Absolutely terrible experience at Superior Moulding. I brought back materials for a return and was told to unload everything myself -- which took time and effort -- only to be told AFTER the fact that they wouldn't accept the return because it was "past 10 days" and "might be wet." So let me get this straight: instead of checking the return eligibility first, they had me do all the labor, then denied it once everything was already offloaded. Completely unprofessional and disrespectful of customers' time and effort. If there are strict return policies, why not communicate that BEFORE making someone unload a full load of material? To make it worse, after putting me through all that, they expected me to load everything back up myself again. No accountability, no attempt to make it right, no basic customer service. I would not recommend doing business here unless you enjoy wasting your time and being treated like your effort doesn't matter. read more

We ordered windows in December 2024. Delivery was in April 2025, however there was a mistake in the size of the windows the company ordered for 5 or the 7 windows we ordered. They had to reorder we had to wait until August to get the right windows . We had to repay 5k of installation costs. The windows are of good quality (Loewen windows), however the client service needs to improve. No commercial gesture was done for the mistake made which honestly did not leave a great customer experience, especially for the time we had to wait. We were ready to give another chance and reached out in November to have the rep that served us come to our house to quote another 6 window project. No follow through on this. We even reached out through the website a week ago and no one contacted us. Overall it is extremely disappointing on the client service side and we are currently looking for another company to buy the windows from. read more

But the other day we placed an order for Moulding and for them to cut it at a specific length. They cut the first half wrong but the second half right, when I tried to explain I had asked at both the front desk and in the warehouse for it to be cut at a specific length, they insisted I had asked for it to be cut at the half which I did not, and was forced to take half of faulty product without any form of reimbursement After speaking with Jessie over the phone about the situation, he was more than understanding of the situation and have resolved the matter personally. We appreciate the attention to detail with the onsite visit from Mario and Jesse to verify all dimensions and requirements. The responsiveness, knowledge, advice, and great communication from Mario and team are appreciated. All the staff at Superior Moulding are courteous and we had great customer service experiences from the front desk and warehouse teams as well. Fine if you're a contractor or otherwise in the trade, but not if you're a homeowner (even though ultimately it's the homeowner paying the bill). Every room in my house has merchandise from Superior, but working with them directly is a pain. I've walked in multiple times over the years and never even been acknowledged, let alone offered help. Recently I placed a small order and the communication was bad. Evidently one item wasn't available at that moment in the spec I needed, so they substituted with a larger and more expensive item without telling me. I was treated very rudely when I asked why I wasn't informed about the switch, and how much more I was being charged. I probably would have waited for the correct item since I wasn't in a rush. The person I worked with claimed he told me about it on the phone, but we never talked on the phone, we only emailed, because I like to have everything in writing for obvious reasons. When I called him out he got very defensive and accusatory, even throwing in some ALL CAPS ranting. It was extremely unprofessional, and, he never even answered my simple questions like what was the upcharge. Worst of all, I think this was a manager. read more

Terrible customer service with Mark from the exterior patio door section. I called to request a quote on an exterior door and he suggested I email him. He said they had too many people that wanted quotes and I have to wait in line. I asked if I came in person if that would make a difference so I can get a quote sooner and because I didn't want to go back-and-forth on an email, but instead he was condescending and said it would be best if I had a contractor. Not sure why he would even suggest that or why that would matter other than being a girl on the phone. I was very clear that I had all the information needed for a quote but he was insistent that I email him. He proceeded to ask questions in hopes that I wouldn't have an answer like, "do you know the material? Do you know what type of door? Rough opening?" I said yes to everything but still ZERO help. He did not offer to input the information. So I don't know why he asked. I was able to easily get a quote from Home Depot, contractors warehouse, and builders firstsource without trouble and with kind customer service. Reading the reviews I find it bizarre to hear of poor customer service. I was there on a Thursday morning. No crowd. No numbers to take. A salesperson, I believe his name was Mark, approached me to ask if I needed help and from that point on walked me thru the purchase of a specific baseboard moulding to match thirty year old baseboard in my house. He could not have been more helpful - even speaking on the phone to my carpenter to help make decisions. I appreciated his help, expertise and sense of humor. Then I went to Will Call where another gentleman whose name I did not get showed me the same respect, support, attention to detail and good humor as he trimmed the pieces and helped me fit them into my car. I found both the selection and the service so impressive I felt obligated to write a review even though who has the time?! Well, I do and I'm glad I did. read more

