Arriving in Orlando was chaotic and really frustrated. Going home was easy, therefore I gave them 2 stars instead of 1. (I've used SuperShuttle in Anaheim before, but maybe since Orlando is way busier, I had a worse experience here.) After retrieving my luggage in baggage claim, I called to check in with them. They instructed me where to stand, and found a large group waiting as well. I was worried that it would take long, considering the people outside waiting already. Oh boy was I right! It took over an hour for our van to pick up a group of us. What's worse was that my hotel was last in line (I was staying in the Lake Buena Vista area...so beware, if you're staying around there..be prepared to be the last ones to get dropped off). Maybe I had bad luck on who was all in my van (since they was a lot of stops for different hotels). Basically I called to check-in with them at 8pm for pick-up, and I didn't get to my hotel until 10:45pm. I didn't anticipate how long it was, that I felt light-headed by the time I got to my hotel. I was pretty grumpy, tired and hungry by the time I got to my hotel. Thank goodness my hotel's lounge stayed was open for us. However, I must admit the pick up was really easy. There was just one other party with us in the van going back to the airport. I'll take a cab next time (if I'm not planning to get a car rentals). read more

They are a horrible taxi service that left me and my daughter and three friends stranded at the airport in Orlando even though I paid in advance, set up the transportation and they never came. Then I called dispatch and was on hold for over an hour...UNACCEPTABLE! I would never use this service again. read more

I lost my phone departing from Contemporary Resort (Disney); I paid cash without any receipt, so i did not know the name of the driver or vehicle #. Super Shuttle phone lines took me hours at pay phone at Orlando Airport, total about 6 hours not getting anywhere, basically no human voice i can talk to, so frustrated. Overswamped dispatcher told me flat-out that it is impossible to trace. I almost gave up many times, but persisted and finally voila! Dispatcher supervisor Christina, she was a god-send to trace and get my phone back to me with her empathy and care. Eventually, Alexandra Vodopyanova at Super Shuttle Orlando office took it over, and she helped with equally eager assistance to expedite the shipping back of my smart phone. I previously wrote a negative review for my inbound leg (3/31/19-4/1/19) from Orlando airport and then recently updated that with a note that the company refunded the cost of that leg after my complain. In all fairness, I feel that I should also write a review for the outbound leg, which was on 4/2/19. So here it goes: In the previous review, I was contemplating getting another service for the return leg after bad service but inertia won out and I kept the original round trip reservation. I was pleasantly surprise that the outbound leg went much better. I received a timely text reminding me of the pickup window and location the day before travel. A second timely text came 1.5 h before departure showing the assigned van and the link where I can track the progress of the van. The tracking link works: while the first reminding text gave a window of arrival that is not realistic, the tracking link was good and let me know that the van was 15 min late from the appointed time so that I do not get as anxious. I give this outbound leg experience an okay rating. read more

Came to Orlando and I initially got to my hotel by using a cab. It was pretty pricey and decided to use this service instead. I booked online the day before my departure. Pretty simple to use. You put in your flight info and it automatically gives you the time options to choose from. I had an 830am departure and chose the 545-600am option. I was picked up within the scheduled time and just had to stop by another hotel to pick up some others. My driver was very professional. He made announcements when we were headed to the airport and which airlines he would be heading to first. I got to the airport with no problems. I will say that I checked into my flight ahead of time, but I don't think I would have any time issues had I not gone ahead to check in. Satisfying experience. Would definitely recommend if you're traveling by yourself and don't want to take a cab. read more

I hastily needed to find transportation from the airport to my hotel so I scheduled a pick-up service on the day of. I've used super shuttle in the past without any problems and I was glad that my reservation was accepted. For 3 travelers the cost was 51, a cheaper alternative to cab and town car fare, and they provided emails offering instructions. When we landed we called the dispatcher before collecting our baggage, walked over to the pick up area and waited 15 min for our driver. Luckily there were no other passengers and we were taken straight to our hotel easy peasy. In other cases they may take a while to pick you up so I'd call before getting to the baggage claim so the wait won't be as long. read more

