Then after leaving airport. Driver returns to terminal again for additional passenger. Still on shuttle 90 minutes after confirmed pick up time. Hope we will get there!!!! read more

Received a text at 4:30 when my plane landed explaining out to check-in like they promised when I booked. I had no luggage to collect so I checked-in as I followed the signs to the pick-up area and received the text message at 4:44 confirming my check-in. At 4:56 I received a text telling me the vehicle # and a link to locate the shuttle. At 5:14, I received a call from the driver asking me where I was. Seriously? I'm at the location you all told me to go to! At 5:22 I get a text saying I'm reassigned to a new shuttle. Confused? So was I. About 10 minutes passes when a shuttle pulls up and it is the driver that I spoke to and he wasn't there to pick me up. My shuttle finally arrived. The driver was nice enough, didn't interact with us much. I closed my eyes at one point because the driver veered into a neighboring lane. At one point the driver was moving his empty red drink cup and empty water bottle around while driving and they landed on the floor. A little messy. He at least got me to the hotel fast after my long day. read more

My friend and I had an AWFUL experience using Super Shuttle in Orlando!! We booked a round trip, with pick up at 1:00am on Saturday morning and drop off at 4am on Monday morning. Paid, got the confirmation, everything seemed good. A little pricey, as it was more expensive than just taking Uber but since we were arriving and leaving at weird times we wanted to secure a ride just in case. We land in Orlando on time, and head straight to the shuttle pick up area, confirming that we are ready to be picked up. They don't provide us a van number, and about 10 minutes later a car pulls up. He asks us if we are supposed to be on his ride, and we show that we still haven't been assigned a ride. He tells us that he is the last ride of the night, and that he needs to call in to add us to his ride or we won't have a ride at all. This is the only redeeming quality of this company, as this specific driver didn't leave us stranded, but it all goes downhill from there. The driver was AWFUL at driving, swerving the entire ride and getting really close to cars in front of him and not backing off. Awful to deal with for over an hour. Finally get to our airbnb, get out, fine. Well on the morning of pick up, we get a call and text an hour before pickup time notifying that they cancelled our trip FOR NO REASON. If I have already paid, I expect to get service!! If you are looking for a secure ride to or from the airport late at tonight, THIS COMPANY IS NOT FOR YOU!!! read more

Over promise and under deliver is no way to run a business! Super Shuttle took my money and confirmed a pick up for me at the Orlando airport but did not send a shuttle. My flight was delayed and didn't arrive until 2am, but I didn't make my reservation until a few minutes before my flight departed at 11pm, so I didn't expect an issue. When I arrived the web check in went smoothly but when I called for a status check I knew there was a problem. After being told that they had located a driver and that they would TRY to get him to pickup, I was told a van was minutes away. When 10 minutes passed, I called again and was told there were no vans. I asked for a credit and an explanation but was disconnected before I got either. I ended up taking a taxi which was quick and convenient. I just wish I hadn't wasted an hour of my life. read more

Great service, friendly driver and loved that they send you a text when your flight arrives to let you know where the driver is in real time via a link that you can click on and also gives you an option to contact the driver and he called back in minutes! Recommend them and will use them again. read more

