My friend thought she locked her keys in the trunk of a rental while we were out in the boonies. I called AAA and they sent a guy from here. It was Memorial Day, early morning, and he came out within 30 minutes of my call. When he showed up, he was friendly and got the job done quickly. Made it far less stressful for my friend. read more

So far two experiences with this company....independently contracted through AAA.... I was always in a rush, upset, big things on my mind and locked my keys in. Usually only happens every few years or so.... The two times I had people come out has been very consistent and excellent. Both times, hot days, greeting with a cold bottle of water and pens with the logo. They were quick, efficient and friendly. I CANNOT say enough about this service. It always left me feel like I almost didn't even lock my keys in the car and nothing happened at all....because it was so quick, so pleasant and so relieving. My stressful life was made so much better by the excellent service. It is worth every penny of AAA and then some. They go above and beyond! read more

I was explaining to my tech that I was so leery about buying aaa.. but boy am I so happy I did! I hadn't locked my keys in my car in years. I had a meeting at 6 o'clock. (it was 5:10 and got off the phone with aaa at 5:15) Mehdi sped over and had my car unlocked with 0 complications and was gone by 5:25. I am so grateful for the guys here. Took excellent care, communicated very well, with fast service. I would recommend this place to anybody! read more

Mehdi - you are the man! God bless you & your family and the work of your hands. My friend locked his keys in his 2002 Honda Accord & I called AAA around 6pm. Mehdi was in route & called 1st & arrived w/in 20 min as we guided him through the apartment complex maze of turns. He warmly greeted us, gave us chilled waters & was quick to work, and bam! the door was unlocked w/in a few minutes. Mehdi was so professional and kind. I am grateful for the outstanding customer service. I will definitely recommend! Thank you!! Service date: 10/8/2019 Order# 117538 read more

I locked my keys in my car, and had to call AAA. They sent Surfside. Imagine my astonishment when Mehdi arrived in under 15 minutes! He had my door opened in under two minutes, and I was under way shortly. He was very friendly, and didn't make fun of me for doing something so stupid, which is was. Please don't tell my daughter or husband!!! read more

Lost my keys at COSTCO,called AAA and the contractor was such a rude, impolite, mean, unprofessional person ever. Not just that the dispatcher which I asked to send a towing truck so I could be taken back to work (6 miles away) this company send a small truck just to unlock the car. NOW, I HAVE TO MAKE ANOTHER CALL BECAUSE I NEED A TOWING TRUCK and wait another 30 minutes. Please if this company is going to serve your call avoid them. Rude, senseless, careless. The contractor never identified me, I never signed anything. If someone makes a call with my name, they can get service. Forgot to mention that he was going to give me an estimate for a service that I paid through AAA. Such a rude person and probably this company didn't send initially what I asked for in order to get pay double meaning two calls. I made the call to AAA and begged not to use this contractor for my towing truck service. read more

I got locked out of my house today, even though I had my keys. The lock would not unlock after 30 minutes of trying! I used WD40 to unlock my door, to no avail. I called another locksmith company, and they came to my home quoting me $200 to get me into my home, and said my lock was ruined and would need to be replaced. I had to pay a $25 fee since they came to my home, but I declined their service. I then remembered, "Maybe my AAA membership will cover a locksmith to get me in my home!" Sure enough, it did!!! :-) They sent me Surfside Lock and Key. Ali from Surfside Lock and Key arrived at my home in 25 minutes. He came to my door, looked at my lock, used my key to try to unlock the door and said, "I can get this open." He put more WD40 in the lock, moved the key around for a couple minutes, and unlocked my door! No damage was done to my lock, and no money out of my pocket for a new lock! I highly recommend Ali from Surfside Lock and Key should you get into a predicament like I did! read more

My wife lost the electronic module out of our 2009 Camry key. I first tried calling Toyota who quoted me a price of nearly $400!!! I figured that there must be a better alternative so I contacted Surfside Lock and Key based on their yelp reviews and they gave me a very reasonable price. I drove the car over to their shop and gave them the key. Less than 10 minutes later the key was working like new again. They texted me the invoice which I forwarded to AAA and got a $61 reimbursement to boot! I highly recommend these guys. Quick, honest, and no hassle. read more

Best service ever!!! Michael is amazing! Not only was he timely, but very kind and efficient. After loosing my key at the gym, I contacted AAA to have them unlock my car so I could check that I hadn't left the key in my car... my key is a goner! AAA told me I needed to tow my car to the dealer to have a new key made. (Being a student with 3 jobs, that wasn't happening.) Long story short, I found Michael on yelp and I probably saved around $400. No towing necessary! Thank you Michael!!!! read more

I want to post this review, sorry it was late. On February 16, 2018 I locked my keys in my car. Called AAA I was told it would be about 45 minute to an hour. Within five minutes after receiving an automated call stating Surfside Lock and Key will be arriving in 20 minutes. To my surprise Mehdi called me to tell me he was in the area and needed the precise location of the vehicle. Mehdi greeted me and gave me a bottle of cold water, he quickly asked how my day was going with the exception of locking my keys. Mehdi was very professional, funny and quick to do the job.