Amazing service. The three times I've used super shuttle in the last month (flew in to go to Disney World.. twice), I've had a great experience. It took only about 10 minutes to leave the airport, and I was lucky enough to be the first one that was dropped off. Going to the airport took slightly longer (we had to pick up two or three more people), but I couldn't complain for the price I paid. Plan ahead to make sure you choose a pickup time that is early enough to make your flights. I'm always at the airport two hours early just to be safe, and then added in another half hour to an hour for the driving time. Also, make sure you book directly through the super shuttle website, and not some third-party site. You can tip directly on the super shuttle site. I tipped about 10%, and I have a hunch that tipping might better your experience... read more

I used this service to and from the Orlando airport. I booked online and received a confirmation with details on what to do when I arrived at the airport. I had let them know I used a cane and couldn't climb easily into a van. On both ways, the driver had me sit up front which I appreciated. The day prior to my departure, I had to change my flight time and called super shuttle. They changed my pickup time and sent me an email confirmation with the change right away. I was picked up on time and got to the airport in plenty of time-a good thing as the security lines are long. The drivers both times were courteous and helpful. The cost was reasonable and much cheaper than taking a taxi. I was very pleased with the service. read more

I emergently needed transportation, due to odd circumstances, to the airport. Through some yelp research, reviews for super shuttle were found! Feeling confident with other peoples reviews, I booked a ride. Unfortunately my first flight was cancelled, I the. In turn cancelled my shuttle reservation. They promptly refunded my money due to an unknown flight time. Rescheduling for my ride for my new flight was easy. They arrived promptly within the 15 minute time frame the offer. They sent a town car because I was the only passenger. The driver kept the car cool and drove confidently getting me to the airport in a timely fashion! I would definitely use them again! I did my research, and weighing the reviews on different shuttle services from the airport, Super Shuttle came out on top. Booked shuttle in advance, but was delayed for 12 full hours so I had to call and reschedule (which was a breeze) my arrival time. Driver arrived about 5 mins after expected pickup time, well within their estimated time frame . Clean van (felt almost like new), driver was professional, and lively. I was satisfied with the experience, going to the hotel. I am also booked with them for going to airport a couple of days from now. First time in Orlando, and I'm happy that the shuttle service was very pleasant. read more

My driver Jerry was amazing. He was very polite and personable. I used this service for both to and from the airport, and got him both times. He was there within 15 mins of our scheduled pick-up time, and considering Orlando traffic on a Friday afternoon, that is amazing. He was right on the money in getting us back to the airport, even though there was unexpected construction. The prices were very reasonable and the whole process seamless. I see some reviews on here that state very big issues. I will not say they did not happen, but I definitely did not experience similar issues. I used the application on my phone for check-in and to see where my driver was. It was accurate and easy to navigate. I would recommend this company to others, and plan to use them again in the future. My ONLY gripe, is online it states gratuity is included in the fee and there were signs in the transport saying the opposite. read more

I used supershuttle a year ago in Miami and it was the best thing ever!! I used it this weekend WORST experience ever!! I will never use it again. I booked it to take me to the airport and after waiting 30 min i called costumer service and they told me they did not know what happened with my driver so they just refunded me the money and i had to look for a different form of transportation. Then again today i arrive back from my trip to the airport and my flight arrived 30 min early i called them to verify i had a ride to pick me up in 30 min and they said yes. 15 min after my pick up time I called them AGAIN and they said that they apologize and that a van should be there in another 10 min. We were pleasantly surprised and extremely pleased with our Orlando SS experience! We arrived 2.5 hours late and before we stepped off the flight, I received a call from our pre-arranged SS driver, Harold. I never had to worry for one minute! Harold was waiting for us and told me so, at baggage claim. Since flying into unfamiliar airports always means you don't know if anyone will care that your flight left 2.5 hours late due to the President arriving in LA and all airspace being closed -- imagine how lovely to get a call before we were off the plane from Harold, our driver, who wanted us to know that we were welcomed to Orlando and that he was waiting at baggage claim! Ok - first thing I want to say is I almost never write reviews. In fact, I specifically redownloaded the Yelp app just to write this one. I booked and prepaid online for a shared shuttle from MCO to where I was staying, which was listed on the drop down menu on the website. My flight was late arriving so I checked in and expected I might have to wait a little while. After 25 minutes or so, I called dispatch because I had gotten a check in confirmation text but nothing about the shuttle itself. Dispatch (I think her name is Miranda) was polite and apologized and said she would work on it. She said it could be about 10-15 minutes. I got the text with the van number and location, but about 15 minutes later it disappeared and the van never showed up. I waited another five and called again. Miranda was very apologetic and said she was working on it. It was a significant time before I got another text confirming the van. By the time he arrived my total wait had been about 1 hour and 45 minutes. He also informed me that drivers apparently didn't want to drive in the direction of my hotel and that's why it took so long. Halfway to my hotel, dispatched asked the driver to return to the airport BEFORE dropping me off to pick up someone else going in a similar direction. I begrudgingly assented because I didn't want other people to have the same wait I did. When we picked the other people up, they commented that they were supposed to have a private car instead of a shared van. The driver didn't seem to care. To reiterate, Miranda the dispatcher was polite, apologetic and tried to help. She is the ONLY good part of this otherwise horrible experience. read more