I have used Super Shuttle in Boston, MA and Berkeley, CA without any problems. I was quite happy when they opened up for service in Orlando, Fl where I currently live. We used Super Shuttle to go to the airport in June, 2014. We got to the airport in a timely manner and the driver was kind. However on the way back we ran into problems. We called Super Shuttle and they arrived a few minutes later. However the driver had another call from someone in the airport. My family of 3 and a single women were left in the van while the driver searched the airport for the last passenger. The driver spent 45 minutes looking for the last passenger while we waited. The driver never found the last person. It would have been faster to take a local bus. We decided to give Super Shuttle a second chance. Our most recent trip is the reason for the one star. We prepaid for tickets to and from the Orlando airport. Again we arrived in a timely manner. We came back on December 31, 2014 at 11:45 pm. We tried to call Super Shuttle, but nobody was picking up the pone. We finally just went to the area in which Super Shuttle picks passengers up. A group of people were waiting and two of them had reached Super Shuttle and told us they would be arriving shortly. At 12:30 Pm a driver arrived. He took the two people that called into the van first. We told the driver we had reservations, he looked it up and found that we had in fact pre paid. The couple that arrived after us had not pre-paid or called the company. Yet the driver put them in the van and not us. The driver took all the passengers but us and told us that another Supper Shuttle would be arriving shortly. My 2 year old son was quite tired so we laid him on the sidewalk on my husbands jacket and we laid my sweater on top of him. We looked like homeless people. at 1:00 am I called Super Shuttle to inquire where the van the was. I told the operator what happened and she was appalled. She tried to call dispatch and nobody was picking up the phone. For 20 minutes she tried to call dispatch to no avail. I finally hung up the phone. At 1:30 am I called dispatch directly and I received no answer. I waited for 30 minutes and nobody picked up the phone. At this point the original driver could have dropped off his passengers and come back for us. Apparently he knew he did not care that we were stuck a the airport due to his inept service. At 2:00 Am we finally gave up and took a cab home. We paid with a credit card so we could get a receipt. The following day I called Super Shuttle to file a complaint. They told me that the corporate office would get back to me the next day. I received no call so I called the day after. I finally reached corporate. The man on the phone stated he had got our case, and it was all our fault for not "calling" Super Shuttle for letting them know we were at the airport. I told him we called both before and after the driver arrived. He said that each driver is independent and they were not responsible for their behavior. I told him I wanted both my money back and money for the taxi. The corporate office stated that paying us back was not their policy. They could pay us for the super Shuttle ride we did not take, and difference between that price and the taxi service. I accepted the offer and soon received an email, that we needed to scan the taxi receipt to them. Which we did. Despite this they only refunded us the money for the Super Shuttle ride we did not take. I will never take Super Shuttle again no matter what city I am in. read more

We were staying at universal studio. It would have been $10 more to take a cab for 2 people. It was not worth it to endure an extra 45 minutes of problems of other passengers, and driving to destinations that were not convenient to the route. In addition we paid a tip up front and our driver told us that they only get 75% of the tip amount. We gave the balance of the tip again to the owner/driver. read more

Ride arrived 40 minutes late. The van was literally like a human oven. We had to pull over on the side of the freeway for our driver to try to find us another car. I've used SuperShuttle in other states (both the shared shuttle and private care services) and it's never been this bad. read more

The shared ride that I took to and from the airport was ontime, courteous and friendly. My return ride was particularly impressive, as the van was full but he got to me within 5 minutes of expectation, and it was rush hour. The cost was less than half of a cab cost. Recommend for sure! read more

This is a great service. Really easy to use. I booked online the day before and the service sent me very clear instructions in which to check-in after I landed at the airport. Within minutes, the SuperShuttle arrived and quickly took me to my destination. It was so easy. I loved the check-in features as well as the map that shows where the shuttle is at any given time. It's really quite key and allowed me to at least know when my shuttle was coming. Definitely would recommend! read more

