I won't mention the name, but I believe it is the largest in the nation. Service levels steadily declined, but they made up for it by steadily increasing their prices. After reaching the breaking point, I looked for alternatives. I found Knox Security headquartered in Scottsdale, but with nationwide connections. Here's what I learned. The hardware is better by far than that of "Brand X". The service is vastly superior to that of "Brand X". I actually dealt with human beings who were responsive, professional, and friendly. Best of all, I now pay less than half per month as I did with "Brand X". Had I made the move two years earlier, I'd have an additional thousand dollars in my pocket. I should have made "Brand X" into "Brand Ex" long ago. I've now had Knox on board for a month. It works great. It's easy to use. It looks great. And my monthly cost is less than half what it was.

They could also install a wired mesh system which would then help the wired cameras. We are a tad rural and have to use Starlink. It will take a day or so for the owner to do the work and it wasn't cheap but it was 100% doable. We will also have access from our betas through a mobile app. Eagle said they could do nothing for us without an internet company like Cox. The estimator honestly wanted to get out of there as soon as he could. I am sure they are a competent company but if you want a system that isn't Google or something similar, look elsewhere. They also said we had to pay some kind of monitoring fee which I did not want as we have an ADT alarm system we have to pay for .

My son set off the alarm twice by accident... police were at my door in mins. & verified my identity. The second time my relatives set off my alarm accidentally... I called today and spoke to Sara to get a timeline on the form and share their network is still trying to connect and sending us notifications. She seemed to get upset and note it was just her and Lucas running the company and there is nothing she could do it. I told her I understand but she started to blame the new company we went with and said they needed to take care of it. She seemed very confused and ended up hanging up on me because I asked her not to call me sweetheart. After hanging up she called back 10 min later and gave me a new name of Brandy and when I questioned if she was Sarah or brandy she said she had two names. Never acknowledged that she hung up and just noted she sent a note to IT and kept calling me honey and sweetheart. Just really bizarre behavior. The cameras - At first they were great, but then started to lag greatly. (We did upgrade the WiFi and all that) the doorbell was hit or miss sometimes it would record and other times it wouldn't and then eventually stoped working. When we would call to have someone come out they said someone would get back to us but they never would. The monthly price is low at 29.99 which is a big sell but you get what you pay for. We have our security system with Vivant and decided to switch our cameras with them and it ended up being the same monthly price but a company that has great customer service and responsive.
