This close setting means the wonderful instructors--Lucie, Dianne, Rudi, Jenni, Sam, and Megan--can really focus on each person. Their attention makes every workout feel special, and their friendly guidance always motivates me to do my best. Surprise Pilates is so much more than just a place to work out. The studio feels like a second home, where everyone is greeted with a smile and encouraged to be their best. Every time I've needed help or had a question, he's been extremely professional, patient, and genuinely willing to assist. You can tell he cares about the members and wants everyone to have a good experience at the gym. Isaac is always approachable and handles concerns quickly, whether it's about equipment, memberships, or general issues around the gym. He listens, communicates clearly, and actually follows through, which makes a huge difference. The gym feels more organized and welcoming because of the way he manages the staff and interacts with everyone. It's rare to find a manager who consistently shows great customer service and treats people with respect, but Isaac definitely does. If you ever need help at this location, he's the one to go to. Hugest hassle to cancel, still ended up having to pay through the entire year (paying twice a month) even after moving. He sad we could cancel any time. We could not. Couldn't even do anything through the manager. Nearly impossible to get ahold of anybody by phone, and when emailing, they refer you to their 3rd party membership management service. Other Anytimes in the area are nicer, this one was just convenient. Will never sign on with AF again though after the massive headache with the contract and membership. Would not recommend AF.

I signed up for a free class and somehow the dates got mixed up and I showed up 30 minutes early as instructed, but found out I was signed up for the following week. At first it seemed like a big deal that I was there on the "wrong" day, not fault but whoever scheduled me. Thankfully the class wasn't full so I was able to take the class. Coach Tanner was helpful and got me hooked up with a heart rate monitor and the class was great! Tanner is a helpful coach and extremely motivating but the studio manager, Ryan, is not so great. The second I said I had to think about the price of signing up he completely wrote me off. Then come the following week, I get a charge for a class. I called and left a message about the charge since the studio was closed at the time. Ryan gave me a call back and was immediately confrontational. He said I was charged because "I had reserved a class, equipment and somebody's time and didn't show up, therefore I was charged a "no show" fee". I explained to him that I in fact already took my first class (attached a photo of my summary) because there was a mix up with scheduling. He claimed nowhere in the system did it show I took my initial class. So apparently they never moved me over from the other class. He didn't remember the incident at all and kept asking me questions about how I signed up for my class, what time, and so on. He eventually said he would refund my money but never did he apologize for the inconvenience or mix up. It's very unprofessional and disappointing because I really did enjoy the class and was considering signing up. With his attitude I'm sure he couldn't care less about a negative review or a lost sale anyway.

Huge shoutout to Sal at the front desk -- genuinely welcoming, helpful, and the kind of energy that instantly elevates the experience. Customer service like that really sticks with you and honestly makes me want to come back. I took the hot HIIT class with Sidney and it delivered. Ambient lighting to start, then lights dimmed, music up, and suddenly it was go time. Great playlist, clear mic cues, and a seriously effective workout -- weights, core, warm-up, cool-down, the whole deal. Packed class but Sidney stayed very attentive, offering modifications, keeping everyone engaged, and bringing strong, motivating energy throughout. Only small note: shavasana felt a bit quick, but overall fantastic class. The studio itself is beautiful and thoughtfully designed -- two large studio rooms, appreciate the mirrors to watch form, plenty of lockers and cubbies, multiple showers/restrooms, vanity areas, rental mats/towels (huge when traveling), tons of heated class options like yoga, yin, Pilates, barre, and HIIT, plus a separate red light therapy room that felt amazing afterward. I've actually never seen a studio that had mat drying racks out for everyone , nice touch .