After booking a last minute trip to Orlando, I decided to look into cheaper options for airport transport. I was pleasantly surprised to find the Super Shuttle was $20 (before tip) each way. Upon arriving into MCO (about 11.30 am on a Tuesday), I called to confirm, and a shuttle was there in five minutes. There were two passengers total, plus a chatty driver. I arrived at the Contemporary Resort in forty minutes (with one drop off before me). The driver used to work for Disney and was a bit bitter about being laid off, but otherwise the trip was worth the money I paid. For return, I had called two days before to move my pickup time from 4.15 am to 4.45 am (note that the company recommends insanely early pickup times so in the chance you miss your flight, they aren't responsible for fees). I was sent a confirmation email and text. The morning of, I get a call 25 minutes before my scheduled pickup. I inform the driver I had changed it to 4.45. He said it was fine, and he'd wait the ten minutes it would take me to get downstairs. When I arrived to the shuttle, I was surprised to see two other passengers waiting. I felt bad for making them wait, but calling 25 minutes before your pick up time (especially before 5 am) - not cool. It took us about 20 minutes to get to the airport. The driver dropped off the two girls first, then me. After spending 20 minutes going through security (MCO is insane but you get through security quite efficiently), I was ready to board 2 hours before my flight. I read through the other reviews (out of curiosity and because I had 2 hours to kill). It seems like if you are traveling at off-peak hours (early afternoon on weekdays or hotel pickup early on weekend mornings) and are not in a time crunch, this is a good, inexpensive option. If you are traveling during peak or late night/super early times, I would probably just spring for the taxi. Though the Mears taxis in Orlando are a little sketchy as well, they do arrive on time. Trying to get through to a person on their hotline takes a good five to ten minutes, so if you hate waiting on the phone for that long and pressing buttons to go to menus, this is probably not the choice for you. Online booking was easy, though. It's a shared ride service, which I had not used since my college years, but you have to know that going in, it's not like taking a taxi or private car. I completed my customer service surveys and noted that whoever responds to Yelp reviews tells you to do that as well. I wonder if the company utilizes that feedback. So, if you're in a hurry, it's a crapshoot if you will get picked up/dropped off in a timely manner. If you're flexible and are traveling during non-rush hour times that fall during normal waking hours, it's worth the $20. read more

What a ride! First, my flight was scheduled to land at 10 and when I arrive and check in, the van they've assigned me is 25 miles away. Ok. Then they text and tell you the vehicle number to look for but not which bay to meet it at. So I finally get on the shuttle and the driver is off and on the brake and it's not because there's traffic. Just one of those people who slows down, speeds up, repeat. Then he runs a ref light. I'm just sick that I've already paid for my return trip with them!!! read more

Super? No. Waited an hour after booking online. With three tired kids. Couldn't get an answer on where to meet the shuttle, when they will actually arrive or why they were an hour late. When I say couldn't get an answer, it was because I was told different things or HUNG UP ON. Apparently, Super Shuttle needs more responsible drivers. Sounds like no one has control over the ones providing the service? Do they just work on their own schedule? That's what I was told by...Super Shuttle. I had a terrible experience. Long story short, I landed AF midnight, and didn't get to my hotel until 2:30 a.m. This is a horrible way to start a vacation. My hotel was only a 14 mile / 20 minute drive from the airport. This is exactly the kind of service that is too inefficient and customer unfriendly to last. Avoid it, take a taxi, or plan for an incredibly long commute. read more

My family recently took a trip to Orlando. We scheduled and paid for pick up at the airport to the hotel and the return trip back to the airport, this was done 3 months prior to our trip. There were three of us, myself, my husband and my adult daughter. When we got to Orlando we were told where to pick up the shuttle. When the van got there they told us the only had our daughter scheduled to pick up so my husband had to call and wait for another shuttle (after being put on hold for about 45 minutes). My daughter was leaving Orlando a few days before us. On the day that my daughter was to be picked up at the hotel they called us at 5:00am and said they didn't have a shuttle and she had to find another way to the airport, which cost her at least 3 times more than the shuttle. The day before my husband and I were suppose to leave he called supershuttle to confirm that we were all set to be picked up the next morning and confirmed the time. The day we were to leave they again called at 5:00am and let us know they didn't have a shuttle to pick us up and had to find another way to the hospital. When my husband let them know that he called the day before and confirmed we were all set and they said we were, the person on the phone was rude and said "Do I need to tell you again that we don't have a shuttle" and hung up. I will never use this service again, I will rent a car instead to take a cab. I've repeated this story to everyone I know since many of them travel on business or vacations. Stranded by Super Shuttle Company in Florida. We have used Super Shuttle for travel for myself, my grandmother, boss and other family in CA multiply times and I have never been stranded. I was in Florida to help my mother after her surgery. My grandmother (who is 95 yrs old) and I set up a ride from my mom house to the Orlando Airport. We had a 6:05 flight, so Super Shuttle was picking us up at 3:25 am. I received a call from them at 2:20 am to inform me that they didn't have a driver to pick us up. I asked her how I was suppose get to the Airport and she informed me that I could try a taxi, Uber or Lyft. She made the statement that she was giving us a credit like that was supposed to get us to the airport. It is now almost 3:00 am after calling a couple of place to see if we could get a ride to the airport which was unsuccessful and we have to leave my mom's house by 3:25 am in order to get to the airport in time for our flight. We had to use my mom's car and leave it at the airport parking and find someone to pick up the car. By the time we got to the airport we almost didn't make the plane. This really added so much stress to an already stressful time. If we would have been contacted the day before I would have set up a ride to stay at a hotel and take the hotel shuttle to the airport. What transport company leaves someone stranded knowing that we are flying out at a set time and waits to the last minute to let us know. read more

