I absolutely love this gym. The big drawback is the amount of people sitting on machines and playing on their phones for five minutes. Ridiculous. And then the ones that come in and plop themselves down on the floor with a mat and get right on their phone and I've watched it. They didn't even do one single exercise and got up after 15 minutes and left. read more

Poor communication. I referred 4 people back in 2024... still waiting on my 1 year free membership. Every time I bring it up I get told it will be taken care of & it never is. Management has quit all communication. Don't trust them. Also, trying to cancel your membership is ridiculous as well. Verify that it actually happens. read more

Every time I've needed help or had a question, he's been extremely professional, patient, and genuinely willing to assist. You can tell he cares about the members and wants everyone to have a good experience at the gym. Isaac is always approachable and handles concerns quickly, whether it's about equipment, memberships, or general issues around the gym. He listens, communicates clearly, and actually follows through, which makes a huge difference. The gym feels more organized and welcoming because of the way he manages the staff and interacts with everyone. I will update my review once I've frequented this gym more! However, so far so good. Front desk staff are amazing, they make you feel extremely welcome. Wyatt gave me my tour and explained everything to me clearly during my trial. Markell is prompt in texts and is always courteous - I never got to meet him due to schedule differences, but he stays up to date and is very patient through text despite my questions. Today, Angel signed me up and he made me feel welcome as well. I embarked on a PT journey with Naomi, starting tomorrow after V, the Fitness Manager and I had a mini-consult. The equipment here is extensive, it can get crowded at some times but overall, it's a very pleasant gym with so many added facilities. I highly recommend thus far. read more

The equipment is not maintained. One glaring problem is the Hydro Massage units of which there are three. 95% of the time one or more don't work, even though it is an extra monthly fee to use them. They make lame excuses when people report them and apparently are not willing to get them fixed properly or replaced. They obviously don't seem to care. read more

Generally the club is big enough to not feel claustrophobic, ventilated well, has a fair amount of equipment for most isolations and compound lifts. Staff is always friendly (never give it up, that's what keeps people coming back) but not intrusive. They pick up quick on their regulars' routines and are very responsive altogether. All of the staff know what they're doing in one way or another. It's easy to show up at bizarre times of day and get bits/pieces of my program done with my erratic work schedule with the upkeep of the place and the flow of gymgoers. The worse customer service, they have to offer, my family and I started going to this Gym over a month ago consistently day after day , then all of a sudden we walk in as usual as a family and they question the members that are coming in with us a guest and they request ID . granted this is way after our guest have already giving the phone number day after day each and every time we would walk in they would check them in via phone number and this one day they just where extremely firm about our guest having ID's .. The only reason I won't join this gym is because the kids klub is closed on Sundays. Shouldn't be that hard to staff up. Sure we live in a community that is heavily faith based so it's probably super light kids attendance in the AM on Sundays, but open the kids klub up in the afternoon and see how it goes- bet Surprise location will get more business! read more

This location is very busy and somehow the parking lot is always full. But other than that, this gym offers a ton of equipment at a very affordable membership price. I do like all of the selections for equipment that they have but sometimes a lot of them are broken for long periods of time. The inside is usually pretty clean and organized the staff at this location does a very good job at making you feel welcome, and they are very helpful if you need anything. read more

We go to this fitness center regularly and the staff are so friendly. They always greet you with a smiling face when we come in and when we leave. I live in Verrado and in route to this (Bell-Surprise) location, I pass up two closer locations to me because I 10000% prefer this gym. It's so spacious, and in my opinion the cleanest location in this area. Staff is always kind and helpful. Logan was a pleasure in assisting me to register my daughter for a membership. He was patient and answered all of my questions. He was very efficient and got us going quickly. I also enjoy the classes & variety of equipment. Needed to cancel my membership and went in to do so, and they told me it was cancelled but would have to be responsible for another month of my membership, which was fine. I pay that, and then the following month I got charged. Come to find out, they never cancelled it so now i'm responsible for the past 2 months and another month after. Everyone I have contacted there will do nothing about it even though my membership showed cancelled in the app originally. Absolute headache and absolutely do not recommend this gym read more

I would love to give this EOS location a 5 rating but maintenance (repair) is unacceptable. It's been over three months and these water fountains have not been repaired, replaced or removed. Very unsanitary. Do something about this. Very bad look for new member tours. read more

Very friendly staff, Clean environment, lots of parking space and equipment is always working properly.