Had a GREAT experience today with SuperShuttle! I appreciated being able to book my ticket online so I knew what the plan was once I got off the plane. I didn't have to wait long before being picked up with another group of people. The driver was very pleasant and friendly and we had a good conversation on the way to my hotel. He takes pride in his job and in being a safe driver. My only disappointment was finding out that when a coupon is used to make reservations online, the drivers don't make as much money! That is wrong in SO many ways! One last thing... Don't forget to tip your driver!! They are providing a service, and like any other service, should be tipped accordingly. read more

I used super shuttle for going from MCO to my hotel and from my hotel to MCO Airport. Confirmation For this shuttle service you aren't required to print out any confirmation sheets. Once you arrive at the airport just call the shuttle service or check in online. From MCO Airport to my hotel As soon as I arrived at the airport I checked in online and went to the ground transportation waiting area. I also got a call to let me know that they were looking for someone to pick me up since it was so late (great communication on their part). I didn't freak out at this because come on my flight was delayed and I ended up arriving at the airport at almost 2am, a time when the airport was more than half empty. I ended up waiting for the shuttle for about 40min and the driver was really nice and didn't look bothered at all at having to wake up in the middle of his sleep to pick up two night owls. From my hotel to MCO Airport For the shuttle that took me back to the airport the ride was just as pleasant. I ended up getting picked up 30min earlier than what I was schedule for but I got a call both from the driver and super shuttle so that I was aware of the change (great communication again). The driver had already picked up one person and my sister and I were the second and last stop for him. I got to the airport right on time. I would definitely use this service again in the future. read more

Poor planning and execution from the company. Landed early and checked in online. They gave me a vehicle # waited for over 30 min (the car was parked across the st from rhe pick up location). When i finally called they reassigned me a new car. They earned a star back because the driver was friendly and efficient. read more

Horrible. I was left at my hotel. My driver was set to arrive between 3:30-3:45 am. He called at 3:19am to say he had arrived and I said I was not yet ready but would be down shortly. The driver sounded calm and said this was not a problem. I got several calls while I was gathering my things and when I called back at 3:34am, I was greeted with a stressed out driver and a passenger angrily screaming in the background that they were leaving since I was not there. Before I could finish this conversation, I asked the driver if he would send another shuttle if he so desperately needed to leave, but he hung up. I ran outside to find he had left. It took me over 20 mins to get ahold of a supervisor who told me she had instructed the driver to wait until 3:45 for me. I am sure that was hard with the irate passenger behind him, but this should not have been the reason I ended up stranded at my hotel at 3:30 in the morning. The supervisor, Niya, told me she dispatched the driver to come back to get me, but by the time he responded, he was already at the airport and said he would not come back. The next shuttle was not available to pick me up until 6 am- which was when my flight was departing! I was extremely upset that this was not taken care of and I was offered no other options read more