Wow was this service a big disappointment. We were scheduled for pick up at 12:50 for a 5pm flight - which was plenty of time as the airport was an hour and 15 minutes away. At 1:1:5 we noticed on our app that the shuttle was over an hour away. I called the driver to confirm his location but no answer. The 4th time I called he finally picked up and said he was on his way but was near Anna Marie island. When I got off the phone I realized that was over an hour away. At this point it's was 1:30. I called the driver back 4 or 5 more times. No answer. Called the company and the customer service was so bad I had to hang up. At this point it was 2;15 and we had to make a decision on how to get to the a/p or we would miss our flight. There were 10 of us so we needed to call 2 Uber's. That was double the cost of what the shuttle would've cost. SuperShuttle made no effort to reimburse us for the pain of the whole situation and the fact that it doubled our cost. Needless to say I will NEVER use their service again. The customer service was awful (when they finally got around to answering) and the driver was completely incompetent as it appeared in the app that he was driving north when he needed to be heading south to pick us up. I just received a check to compensate us for the extra cost of having to use an uber. While it wasn't the full amount we still appreciate it! read more

If flight delays causes the shuttle to delay its services for over an hour, there needs to be a policy in place that informs the customers of the delay. It is unreasonable to wait for an hour an 20 minutes to get taken home. Had I known that I wouldn't have been picked up after my flight, I would have used a different service. Because of this, I will not use this company again. The drivers were friendly and it's not anyone's fault but whomever writes the policy. I am quite livid. read more

7/13 Sunday 6:45 we arrived in Florida. The confirmation email told us that it will come pick us up. We were waiting for a while but did not show up. My husband went to go call them and they said that why didn't we call them. My husband replied by saying that there was no clear instructions on the confirmation email and we didn't know. They said if we don't call, how would they know if we are at the airport... So they said they will pick us up. But after waiting for another 45 minutes, they didn't come so I called again. They kept transferring me to different lines and finally they connected me to Orlando. They said they still haven't sent a shuttle because there's no drivers and vans. I asked him how much longer and they said that they don't. The very rude phone operator said he will just cancel the trip. And I wanted to ask about the refund but he hung up. Overall he was so rude. This happened to multiple friends from Japan. We have never experienced such a bad service. read more

Driver was over 40min late and came to the wrong address (calling me to ask what the gate code was, even though I do not live in a gated community). Dispatch communications with me were terrible; multiple times I was told the driver was "on the way" until I finally had to drive myself to the airport at the last minute. My card was charged anyway, for service I did not receive. No one who answers a phone with this company can issue you a refund; you must file a complaint on their website. I did so a week ago and thus far, have gotten no communication from anyone (only an auto-generated "we've received your email"). I am reporting them to the BBB for Orlando. read more