I would give this place 5 stars based on service but I was just in there today and the stench was appalling. i've now left with a headache that will also upset it stomach and affect me the rest of the day. The chemical spray you are spraying is intolerable. My eyes were watering immediately. I still smell like this stink after 1.5 hr as it's now stuck to my clothes and hair. This is crazy you would subject staff to this as well. Chemical gram gave can cause respiratory issues, headaches, asthma attacks, cardiovascular issues as as they are endocrine disrupters that affect hormones so it can affect a female employee who is trying to wants to get pregnant at some point and can cause infertility in males. You should stop the use of this thing immediately. I'd rather smell stink BO contractors then this and it affect my health and others. read more

These guys have every type of molding you could possibly need that exists if it exists, they have it if they don't they order it and it's there for pick up the very next day I dealt with Terry personally and I can tell you 100,000percent best employee in that store he took care of me in a situation where he technically shouldn't have but he made an exception and he saved my day. We've been cross-shopping for windows for the past few months for a complete house renovation project... I found that the number of options, finishes, manufacturers is just overwhelming... not to mention requirements from actual plans. We've been working with Art G and he's been super helpful and patient with us - from time of showing us around (showroom is pretty good) to providing quotes, it's been a very good experience. Importantly, Art was able to pinpoint some potential issues with egress and a few errors in the plans that could have resulted in costly mistakes... Overall, very pleased with how we've been treated and attention to details from these guys. I don't know how their other materials compare to other shops - but as far as windows are concerned, this should be on your list of places to check out. read more

Great selections, great quality. Bad, bad, bad service. I ordered materials to finish a home remodeling project. I was very pleased that most of the items I needed were in stock & I special ordered the remainder. I paid for the entire order. My sales person told me the items would arrive in 2 - 3 days. I called on day 3, and the female that answered the phone, Teresa, could not have been nastier or more rude. She said all of the sales people were busy & someone would call me back. About 5 hours later I called back. This time she yelled at me & said customers in the showroom get priority and it was a busy day. No one got back to me that day. Next morning shortly after opening I called back & Teresa again answered the phone. I again gave my name & order # , wanting to know if the order was in. She told me everyone was busy and could not help me. She asked where I lived and told me I should drive over & speak to someone in person. This was about 7:15 am. She then said, call back in 15 minutes, maybe someone will be able to help you. I called back 15 minutes later and was able to speak with someone. He said he would need to call me back. About 5 hours later, Teresa called me to say my order was ready for pickup. This is the second time I have used this Company for remodeling projects. 5 Stars for their Great selection, best quality and the in stock conditions. Lack of good air conditioning, sour puss sales staff, especially the tall guy that looks like Kramer from Seinfeld, takes this review down to a generous 2! I was very disappointed. I order a lock . It a arrive 3 July it was not the right lock for my door. I returned it at the store without being open and they charge me 35%. restocking fee was never open and they still had it at the store. I think this was really a rip off. This is not the first time this happens to me. I purchased another lock for the same door that I'm telling you and when I took it back that did not feed my door. They charge me 35% restocking fee and the Damore 35% in the Rio door 35% altogether was $320 restocking fee, I really feel this is not right and something should be done read more

