I contacted Joe after getting keys for our new house and needing to add a lock to the back gate. Joe was very prompt, helpful and responsive. The lock he installed the first time was not good so he came back the same day, removed the lock, and ordered me another keypad lock that he installed the same week. Joe even went as far as offering to help us take out our trash cans for trash day the next day. Thank you Joe! read more

I have been a huge fan and customer of Joe Joe's for over 8 years. Joe is so responsive and helpful whenever I need help with keys and locks. I feel like it is rare to find such a capable and professional person like Joe that runs his own business. Definitely give him a shot when you need a locksmith and I think you will want to write a 5 star review as well. read more

I contacted Joe over the phone to come over and install a new handle and lock on our glass patio door. He diagnosed the problem from our conversation and guided me to the establishment that carried the part I needed to resolve the issue. Prior to reaching out to Joe, I have spent several hours with various sliding door manufacturer's in 3 different states that could not provide the correct resolution. Along with a variety of unsuccessful Amazon options. In my experience, it can be challenging to find professional, informative and honest business owners. Because of my interaction with Joe I will not use any other locksmith besides him and I highly recommend his services. It is a pleasure to know that there business owners out there with integrity and values. Cheers! read more

I can't recommend Joe Joe's Lock and Key enough! From start to finish, the service was professional, responsive, and incredibly kind. He was flexible with scheduling, communicated great, and made the whole process stress free and extremely quick and easy. He even went above and beyond by making sure my home was secure after picking the lock and creating new keys for me since I couldn't be there. On top of being skilled and efficient, he's also just a genuinely nice person and trustworthy... it's rare to find someone who makes you feel comfortable and taken care of while handling something as important as your home's security. If you ever need a locksmith in the area, don't think twice Joe Joe's Lock and Key is the one to call! read more

I own a business in Irvine and one of our door knobs wouldn't recoil back to its normal position. It may sound odd but interior doors are extremely critical to the nature of our business because we take care of pets. In the past, we have defaulted to the General Contractor for our business complex, but he is not always reliable and in the past seems to put a Band Aid on the issue versus trying to figure out what's really going on. So I decided to take a different path. After researching my options, I contacted Joe Joe's Lock and Key because he came highly recommended on Nextdoor, Yelp and Google. His reviews are well merited! Joe was super responsive and was able to replace our door knob set the next morning with a higher quality one that matches the finish of our others exactly. I was also very impressed with his consultative approach which is a lost art these days. What a relief to be able to rely on someone like Joe moving forward! read more

This is the third review I've ever written, so Joe must be a big deal! He prioritized us, was on time, he's incredibly friendly and at the same time extremely professional. He attempted to fix my issue over text for free, but we had a couple of complications so he came to the house and knocked it out in 15 minutes. We HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommend Joe. read more

Joe,s locksmith was fantastic. He arrived on time and fixed my lock on the sliding door so I could lock and open the door. It was a original lock from 1978. He was professional, friendly, with great customer service skills. I was told up front the cost. He is honest and trustworthy. I will use Joe Joe.s again and tell all my friends. Called Joe after being locked out of our car in laguna beach area. He was very straight forward kept us updated with his ETA and even gave us a discount as we are students in the area with limited funds. Would 100% recommend using his service for anyone with a lockout in the area. Such a genuinely cool guy and a huge life saver. read more

I used Joe's services couple of times in the past. The first time is like 10 years ago. Every time either rekeying the locks or changing the new locks or fixing the stuck door handle, all worked great and perfectly with the very reasonable prices. Besides his services, he always let me know what other issues my lock or door might have and what kind of materials I may need to get, etc. This saved me a lot of time searching online and wandered which size or what product to use. Joe is my first to call locksmith since I met his first time and will definitely keep doing that. Mike G. read more

Joe turned out to be the best locksmith after an extended search. He gave me directions on what to purchase and where to purchase it from just over the phone. You don't meet such honest people these days. His advice was instrumental in purchasing the ideal front door lock. When it came to installation, Joe was meticulous down to the last turn on a screw, the turn pressure of the knob, the seal of the door, and the last squeak of the joint. I almost think he has OCD like me trying to make everything perfect. Overall, if you want something done right on your lock, you want something fair in cost or just an honest opinion, this is the guy. I have also recommended him to my neighbor so he's probably going to be our blocks designated Lock Smith. read more

Joe came by to install a deadbolt on my neighbor's garage door, and we decided to have him do several garage doors at the same time. He was quick, friendly, and gave us extremely fair price! I even offered to pay him a little more since I missed the part about the cash discount and he refused to take my extra money. read more

Joe is such a professional and exceptional locksmith. He called ahead, arrived on time, and worked efficiently; above & beyond most service technicians. He was honest about fixing my Mom's 25-year-old locks and didn't try to upsell or price gouge. He is worth the money and I recommend him wholeheartedly. Always professional, prepared, honest, courteous and fair! Any review otherwise, as you can see from alllll of his glowing reviews, is an unfair review and should not be given credibility especially during covid when an individual business owner with such stellar reviews continues to serve people in their homes at his own risk!! Fast and friendly, have your list ready! He get's aright to it! We set up an appointment a few days out to have our 100 year old cottage re-keyed! Joe confirmed his eta and was at our home on time. I walked him thru the project, handed him my list and he flawlessly finished re-keying 8 doors in less than 45 minutes. Joe is very skilled and in just a few more minutes he changed the orientation of one of the door knobs and locks that was out of sync with all the rest. It required a special tool that he had on his truck. His quick fix took care of something that had bugged me for years. We'll be doing an addition soon and will use his services for at that time too. Joe is my GO-TO locksmith and door guy. I own a business in Yorba Linda in a rented space and the old doors on the building to our store were just awful. Joe has been such an amazing resource. I call/text him anytime we have an issue. He has done everything for us from simple lock fixes to completely rebuilding the mechanical function of our front doors. Anytime I have the slightest issue, he makes time to stop at our store and take a look at the problem. Not only is he great at what he does, he's friendly, approachable, and respectful, too. I find his prices to be very fair for the work he does and the level of service he provides. I would recommend him as a 10/10 for anyone looking for this type of service. read more
