I used Super Shuttle in the past and have always been happy with the service - from customer reps answering my questions to drivers who were very polite. When I took SS to the Phoenix Airport on Nov. 16th, the driver was on time and the trip van fine. The experience and ride returning to Phoenix was HORRIBLE! I called from Albuquerque to confirm my return van reservation but I kept getting cut off because they (a phone advertisement) kept offering me a promotional trip deal, which I wasn't interested in. I finally talked to a "real" person who said she had no return reservation for me. It took about 15 minutes to make a new reservation because she was had a sore throat and I could hardly hear her....and believe me, I am truly sorry when someone is ill and has to work. When I arrived in Phoenix, there were no clear directions as to where to wait for the van, so I wandered back and for looking for a sign or person from SS to help me. I finally found the employee (kind of hard to locate) who told me when my van would arrive. (about 30 min. later). It was about 3:45-4 PM. The traffic on the freeway was beginning to slow and the driver took an alternative route down Grand Ave. (I am assuming he was told to do this). Because of construction the trip was stop and go and the real problem for me, was, that every time we stopped at a light, the driver started texting. I was shocked! Toward the end of the trip, one of the other passengers asked me if van service was always this bad because this was the first time she had used this service. I replied, "I"ve used SS before, but this was the worst!!" I called "quality assurance" a couple days later, and talked to "Tim". When I told him about my experience and the texting driver, he said something like "Well, that's not good," and offered a refund for this return trip. I called my bank a few days later to see if there had been a credit issued from Super Shuttle. There was none. I emailed the Customer Care Center about this whole situation, and was supposed to get a response in 3-5 business days. There was no email response from them. It was only after calling my bank again that I learned there was a credit issued from SS on Dec. 13th I will never use Super Shuttle again. There is no "customer care" sevice as far as I am concerned so I will look for alternative van service should I need it. read more

We used Super Shuttle for a round trip from Sun City West to Sky Harbor and back. They were tremendous, staff was very courteous and helpful. We received a call the night before to tell us what time our driver would arrive in the morning; he was on time and helpful. Drop off was on time with time to spare. Our flight coming back to AZ was delayed. When we arrived we called Super Shuttle and the dispatcher told us where to go and that she would notify the driver where we were. We arrived at location and a Super Shuttle agent told us our driver would be there in under 20 minutes. Van arrived in 10 minutes with a pleasant and helpful driver. We have used Super Shuttle in the past because of their great service and will continue to use them in the future and recommend them to our friends. After reading some negative Yelp reviews, with some trepidation, I booked online from Sky Harbor airport to my West Valley destination. When I arrived at the super shuttle stop, people were just climbing into a van going in the direction in which I needed to go, but the driver told the dispatcher he had a pickup at another terminal and couldn't take me. The dispatcher told me it would be a 10-12 min wait time and gave me the number of the next shuttle. I received a text with the same info and I resigned myself to transportation hell. To my amazement, within 5 minutes, the correct shuttle arrived with 3 passengers inside. The driver hopped out, greeted me by name, took my suitcase and stowed it in the back of the van. I had the large 2nd seat to myself and truly in not much more time than it would have taken me to drive, I was at my destination, with only 1 drop off before mine. Bob was cheerful, courteous --asking if I was getting enough air conditioning--and a good driver. The last was especially important to me because earlier in the week I was t-boned at an intersection and am still a bit shaken up, which was why I decided to use a shuttle instead of renting a car. I booked it online - with a gratuity added - and I couldn't be more pleased with the service, the drivers, the safety - everything was perfect. The pickups were confirmed; they came on time. I use SuperShuttle whenever I travel. The drivers are always polite and helpful, the staff at the airport are always polite and helpful too. They make sure to give me the ETA and the number of the van I am waiting for. It is so easy to book online and then to find them at the airport. I like the text messages that tell me how far out the driver is-it's like someone reminding me to finish up and be ready (I tend to wait till the last minute). read more