Everyone at the front is always super sweet, they always say hello when you walk in or say bye as you leave. The gym itself I really like, always looks clean and has a lot of options for equipment. Here's my issue, Mondays and Saturdays they have "subs" for Zumba and they are ALL soooo nice every single one of them BUT the energy is not there and you don't get that good workout. Sometimes the classes are empty or people walk out half way through the class. There are 2 subs Angie & Olga who KILL IT and I mean keep the class full and energized yet they don't keep them consistently. Brought it up to management and was met with and attitude like they took it personal"? I didn't mean to step on toes BUT I thought as management they would like to know what is and what isn't working right? ‍Well apparently not. Quick example this Saturday many people saw Angie was in the schedule and it was packed, some ladies even brought her flowers . Please bring Angie & Olga every week! Also can we PLEASE fix the damn fan in the room, I've been going for 7 months now and it NEVER works. Tuesdays Zumba is with Melanie & we LOVE HER! She is awesome! She also teaches Hip Hop step class on Thursday and I highly recommend. I'm only able to stay half of her class Thursday due to my son's schedule but man oh man do I get a work out with just the 30 minute. read more

Saw a review where the guy gave two stars because he said everyone at the front desk looked like they don't want to be there. Well they don't, it's an entry level job that doesn't pay enough and with no major benefits. A means to an end my man and we all know this. We've all been there. So who cares? Be for real. This place is by far the cleanest and most put together gym that I have ever been to, they make 24 hour Fittness and In-Shape in California look like 200 year old gyms. My personal trainers name is Makaih and he is so knowledgeable and kind, he is going out of his way and is far more helpful in reaching my goals than my last personal trainer. The Manager Brigitte is one of the nicest humans I have ever met, she is always checking in on me to say hello and make me feel welcomed since I am new to the Phoenix, AZ area, it's like my new home away from home. All of the staff who I have encountered so far are so nice and helpful, the Fittness Manager explained everything so easily and I feel confident I will achieve the results I want. DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE! I signed up some time around February-March of 2022 and was only there a month or two. I signed up for a program with a trainer and after one session she changed her schedule, promised to schedule me with a new trainer, and then never did. I reached out and got no response, what I did get was a bill for "missed appointments" that I was never scheduled for, a bill for $2350! I spoke to the manager and explained the situation and they said they would waive the fee and cancel the program. Eventually I forgot about it until today, I get an email stating that I still owe the money and if I dont pay THEY'RE THREATENING ME WITH LEGAL ACTION?!?! ARE YOU SERIOUS?!?! read more

Unless you are buying training time they don't care about you. I've had them cancel my scheduled checkup appointments twice without notifying me so they could fill my spot with someone else. I have been going to this gym since the first day it opened. Recently over the last year or so the condition of the gym has deteriorated drastically. My primary complaint is the cleanliness of the gym. Prior to coming EOS I used to go to a competitor that made it a point to have employees cleaning equipment because they realized the general public won't take care of the machines. I try to help do my part but it is very hard when the sanitation stations are out of service or not stocked. This includes the restrooms. Anytime of day that I go, the restrooms are a mess and often times lack toilet paper. Either EOS employees or a contracted service should increase their floor patrols and address this. After reading other EOS reviews, this seems to be an issue that is not specific to the Surprise location but rather around the valley. I understand as a public gym the equipment will get used heavily. However, when a machine breaks at this gym, it is out of service for weeks and sometimes even months. I'm hoping you know this location on Bell Rd. Just off the 303 I'd dishonest. In Aug 2023 I felt it was time to try a personal trainer as my knees weak and needed to get In shape. Im a widow and senior citizen with some disabilities .A big commitment. I signed up with Danny V who gladly signed me up however never showed me anything about the club or gave me any copies of what I signed. I met with trainer Tonya the following week and she was new to training and to EOS but was very nice. Several weeks went by and I expressed not knowing what I was entitled to ) she preceded to show me the club and what I signed up for and not sure at the time if Danny V was the one who flaked on not telling me but later I knew it was him even though he denied it. In October my knee was real bad and after X-rays and Mri I was needing to look to knee replacement surgery. I had to stop training as I had missed 6 session at were added to end of contract. I gave all my reports to Danny V who dragged his feet and along with the fitness director charged me an extra $456 dollars and plus the sessions I didn't use. EOS is a TERRIBLE GYM AND IVE TALKED WITH OTHER WHO HAVE HAD SIMILAR ISSUES As a new widow and disabled and a senior I have had a very BAD EXPERIENCE. I'm on a fixed income and this hurt in more ways than one. read more

