A heads-up for anyone considering the new EOS Fitness on Cactus Rd in Surprise…read more This location took about five months to open after the "coming soon" signs went up. I waited patiently rather than joining elsewhere. It finally opened May 15 -- and the way it's being run since has been disappointing. My biggest concern is sanitation. I use the cold plunge and sauna twice a day. The cold plunge water level has been low, and the hot tub has what looks like black mold built up along the sides. I told a staff member walking the area. The next day I took photos and showed them at the front desk -- I was told the hot tub was "waiting on a part" and that a supervisor would be called to inspect and clean it. Two days later, nothing has been cleaned or fixed. On top of that, they sold a $10/month towel service and then ran out of towels, telling members it would be restocked "next week." I've tried to be patient and raise these things politely in person. Posting the photos here so the community is aware and so the company actually sees what's happening at this location. I'd genuinely like to see it fixed -- mold in a wet area used by members every day is not something that should sit for days. @EOS Fitness -- please address the hot tub and cold plunge at the Surprise / Cactus Rd location.

No more yearly buddy passes--so you can't even bring a friend to try the gym anymore. Then they refused to let me buy a day pass for my nephew because I'm not his father. Seriously? Zero flexibility and no common sense. And let's be real--it's overpriced for what you get. There are plenty of other gyms offering the same or better equipment and amenities without all these ridiculous restrictions. It's clear longtime members don't mean anything here anymore. Between the high cost, lack of benefits, and stupid policies, I'm done. Cancelling my membership and taking my business elsewhere. They try and make cancelling hard as well to detour you from doing so. Don't worry I'll comeback when whoever the "manager" is, is there to cancel. What a rip off.