Don't bother, my boyfriend and I booked for our weekend getaway. We landed and immediately found the pick up spot. After we checked in on the phone it took 45 minutes for them to assign us a driver! We called the customer service line after 40 minutes and magically she's like we've assigned your driver and the app updated. It still took an extra ten minutes for the driver to get to us. As soon as it pulled up myself and a group of people immediately gathered around the vehicle. The driver then started calling out the names of everyone who'd be on this trip. We luckily were the first reservation called. Most of our group but two older gentleman were called. The two who weren't on the ride were not happy. They were the first to the waiting area and waited an hour. Everyone had waited in the heat for nearly an hour and here's two customers who arrived first stick to wait longer with no sorry or explanations from the driver. The ride was quick and easy. We were the first people dropped off. We've contacted the company to let them know about our trip. All I know is never again will I book with this company. My advice to others if your taking a quick trip. Or if your staying at a resort that has shuttles to the Orlando attractions. Try Uber/Lyft we stayed about 25 minutes away on Disney property and paid Uber around the same price. We didn't wait more then five minutes to be assigned a driver. I was under the belief I would be sharing a ride in a clean, efficient van with some fellow riders. Instead I felt like I was packed into a sardine can with left over sewage water (very dirty). Not only that, my driver was short on pick upi and very rude when we reached near the destination i was seeking and had to go through s security gate. I did not have the passcode readily available (it was my first time there and I didn't think I would need one just to be dropped of) and instead of being polite as your drivers should be in a customer service industry, he was rude, and very distraught. TERRIBLE. Don't use unless you're looking to get nowhere anytime soon. We booked a cruise and pre-booked transportation to and from the airport with Super Shuttle. When we arrived at the airport, we waited a bit for our driver then gave him a call as he wasnt there and the pickup window was nearly passed. He said that he was at the airport, downstairs and we should come down. So we went to where he said he was, and he was nowhere to be found. We called him back and he said he was 10 minutes away (what??). So 20 more minutes goes buy, and we call the main dispatch number, they inform us that the driver is too far away to pick us up and that we will be getting a different driver who is 15 minutes away, which was accurate. Well since we had already booked (and paid) we thought maybe it was a fluke, and kept our remaining reservation for the ride back to the airport from port. So we get a call from our driver 15 minutes before the pickup time and he says he is 15 minutes away. 30 minutes goes by and we call home, he says he is now 45 minutes away (again, WHAT??? Were you driving the other direction??). So 45 minutes goes by, and nothing...meanwhile we are darn near gonna be late for our flight. So we ended up just getting a cab, at a SUBSTANTIAL cost for the hour long ride for 6 people to the airport. read more

I am so glad SuperShuttle is still around, I have been using them for over a decade beginning in California. This particular van was well-used, but nothing unsafe, or terribly unsafe. One safety concern was the exiting because the last step is very narrow. The van was equipped with a pole near the van entrance that you can hold on to when stepping off. This ride had 5 other people from the airport and I was the third one to be dropped off. If you don't mind sharing and are not in a terrible rush, it's recommended. read more

At 2:30 AM on the 20th I get a voice message that they don't have a van in my area for pick up. I called dispatch and was given a glib "call a taxi". Totally unacceptable business practice. Made the reservation, arrived on time and confirmed my arrival after I picked up my bags. Then I waited and waited, with no commitment for a pickup time for over an hour. I called the dispatcher three times to get an estimate and just got put off with no commitment. Half an hour in I was told that if I wait for an hour, they'll pay for a cab. After I waited for an hour they said I could complain at their website. I did. I'll let you know how that goes. I write this from an uber thinking "well that was a stupid waste of an hour." What does a reservation mean? Update: received an email saying that there are sometimes events outside their control and I'll receive a refund. I received 2 texts showing me the location of pick up and how far the van was. This was my first time booking super shuttle. It was around $18 US for a one way to your destination. It's cost effective if you are travelling alone but if you have more than 1 person splitting a taxi would be cheaper. I booked online around 5 days in advance. Filled out my flight information and I received a confirmation email shortly after. I did pay "tips" online as well. Originally I was going to put $0 as I rather tip after service but was worried I wouldn't get any service at all if I did not tip beforehand lol. On the day of departure I got a reminder email from them to "check in" on their mobile website once I landed. Once I landed the MCO airport had free wifi so I was able to connect right away and check in. They advised me of the pick up location and I waited there for half an hour. During this wait there were multiple shuttles from other hotels come by. Some of them even twice. Super shuttle mobile site does get updated and once you are matched to your car there is a visual on the website of where your car is at. My wait time was really long since the car had to stop at terminal A before it picked me up at terminal B. The shuttle finally arrived and it had super shuttle logos on it so it was recognizable. The driver asked for my name and then took my luggage. I sat in the van with 4 other ladies and children. Then we were off to our destinations . Luckily I was first to get off as my hotel was closest to the airport. It was a 15-20 min ride to Rosen shingle hotel. So from the time I landed (11:30pm) it took me 1 hour to get to my hotel room (12:30pm) The service was not so good and it was super slow. Technology of the app is good. They also have discounts year round like 10% off (via Yelp). As well it was a cheaper alternative to getting a taxi which would have costed me 40$ US at least. read more

