I've been going to SureFire CPR for certifications in the past and this was my first time to their new location in Monterey Park. The facility is easy to get to and clean, with comfy chairs and free coffee and snacks. The class was very good and the instructor gave real life examples that made the time go by much quicker. Had to get my BLS renewed ASAP. I called late on a Friday afternoon, and Chelsea answered all my questions. I opted for the online training, completed it Saturday afternoon, which then allowed me to attend a face to face Skills Check on Sunday morning. My instructor Alex was incredibly informative and efficient! My BLS eCard was sent to me within hours. Took this class to meet my cna job qualifications. Upon arrival the facility was clean and the front desk receptionist was very nice. Once in the class the instructor Brenna Doyle was nice as well and approachable. The class and hands on portion was exactly what I needed, she gave us feedback on our compressions and how deep to go on adult and child, if I had any questions she was sure I understood the process and why it needed to be a certain way. She made the class enjoyable and not boring as some would say. read more

I love going to SureFire! They are a great company to go to. Everyone of the instructors are either nursing students, nurses, emts, paramedics, or firefighters that worked in the healthcare field one way or another or are working towards that goal. All the instructors are great and very helpful and stop and ask you if you have any questions to make sure that they are making themselves clear. Took ACLC for the first time, and while much of the material was review from nursing school, it was fantastic to apply this information and strengthen it. The class was taught by two Ray's, both of them very knowledgeable in the material as well as life experince performing all these skills. Truly cannot praise these guys enough!! I would recommend this course to anyone who needs or wants the certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support. Staff are so helpful - Mikayla sent text reminders with details, quickly responded to technical difficulties (AHA's per assessment link was not working, and they easily resolved it), and called to check in when I was running late the day of the class. I had to do a virtual class for Fire Safety because of COVID, but for having to be present for 4 hours it was not bad at all. Very informative and involving! The videos were not boring & we finished 30min early. I was even able to have my two toddlers present because of a last minute babysitting cancellation. Would definitely recommend! I have an upcoming BLS in person class, I will update my review if I run I to any problems, but it doesn't look that way. read more