Went there about a week ago with my uncle to look at some items for a project we are working on. Was treated poorly by some old white man with brownish gray hair and goatee. He was very condescending and rude to us and seemed to rush us out of there despite the fact that it wasn't a busy day that day. I think it was due to the fact that he saw 2 Latino men and he felt some type of way due to the fact that he is white and being at an advanced age in life and he can't do the same things that he used to. I'm glad we didn't spend a penny at this place with a horrible human being and we went to a place nearby and got what we needed for a better price and better quality as opposed to the overpriced firewood that this dump sells. When the item I wanted turned out to be out of stock, not only at their own warehouse but at the distributor/manufacturer as well, Mark went the extra mile and found that they had the same molding profile in an alternate option in-stock available today. They took back the samples and told me to wait in line again to place my order after originally waiting 20 mins. Customer service is awful and would not recommend them at all. There was a very short wait for the windows, about 2 weeks, and Jose called the installer the day they arrived and they were installed that same day! I'v been shopping at Superior Moulding for 30 years. Superior Moulding is a true family business. It is owned by the Kalmans -- Bert, Rick (who also goes by Eric), and Ryan. Bert is the pillar of the community. I first learned of Superior Moulding when playing golf at a country club. Bert was on my team. I told him of a problem I was having with my walls and floor panel. He was right there to help me. They did great work. Bert is also very generous. He told me when he's gone, he wanted all his children to continue in the business and get the rewards. Superior Moulding is also always there if a problem happens with their product. A decade ago, they installed the wrong sized molding in my guest room. The Manager at the time was rude. She wouldn't even listen to my issue. I called Bert on his cell and he took care of it right away -- after he finished his round of golf of course -- but that's OK. The problem was solved. Superior Moulding is extremely successful and profitable. That's because they provide quality work at reasonable prices. Final bit of advise. If you ever have a problem with their product, call Bert the owner. He'll take care of you. Rick/Eric is also a good kid. Wholly Moulding! There is a huge selection of all sorts of styles for any type of molding you need. Great looking show room with a mind boggling amount of stuff to look through. Great place to come and pick the molding that fits your project. Prices are great. Cheaper than Home Depot/Lowes etc. What they need to work on is their customer service. I was waiting for Jose to help me in person, since we were working with him over the phone. I waited 7 minutes for him while he was on the phone talking to a customer. He seemed clearly frustrated with the questions he was receiving and was making gestures in the air with his hands indicating he was irritated, rolled his eyes and all sorts of body signals indicating his emotions. I immediately looked for the next possible person to assist me because I didn't feel comfortable working with someone that was publicly, at work, showing so much emotion/frustration with customers. I didn't want to be next on his list. Some other younger guy helped me out. Told him what I wanted, how many feet and he checked me out in a few minutes. I rolled my truck around to the back of the store, picked up my moldings and was off. They can load the molding in your car for you, but you sign a waiver that they are not responsible if it falls or you do it yourself. They offer your string to tie it down. read more

I am a Gen Contractor and have been using Superior molding for many years. The selection is vast and many common moldings are in stock. They check stock and pull your order so by the time you pay and go to the back, your order is ready to load. If they do not have a molding, they will get in 2-days (these days are difficult though supply wise). You get a call when your order arrives -Never fail! I usually work with Robert Polanco and am very happy. Terry and Matt have helped me in the past and are also wonderful. When it comes to windows, and specifically Doors: I am not sure how homeowners can handle an order without a contractor or lots of work from the salesperson at Superior molding: Jamb width, Fin setback, stucco molding, Door's handing (left/right), hardware , sloped sill for windows, etc.. My wait time is none up to 15-min, but I know that and plan for it. What separate this business apart: DELIVERY! Their people would bring down the windows or doors to your Garage or so! Nobody does that. All are "curb" delivery. Imagine I would have to send a crew (and pay them) to wait 1/2 a day for delivery just to unload in 15-min since the project have not started. read more

Everyone here is is extremely helpful. They are on top of it! They have soooo many different pieces available with tons of options......and most (if not all) are way cheaper than your local hardwarde store. Pretty large inventory too. It is pretty calm in there for the most part. Its not always crowded which is great. Parking lot in the back is great since its next to their warehouse where they have all the differeny moulding and where they cut them for you in any size you need. They are not open on Sunday though. read more

They are lucky they have such a veriety and most of it in stock when it comes to moldings otherwise they would have gotten only one star. I wont bore you with too much details but lets say the sales folks dont really know what they are talking about and either give you a wrong answer or will run to his boss who just answer something to get the liability off his back. The biggest problem is the lack of tracking of orders. Dont expect an ETA or even a date. They give no answers until it actually arrives. Terrible service. Came in one Friday to buy molding for a living room we are fixing up & they automatically told me that they currently do not have any of the styles I chose. Okay, well I chose others and same results. I ended up placing an order and they told me that they would order it and have it ready by next Friday. I understood. Left the store and came back today. Well I came to find out that they don't have my order because the factory THEY ORDER FROM HAD TO SHUT DOWN BECAUSE SOMEONE GOT INFECTED. Now I'm not being inconsiderate but a heads up would have been great. I tried getting my refund but they can not give me cash so I have to wait another week just to receive my cash payment as a check. My advice, don't give these people business they don't deserve. Superior molding is amazing, I went to look for a fire place mantle and after speaking with Steve he made the process simple. He showed me all the different types of wood. We ordered a mantle top that is really good quality wood that I will be staining and putting up personally. The best part was that the custom made mantle will be delivered in the size I need in 3 working days. Most places have a 3 to 6 week wait period which would not have worked for me. Superior Moulding is incredible. There is no reason to go anywhere else for windows, exterior/interior doors, door knobs and, of course, moulding. I'm a single family homeowner building a house for my family. This is an intimidating process and requires a lot of knowledge to get things right.