When I did get in the van we were packed in like sardines and drove every direction in Orlando. People missed meetings and were all very frustrated by the experience. Without a doubt, the worst transportation experience I've ever had. Let me preface this with a note that I've used Super Shuttle quite satisfactorily in many cities. Not this one. I found out my flight was being delayed, so I notified Super shuttle. They said it wasn't necessary to tell them but thanked me anyway. We arrived, got our luggage, checked in and proceeded to the assigned spot to wait for our van. And wait. And wait. For thirty minutes, we waited. My phone rang and a voice says, "This is Super Shuttle. Are you coming?" I explained that I was in the location and had been for thirty minutes. The driver told me I was wrong, as he'd been here for that long. I then asked how we could find him. At that point, he began yelling at me to the point that it was unintelligible. I hung up and called the dispatcher. The dispatcher confirmed that I was in the right place and told me the driver was on his way and would not be raising his voice again. He arrived 10 minutes later with no apologies, just excuses. I told him I didn't care; it was after 11 pm and I just wanted to get to the hotel. Fine. Crisis over, right? WRONG. About 10 minutes into our 25 minute trip, his GPS went out. We pulled over while he restarted it. It wouldn't work, so I pulled up the gps on my phone. In trying to turn around from the street we'd pulled over on, he ran over a mail box. Then, in attempting to make a u-turn on a major highway, it became a 7 point turn. He essentially refused to follow my gps, pulling into the first hotel of the chain where I was staying---not my hotel, through. Finally, I begged him to follow my gps; he laughed and mocked me. Every street we'd come to, he'd say "turn here?", despite the clear instructions from my phone. The six teenage girls with me called it the Shuttle of Death. I'd like to think that Super Shuttle will refund me for this disastrous trip, but I'm yet to get a response from their customer service. read more

Horrible organization and service. I arrived on time, called right away and went to the spot where I was directed. I then watched three shuttles come and pick up a single passenger each and leave me standing. It took over two hours to get from the airport to my hotel. We made several stops, including one to a residential neighborhood, that added to the trip time. The driver was okay but several others, when picking up other passengers, were either rude or even unresponsive to my questions. You might save some money but will be assured of a long trip crammed into a van with nine other people. If I had to do this again, I would have taken hotel's shuttle even though it was leaving an hour later. At least I would have spent that hour in the airport rather than in a smelly van. read more

My friend and I had an AWFUL experience using Super Shuttle in Orlando!! We booked a round trip, with pick up at 1:00am on Saturday morning and drop off at 4am on Monday morning. Paid, got the confirmation, everything seemed good. A little pricey, as it was more expensive than just taking Uber but since we were arriving and leaving at weird times we wanted to secure a ride just in case. We land in Orlando on time, and head straight to the shuttle pick up area, confirming that we are ready to be picked up. They don't provide us a van number, and about 10 minutes later a car pulls up. He asks us if we are supposed to be on his ride, and we show that we still haven't been assigned a ride. He tells us that he is the last ride of the night, and that he needs to call in to add us to his ride or we won't have a ride at all. This is the only redeeming quality of this company, as this specific driver didn't leave us stranded, but it all goes downhill from there. The driver was AWFUL at driving, swerving the entire ride and getting really close to cars in front of him and not backing off. Awful to deal with for over an hour. Finally get to our airbnb, get out, fine. Well on the morning of pick up, we get a call and text an hour before pickup time notifying that they cancelled our trip FOR NO REASON. If I have already paid, I expect to get service!! If you are looking for a secure ride to or from the airport late at tonight, THIS COMPANY IS NOT FOR YOU!!! read more

Great service, friendly driver and loved that they send you a text when your flight arrives to let you know where the driver is in real time via a link that you can click on and also gives you an option to contact the driver and he called back in minutes! Recommend them and will use them again. read more