Easy to use online system, driver Gerry was an awesome guy, the change schedule call in phone system worked but the operator was a know it all and refused to believe my flight had been delayed. Saying her system didn't show the change, if I hadn't insisted we would have been at mesa airport 6 hours early.....no idea what we would have done there, so glad I took her constant reminder if I missed my flight she wasn't responsible....and what do you know we were on time for the delayed flight. Might try another ride just because of this phone call. No one wants to be told that the airline you are travelling on doesn't notify customers properly. My flight left at 11:30 AM. I wished to book the pick up for 10 AM. But that time was not presented. The closest was 9:30 which I selected. The driver texted at 8:55 that he'd arrive at 9:05! Had things to do - not wait more in frickin van. Always the first to get picked up and last to get dropped off with you form experience. This again happened - 1st to be picked up. This extra early time sucked - waited two hours at the airport for a flight that had a stop over. Left at 9:00a arrived at 6:00p. Really long day. Hate Super Shuttle. Ready to burn you in effigy! If you ever jam me up like this again, I plan to drive myself to the airport, leave your driver, and contest the bill which I should have done this morning. read more

Our driver was extremely knowledgeable about the downtown Phoenix area. He had a great sense of humor! Van was clean and appeared to be in good mechanical shape. This was the best shared-van experience I have had. It has been a few years since using SuperShuttle and their growth in the customer experience is amazing! Their IT dept. is on top of their game. I received a text when I landed directing me to the van, prompted me to check in with a tap, then proceeded to show me what van # to wait for, where it was on a map, and estimated time of arrival. For the return to the airport I was then texted the night before and also that morning of pickup with the same info. It was on-time both times and I arrived at my destination with time to spare. Had my first experience with this company. Was picked up at a friends home WAY off the beaten track near Phoenix. Driver was courteous, on time, friendly, and watching him assist an elderly passenger was commendable. Will use them every time I return there. First rate. My ONLY issue: I would rather be able to pay the driver cash and not give out my credit card # over the phone to an unknown call taker. I can see a downside for the company, but it is just a privacy issue with me, I prefer old fashioned paper money! read more

Booked online, got a confirmation number, was able to reconfirm very quickly a few days later (not necessary, but I felt better) in an automated call from my phone -- using the phone I put in the system brought up the reservation without even putting in the confirmation no. The morning of the shuttle, I called and an automated voice told me my shuttle was a mile away. I hung up, the driver called, and was there right on time. WOW. TERRIBLE experience. This is the SECOND time that I booked a ride for my wife from Pittsburgh airport to our home about 30 min away. The last time, she arrived after midnight, and there were NO shuttles, so they made her take a cab. Cab driver was HORRIBLE, doing 90 mph on the freeway, scared the hell out of her. Filed a complaint with cab company. This time, she arrives at 10:30 pm. Again, NO shuttle, ask her to get into a cab, she refuses due to issues last time. Girl at the counter, not wearing a name tag, refuses to "deal with her" and calls a police officer over. SERIOUSLY?? I was actually on the phone with my wife. My wife was NOT mean, not rude, not threatening, very calm, just didn't want to take a cab. Called the police???? I heard the officer ask, "why am I over here exactly, this is a customer service issue" EXACTLY!!! WOW. I am SOOOO Angry with this company. When you pay for a SUPER SHUTTLE, you should get a SUPER SHUTTLE, not a CAB!!! And then for the girl to call a police officer over because she "didn't want to deal with it" COME ON! Beware...she works at the Pittsburgh airport, caucasian, long brown hair. Just watch out for her. SO RUDE! read more

