Jessica has been my yoga instructor for a little over two years now and she has been phenomenal! If you get the chance to go to her classes she was trained by the ignite yoga teacher training offered there and has blossomed into a knowledgeable and passionate instructor who cares about her students. Whether it's an all levels flow or a vinyasa flow she takes the time to cue everyone through the poses and offers adjustments throughout the class. She even finished off this most recent class with a lavender-scented shoulder press which relaxed me after a long day. I pull definitely recommend her classes. read more

Bought the $30 month unlimited pass and have gone to a couple classes and it's been a fine studio. I'm a bit disappointed by their flooring in the studio room. They have that cushy, foam like flooring that "puzzles" together, but it's coming apart and bubbling terribly and someone could for sure trip over it. Just curious why that hasn't been fixed? Another confusion was with their app when you find classes. I moved here a few months ago, so am still learning the area, and on their app it lists the different locations under each class, but I didn't know that meant location. I think they should specify that better. So last week they had a class listed as Verrado- All levels, and I didn't know that Verrado was a city. So I showed up at the Litchfield location, not realizing there were other places. So just more information would be great! Also, I took a "heated flow" class today, but it wasn't heated? So I'm curious why it was labeled that way? Over all I have liked the instructors and the space and find the $30 into pass a great deal! read more

I have taken a variety of classes at this studio from a few different teachers. My experience has ranged from excellent to not so great. This primarily depends on who taught the class and the size of the class. At times, the studio is way too crowded and uncomfortably cramped. I recommend trying the Vinyasa and the Yin classes. They will be good classes providing they aren't too crowded and the teacher is good. I also recommend the occasional Gong Baths that are offered. This is a really good experience that anyone should try. read more

Wow! Really impressed with the restorative/yin yoga with Derek. I really loved the apothecary/tea bar area in the studio. I do wish they sold looseleaf tea but you can't have everything in such a wonderful place.I attempted the yin with Reggie and I must say it was less of a yoga stretch and more of a sports stretching class great stretch not yin though.Mary's Vinyasa class is my absolute favorite it is a traditional yoga yet has a modern spin with fun upbeat music with Mary's wonderful personality teaching. I will be back so glad i gave this studio a try for a full month! Now I just have to try to make it to one of their heated classes I wish they had more than once a week! read more

I came into Ignite on Black Friday for their special...2 weeks for $10...and did their complimentary BF practice as well. Basically...I was hooked from the get go! The studio itself is insanely cozy and kept at a nice temperature so that you get warmed up quickly without breaking right into a sweat. That comes a few minutes later. I've now practice with 3 yogis there and every single one of them is incredible at what they do. They are very knowledgeable and know exactly what to do when it comes to coming over and helping you move into a pose or use props to go deeper into poses or stretches. In the week I've been going, I've already learned a whole lot more than I did at my local gym. I can already see more progress. The restorative yoga is especially amazing because of all the props that are available. I never thought it would be my thing, but Ignite has done an amazing job at making a place for everyone of all levels and wants. My favorite part of all is the use of the essential oils at the end of each practice while we are all laying in savasana. The oils are actually made by Eva's (the owners) mom locally. They smell fantastic and really make me sink that much deeper into my relaxation. Their tea bar also has some very delicious local teas as well as some locally made wares. Definitely check it out before or after your practice. Ignite has my vote! read more

Great yoga studio. I love the decor, and all the staff have always been incredibly friendly and helpful. I only got to experience it for the month-long Groupon special, which led to some extremely crowded classes (not the studio's fault, of course), but I would love to continue if there were a greater variety of specials. It has been a couple months since I've been, but my one critique would be that it would be helpful to start locking the door after classes begin. There is, in my mind, far too much tolerance of latecomers by the instructors - a few minutes is understandable, but to have a group of 2 walk in 15 minutes late...? Very distracting. read more

Ignite Yoga is the best yoga studio I've been to. The instructors are all so friendly and welcoming, give individual attention to everyone in the class, and are very supportive. They get to know everyone's strengths and weaknesses and always ask new students if they are comfortable with adjustments. Every class is different and can be modified for beginners or those more advanced. I've learned so much in the few months I've been going. I highly recommend it for all ages and body types! read more

I travel a lot so always looking for yoga studios that inspire the yoga spirit. I am pleased to report Ignite Yoga is such place. If you find yourself in the "west valley" area, then you owe it to yourself to take a class. Ignite Yoga stimulates their community of patrons to be centered to balance. Does anyone know if this place is still open or do they just not care about the hours posted on their door?????? I've been there 3 times in the last week during the posted hours on the door and it's always closed. Even the yelp hours say "open now". I just left there 20 minutes ago. It is now 1:36pm. read more

I can't say enough wonderful things about this place & those I have met here. I have grown so much in my yoga practice just by taking classes here and absorbing all that the amazing teachers & fellow yogis have taught me. I dropped in on an All Levels Class this Thursday taught by Amanda. As a drop in I was welcomed by the staff from the minute I entered until I left. It was great to be greeted so openly. You wouldn't think much of it at first, since it located in what looks like a strip mall, but it's an absolute gem. I've been practicing yoga for the last 8 years and teaching on and off for the last two. I just started taking here but already have so many good things to say about it. Everyone is so sweet, the studio is beautiful, and they give a lot of personalized attention. They also offer a variety of classes offered at convenient times of the day. Honestly, if you're living here or just passing though, give them a shot. read more

Ignite Yoga in Goodyear opened up a few months ago, but the company has been in business for two years, starting out of a room in the owner's house (how could anyone not be inspired by that!?). The first class I attended was Glow in the Dark Yoga to commemorate the studio's 2 year anniversary. Glow in the Dark Yoga was just about the coolest yoga class I have ever been to, and I sincerely hope Ignite will add this as a regular class. I also attended a restorative class which was incredibly meditative and relaxing. Ignite offers yoga for kids, and also has a kids room to encourage young yoga. I highly recommended this studio! read more

Visiting Phoenix area from Texas and was thrilled to see a legit yoga studio within walking distance of our hotel. Despite having very little Ashtanga experience, I opted for the Ashtanga I & II class taught by Eva, who was very welcoming and gave excellent instruction to EVERYONE in the class ranging from a couple of first timers and a few beginners to several very advanced second series students. She offered masterful assistance with humor, humility, and compassion. I felt very welcome in the space and to practice at my own level using modifications as needed. I will definitely return for more of this yoga goodness! read more