This place is huge! A ton of equipment! The staff that we've encountered were nice. We started going since they first opened so this will be my review after a week of attending. Coming from another gym, this place has A TON more equipment one fitness enthusiast would be super excited about. Even if the parking lot seem full, the place is so big that it doesn't seem like it's even packed in there. You will see a ton on the trendmill so don't go during peak hours if the trendmill is your jam! The parking is a bit odd and will be hard to find a spot during peak hours Daycare: needs a lot of work. The sign in process/ system is a pain in the butt. It def triggered my anxiety seeing all the kids during peak hours. The extra 5-10 min spent checking in and picking will be annoying if this keeps happening. Probably the only thing I'm not a fan of and may even cancel daycare/membership if they don't come up with a better system soon. It's new so I'm willing to give it a chance as everyone is still trying to get use to it. I'm also not sure about daycare closing from 2-4 as those were the hours I'm used to working out. But the price is great so whatevs All in all, I love the equipments and the big space. Nuisance are the parking lot and daycare. read more

I went back to see how this gym was doing. It has been about 6 months. Although I think it is the biggest EŌS on the west side, they do a poor job utilizing their space. It has the worst recovery room on the west side by far. Just 3 old Hydro Massage chairs with 1 or 2 always broken. They are redoing the basketball court and instead of upgrading their recovery equipment they are adding some more upper body machines. Their leadership should go take a look at the EŌS at Waddell and Litchfield. The equipment is pretty decent but many times you'll find a repair sign on the equipment you need. This is a newer location but I don't know if it's poorly run or they don't have the corporate support they need. If you're looking for an EŌS, try the one at Waddell and Litchfield. read more

Update: more smith machines added! You guys are amazing! I didn't know what to expect walking into the "gym life" after a many years of starting and stopping before ever seeing results. Gyms I've been to in the past have not been able to keep my attention which made sticking to it even more difficult. I would just wander around doing random exercises or spend 45 mins on the treadmill (torture). The variety of equipment at EOS appeals to all types of athletes and can accommodate every level from beginners to advanced. Despite being a very busy gym, it's usually within reason and I can still get my full workout in. My one and ONLY complaint and the sole reason for my 4 stars instead of 5 is the lack of smith machines. Free squats are very awkward for me and the Smith is an absolute lifesaver for my form and the foundation of my workouts. With a facility as busy as this one, the absolutely need at least two more. After several months I wanted to step up my fitness and decided to get a personal trainer, I was a little nervous about it at first but it ended up being the best decision ever! Julie helped me dial in a nutrition plan and created a detailed workout plan to meet my personal goals. Each session we work on a section of it and she ensure my form is correct while pushing me past what I thought were my limits. As soon as I start feeling confident and strong, Julie finds a new muscle that I didn't know existed and makes me crush it. Over the last several months (thanks to Julie), I have become confident in my workouts, and as a non-gym person, I now absolutely LOVE going to the gym! Although I have had ups and downs, my experience here at EOS has literally been life-changing and I look forward to the new journey ahead! I have been trying to cancel the personal training I was pressured into doing for the last 2 weeks. I've gone in person to talk to a fitness manager numerous times and they don't want to assist me They keep giving me the run around ,I've also called and they take my message and say they will call me back. Since no one wants to help me out I've had to call my bank to change my ACCOUNT number and Card number because if I don't I'm going to be charged $88 every 2 weeks ... absolutely pathetic read more