If I could give this particular driver a negative rating I would. Van #524 picked us up first, circled around and picked up a couple other people. After the last passenger was on board he says to her, well due to much protest we will be dropping you off first. Ok well first of all the driver never asked us, the other passengers and closer drop offs if that would be ok. 20 minutes into the ride I ask if he, the driver lives near us(myself and my husband) and he says "yes you just figured that out". Ok, I sat on my tongue for an hour and a half while he took the other two and further out passengers home first, so that it would be more convenient for him. Once we arrived home and luggage was on the ground I asked him if it was customary for drivers on their last drop offs of the night to make it more convenient for them than the customers at that point so the drivers can get home faster. His answer was they are allowed a 2 mile radius and some other hooey that 1. didn't answer my question at all and 2. was not even closed to an apology for taking an ,hour and a half longer than it should have to get us home. I asked him so logically even if he had dropped us off first he would have been coming home the same route which means he would have been home in the same amount of time. No answer from the driver, and he went screeching off down our road, angrily and at record speed. We have had other drivers that were much more polite, professional, efficient and much better representatives for this company. If you see Van #524 run the other direction, get a taxi, it will be cheaper and take a lot less time in the long run. read more

My husband and I travel a lot. It's rare that we don't use Super Shuttle to get us to and from the airport. The drivers and staff are always so nice and professional. The website is soooo, totally user friendly. The price is unbeatable. If you need a ride to or from the airport to your home, business, or hotel and don't mind a shared ride service..... Super Shuttle is the way to go. I wish they were available at every airport!!!!! read more

For the second time in 6 weeks my wife and I have experienced a total failure of service from Super Shuttle. In November I booked a prepaid express shuttle at Las Vegas airport to North Las Vegas. When we arrived we were told it would be a 90 minute wait for a van. I said no we have a reservation. I was told there was nothing could be done. We canceled the van and took a cab. Two weeks ago I had booked a prepaid express ride for last night from Phoenix Sky Harbor to Queen Creek. I checked in on line when we landed and again when we got our luggage. When we arrived at the pickup point I was told it would be at least a 45 minute wait. Again I said no we have a prepaid reservation. I was told it didn't matter there was nothing they could do as there were no vans available. We canceled the ride and took a cab again. I took the first situation as a fluke but now know the Super Shuttle has no desire to offer good service. I will never book with Super Shuttle again. read more

I will never use the Super Shuttle from or to the airport in Phoenix again. I arrived in a wheel chair and with crutches and gave the driver my pre-paid voucher to my hotel. He took a deep sigh, pause and then said that when he got vouchers he would loose money. He continued (in front of all the other passengers) to berate the voucher and then asked me how much it cost me. The lady sitting next to me stated to me(I totally agreed) when we arrived at the hotel, that he was very unprofessional and inappropreate to say the least. It got worse. A week later on my return from the hotel to the airport the driver watched me on crutches approach and open the van door. Then he asked me if I going to use their services. (dah!) While I am struggling with my luggage, crutches and trying to enter the van, he finally removed his nose out of his cell phone and said my luggage needed to go in back. I asked him to please help me with my luggage since I was unable to do it. He finally took my luggage as the people working at the hotel saw what was happening and ran out to help. He never even attempted to help me in the van even while I struggled to get in. He then asked me it I had a voucher. He knew I did because I confirmed my reservations the day before. It appears to be the kiss of death to pre-pay to use the Shuttle. It means you will be treated and spoken to unprofessionally. When we finally arrived at the airport, he again never even attempted to help me out and he just left my luggage on the curb several feet away from me. The people at the airport had to retrieve my luggage and bring it to me, while the driver coulln't get back into the van fast enough. I wll not even get into his weaving in and out of traffic without using his signals the entire time we were on the road. These two drivers had the custmer service skills of neanderthals. read more

