issues . Here are the texts from Gabriella @ Pure Barre Goodyear.

The studio is very tastefully designed and has high-end, new equipment. More importantly, the staff are super-knowledgeable, attentive, creative, and uplifting. They work to help you understand how to engage and utilize your core throughout the movements and always give you a solid workout while ensuring proper (and safe) form. They have classes for beginners but also expand up to intermediate and beyond with engaging exercises across mat, reformer, chair, and springboard Pilates. I've noticed real improvements in my core strength and also find I no longer get a sore back or shoulders since working out regularly with the amazing team here. It's like physical therapy for your whole body. The owner and staff really are top-notch instructors that are up on the latest techniques but also just fun, classy people. A great environment to spend a portion of your day investing in your fitness.

I reached out to the owner NADINE to see if she please just extend my pass for an extra day or two so I do t have to miss out on the days I had purchased. NO RESPONSE. as a business owner myself I'm very disappointed and upset about how she handled the situation because I would never treat a client/customer the way she had done to me. I emailed her the next day in the evening forwarded my email and asked if she had received my email and if she can please help me in any way possible. SHE BLOCKED ME from sending any emails to her, because right after I sent that follow up email I get an automated response that message can't be sent to sender because "I'm not in her email address book". so if anyone is trying to book any passes or sessions with this "Pilates studio" I recommend going to club Pilates, like I have done so myself, you get more bang for your buck at club Pilates. I get same day appointments and can book out at least a month in advance and price is way better. if you're considering this "studio" please reconsider and take this as a warning sign. it's been about 2 weeks now and still have not heard back from NADINE "the owner".
