Cheese pizza

I was greeted as I walked in and it's a cute little spot. I came for the lunch special and I was so happy I did. Pizza is amazing, crust was perfect and sauce to cheese ratio was on point. I will definitely be back.

Customized Large pizza

Did my gender reveal here this afternoon! I went to this spot because we wanted a pizza place close to the beach. I'm also happy that when we came it wasn't very busy. The cashier was so so sweet and went the extra mile of cutting up our jalapeños to spell the gender out on our pizza. She even taped the box for us since we told her we didn't want to find out until after we left. I'm so grateful for her, I was worried my request was too much but she had 0 complaints and was very kind. I wish I got her name!

Overall good experience. Called at first and was put on hold for 10 minutes; called from another phone while on hold and got thru. Weird. The pizzas were flavorful and we got a good deal.

CRUST and not much else for $40

Like $40 crust? Too many other good options at half the price in san clemente. And the service... ugh. prediction: out of business.

1 slice of cheese $5.99

Pros: This place has a really good overall vibe half restaurant, half bar which makes it feel more like a night-out spot than just a pizza place. The atmosphere was fun and energetic, especially with live music starting around 7pm on the Saturday I went. Staff were friendly, and the bar side added a nice social element if you're just hanging out with drinks. The pizza itself is a Detroit-style deep dish, and I got the pepperoni with hot honey. The quality was solid cheesy, thick, and filling but a bit more oily than expected. Still, the flavor was good and it felt like a heavy, satisfying meal. The beer selection was also good and paired well with the food. Parking is actually a strong plus here. There's a dedicated lot for customers that's free, which makes things easy if you're able to get a spot. Cons: The biggest downside is the menu structure--you have to order full pizzas only, with no slices or half-and-half options. That makes it harder to try multiple flavors. I wanted to try the mushroom truffle pizza but couldn't without committing to a full pie. Price is also on the higher side at around $26 for four pieces. Verdict: Overall a really solid spot with great vibes, good drinks, and quality pizza. I'd definitely come back, especially to try the mushroom truffle pizza next time.

On a positive note the staff was incredibly warm and kind. My family and I are foodies, my children eat everything, and of course pizza is a staple we all love. Unfortunately the pizza was not good. My son who's 8, even said it was too oily and neither kid finished a slice. My husband and I also got the Greek salad and were pretty surprised when they came with no lettuce. Generally I assume when I'm getting a salad there's lettuce in it so we didn't think to ask. My husband and I asked about it and were told it's traditional Greek. I can respect that but it's a pizza joint and I've been to many Greek restaurants and have never had a lettuceless salad. The waitress was a doll and gave us a plate of lettuce to add to it (at no charge). Wasn't in love with the dressing either, it was very acidic but lacked in flavor.

Nice small arcade to keep the kiddos and Dads busy, amd 2 counter bars. Order at the counter, your name is called, pick up your own food and full your own drinks. A chaotic rhis evening but overall a good experience. A very nice lady and son let us have their table. It can get very loud in there. Service is great. Pizzas wings and mozzarella sticks were a solid 8.5. Pizza is loaded with toppings, not too saucy or salty, freshly made. We will definitely try this place again in a not so busy evening or get it to go. Price on point for the amount of food we ordered.

While we were still enjoying our meal and had half a pint of beer left, an employee approached our table without any prior notice and discarded our pizza tray, which still contained two slices covered by a plate. I had intended to take those slices home for my daughter. The whole incident occurred so quickly (we were in the middle of a conversation) that by the time we realized what had happened, it was too late. When we expressed our disappointment, the employee merely suggested we could get another pizza downstairs and walked away without offering an apology. While I understand it was just two slices, I had already told my daughter that I would be bringing some pizza home. I could have ordered another pizza, but the wait time was too long. Additionally, we noticed that two glasses of beer and napkins from previous customers remained on the table for the entire time we were there. It raises the question of why those items weren't taken instead of our pizza. As a suggestion, I recommend requesting the pizza to go. That way, it comes in a box and is less likely to get tossed.

Ordered were a Pepperoni pizza and the Margherita pizza. Margherita is always too bland for me no matter where I have it. I have to go for pepperoni always on my pizza, and it was tasty. I would've added mushrooms, but it wasn't my turn. Nice crust, flavorful, very thin Woodfired pizza. Just a note-share and eat it there. Too floppy for leftovers. My preference. Tagliatelle Bolognese was upscale flavor with the right spice and totally 100% agreed with my taste buds. I am a fan of thinner pasta, but this is how it's done at Parlor. Funny, it was extremely long strands of pasta so have your knife ready. Unlike the pizza, it made great leftovers, and I thought it tasted even better the next day. So I don't recommend sharing it. Ha! Make reservations, find parking or take the trolley when it's running.

Cosentino's Pizza -- San Clemente Pier…read more Let me clarify something immediately: I did not come for a peaceful walk. I came riding a crazy-ass Tesla-fast go-kart, basically stolen from my own kid Max -- because daddy needs to have some fun too. Life's about balance, okay? Parenting and speed violations on a pier. And right there, mid-ride, ocean wind slapping my face, seagulls plotting crimes -- Cosentino's Pizza appears like a divine pit stop. The pizza? Straight fire. Crispy crust, perfect chew, cheese pulling like it's auditioning for a commercial, sauce hitting that "don't ask questions, just eat" zone. This is the kind of slice you eat standing up, slightly out of breath, helmet still on, questioning your life choices -- in the best way possible. Now pause everything. GIA. Boss. Manager. Queen. Controller of the oven universe. Cool, sharp, zero nonsense, all heart. You can feel she runs the place just by the way everything works. And then... the chocolate chip cookies. I'm not exaggerating. These cookies should be regulated by the government. Warm, gooey, perfectly balanced, chocolate melting like it knows it's special. One bite and you forget you were just committing minor pier-related felonies in a go-kart. Pizza on the pier. Ocean views. Stolen go-kart from my kid. Gia dropping the best motherfing cookies on planet Earth*. If you're on San Clemente Pier and you skip Cosentino's -- seek help. If you stop here -- welcome to the correct timeline.