Horrible experience! Terrible attitude and customer service from driver who somehow still managed to get a tip (My Credit Card Got Charged Without My Consent). I'M FURIOUS!!! I have used super shuttle several times in the past 3 years when I travel to Phoenix. Some drivers are friendly, some aren't but the service gets done. No complain. This last time however the driver (van 315, not sure if it is used by one person or more) he was extremely disrespectful and condesding, and just plain rude. First, instead of asking me politely to move or just say excuse me when I tried to get into the van, he said "how am I supposed to get the luggage if you don't move" at the moment I was so shocked. Is one of those new bigger and taller vans. There was enough space for him to get the luggage in after I had sat down. I moved aside.Then, he angryly ordered me to place the car seat (I was traveling with an infant). I proceeded to do it in the second seat row to which he yell at me "not there, it doesn't go there, in the back seat, in the back". As if I was stupid for not knowing where it goes. A few days earlier another driver from super shuttle had taken us to the airport and said nothing about where to place the car seat so I did it on the second row as I do in my own car. Had no problem then. Well, my baby's carseat didn't fit on the third row seat as it is supposed to be at certain inclination. I tried to explain that to the driver who came into the van and push the carseat down to show me that it did. I told him that it fits if it's not a the proper inclination which is problematic, to no avail. I wanted to get out of there but my mother was already sitting in the other seat with my baby in her arms, both exhausted. I managed to locked the carseat and placed my baby in it even though it wasn't at the correct inclination (in retrospect I shouldn't have done that as it isn't safe). Anyway, the point is the driver kept acting like he was doing us a favor unwillingly for a service we prepaid. I still can't believe how I was able to control myself, perhaps because after a six hours flight with my 11month old I didn't have energy to argue with that man. Of course I didn't tip the guy, I always reserve my right to tip drivers according to their customer service. Well somehow my credit card was charged $5 extra. I checked my bank statement a few days later, there it was. No explanation or email for the charges from super shuttle. The private prepaid service was reserved several weeks in advance ($57 each way) so how or why they charged me another $5. I don't know, unless, the driver had access to my credit card and tip himself. SHAMELESS!! I have tried calling super shuttle to inquire about it, but unfortunately had no luck. Will email them but I doubt I will use their service again. they must protect customers information from unauthorized people and also their well being (from unprofessional drivers in this case). I booked a reservation in Jacksonville Florida on May 27, 2017 for a pickup at the Train Station. We were late getting to our destination about 3 hours, so I booked another reservation for pickup and was told to go online to request a refund or credit for the 1st reservation. I did that thru the contact tab on the website. Received a ticket # and never heard from SS. I checked my credit card to see if there was a credit adjusted to my card. No it wasn't. So today (July 7, 2017) I decided to call because I wanted to use the credit for an upcoming trip. Call two times and each time was disconnected. On the third call, I was told to call back on Monday before 4:00 AZ time. Office closes at 4. It was 4:02PM. It shouldn't take me over a month for somewhere to get back in touch with me. Now I'm wondering who is monitor the requests on the website. So on Monday (during working hours) I will have to take the time to call and hopefully get this resolved. read more

Another horrible experience with SuperShuttle today. After using other services because of previous deteriorating service from SuperShuttle, I took a chance and booked them again. Bad decision. Trip Res ##6670510. Driver arrived 40 minutes after scheduled pick up. Driver could barely speak English. Driver got lost due to inability to use his tablet GPS to find my house. Driver was erratic, at best, and seemed confused between the meaning of red lights and green lights. I had bet that someone was paying attention to the poor levels of service and working to take action to correct them. Bad bet. Having drivers who can read and speak English would seem to be a pretty basic requirement. Then, the big step of being "on-time" would seem to inject some value into your business proposition. Perhaps a few "secret shopper" rides would be helpful to those responsible for fixing the rapidly evaporating service. You guys must be becoming the "poster child" for Uber! To add insult to injury, when speaking with your customer service, their solution was "write to us on our website". Really? I get to pay for running through an airport due to your bad service and "write to us on the website" is the solution? Wow, maybe customer service started out as drivers? Same attitude prevails. read more

