3-5-2026 This was by far the best and quickest service ever. NADER MOZAFFARI was the technician who came out, and he called twice to confirm the location and upon arrival. The entire thing was resolved in about 20 minutes! He was extremely polite, professional, and swift. I have definitely locked myself out of my vehicle probably around 15 times in my life. So, he could notice that there were some scratches on my car door window from previous incidents. He told me that he does warn customers that there might be damage beforehand, since it is a liability and skill issue. I've encountered technicians that use a lot of different tools to open the car door, and he actually used some sturdy-looking pads in between the air pump, which provided a cushion. I usually go with AAA because it is sometimes better than my car roadside (gave me an hour estimate). He also gave me two pens at the very end and that honestly made my day because today was one of the most stressful days of my life. And I had been better about not locking myself out of my car lately. It was extremely serendipitous to find out that my car keys were safely retrieved. I very much appreciated his formalities at the end. He took the time to explain the company that he works for asked me if I had any questions. This was a very different experience from some other times I waited where I didn't quite feel comfortable or in good hands. I recommend Surfside Lock and Key without a doubt! Be aware of this deceit! We called for a key replacement yesterday. Ryan came out and quoted $420 in cash and would come back today to make it. My daughter's friend had one completed the day before by Josh for $320 for a push start fob. So he called his guy Josh and he came out and made the key for less. I reported this to Triple A and working on notifying BAR. Not right to not be honest and charge similar pricing. Very disappointed since I have been a member of Triple A for over 40 years. read more

Hello, AAA referred this company to me because I had to have a new key fob made for my car because I had lost the other one and had no more spare key fobs. This was done in September 2025 we are now in Jan 2026 and my key fob completely died on me this morning. I changed the battery and still nothing. I called the guy that came out to do my key fob the first time and was totally no help at all and even tried to lie say that they don't travel far to where my home is located when they literally did that day and I have proof. Worth every dime, they only charge me $160 if I went to Nissan it would've been $550 for the key fob. 4/22/2018: My Honda key fob was broken. I'd ordered 2 new blanks on line. After transferring the chip from the broken fob to the new fob Surfside cut me a new key. They were professional, friendly and gave me a great price. I was back in business. Fast forward to 2/12/2020: I had an important meeting and for the life of me I couldn't find my car keys. Luckily, two years earlier, I kept the metal key from the broken fob. I phoned Surfside and even though it was late in the day they didn't turn me down. Let me just say wow! I am a AAA member and unfortunately I was locked out of my car while filling up gas at Costco last night 3/1. I called membership services and they dispatched a locksmith at 8 pm last night. They told me it would take about 30-45 mins for the locksmith to arrive. Within 10 mins I get a call from "Mehdi" the locksmith who was dispatched for my car. He let me know he was on his way and showed up 5 mins later!