I have used Super Shuttle while I was in Scottsdale, AZ, visiting my condo in the past and my information should have been in the system. When I got online and filled out the required information to make the reservation a note popped up and said that they did not service my area and asked me to call an 800 number which I did. The service representative in reservations tried to assist me, but the same message popped up for her and kicked her out of the system also. She then transferred me to dispatch who said they didn't have the ability to make reservations and they were going to send me to reservations. I explained that reservations had just transferred me to them so they decided to transfer me to a supervisor in reservations. The manager did assist me with the reservation, but then told me that I would have to pay a service fee for that assistance. I tried repeatedly to explain that I had tried to make the reservation myself, but had gotten a message while I was on the computer to call an 800 number that was provided to me because the reservation could not be completed on the computer. When I called that number even the service rep at the 800 number from his own company had the same difficulty I had and could not complete the reservation. I felt that under the circumstances I should not have to pay the fee. If anything I should have gotten an apology after having been transferred around four different times and wasting more than a half hour of my time. I was told that regardless of the situation I would have to pay the service fee if he made the reservation for me. The bottom line is very poor customer service and even worse PR skills. I just couldn't believe that was coming from a manager. I did not complete the reservation and will be using uber in the future instead of Super Shuttle. read more

My husband and I have used super shuttle several times without any issues but this past Saturday that was not the case. I had reserved a share ride from PHX to our home in Cave Creek. First off the attendant at the curb side check in looked very rough and I'm not real sure he wasn't on something and you couldn't understand him. We were trying to check in with him and acted like we were crazy and in the process of checking in another passenger came up and he rudely cut us off and proceeded to talk with her and check her in. We have never waited more than 15 minutes for our ride and this time it was close to an hour and then our driver had to wait another 15-20 minutes in case there were other passengers. She was very nice and good driver but by the time we actually left the airport I was a little frustrated. SS also didn't send us a survey so I'm thinking they knew it wouldn't be a good one. read more

I have never had a more horrible experience with customer service. I booked online for shuttle service to and from the airport and paid for everything in advance, gratuity included. This is the first time I've used Super Shuttle per the recommendation of a friend. The experience getting to the airport was fine, even though the driver was 25 minutes early from the assigned time. Whatever, I just got through TSA earlier and at least the driver was perfectly friendly and professional. But the experience of the trip from the airport back to my office was horrible. First off the older lady manning the benches was quite rude. She actually yelled "no" to me as I walked towards a van that just arrived to ask if that's the van I'm going to be using. A simple and courteous explanation would have been sufficient, but she just had to treat me like I'm a two-year old or a dog. I previously showed her my confirmation number (from a screenshot on my iPad as Super Shuttle did not even email me the information) and I assumed everything was fine. I was getting dropped off to my office which was about a couple of miles away from the airport and I hadn't encountered any problems before then. So the lady gets me to a van and we're on my way to to my office. I get dropped off and the driver asks me for the fare. I'm like, "What? I already paid for everything online!" He explained that the lady didn't give him a confirmation number and apologized. He was polite at least and said he didn't want me to pay twice, but I was just so tired after a long flight that I just wanted him go away and for me to get my car from my office garage and get home. So I paid again, plus 30% gratuity as I hate tipping badly (and it honestly wasn't his fault). But you can bet that I will never use this service again and I will not be recommending Super Shuttle to family and friends! read more

I made a reservation for pick up at arrival in Phoneix on a Friday at 3:25. First, I had a great deal of difficulty finding the van. After wandering for five minutes, I found an airport employee who pointed out the Super Shuttle rep who was standing at a distance across two lanes of transportation vehicles, with the SuperShuttle emblem on her shirt so small I only saw it when we were face to face. She was friendly and called in my arrival and the van picked me up with in 5 minutes. I took the last available seat. The driver was polite and headed away from the airport. I was concerned for our safety as for the entire first 15 minutes of our drive he juggled between using a large screen monitor, a GPS, his phone, a machine that plugged in to print receipts, and a clip board that he passed back to sign the receipts. It was ridiculous. He barely looked at the road as he constantly checked at these electronic devices, punching buttons, making calls, scrolling on screens, printing receipts.....ALL WHILE DRIVING! After the first drop off, he focused a bit more on the driving until I was dropped off a few minutes later. He was polite as he dropped me at the hotel, but I can't help but feel we were all at terrible risk as he tried to drive while running basically operating his business behind the wheel. I liked the convenience, the price was reasonable, but I DID NOT like feeling like we were at risk of an accident every moment of our drive due to the drivers numerous distractions. read more
