My husband and I had to completely remodel 2 homes recently - both our primary, as well as our rental property. For anyone that has had to take on a remodel of their home (let alone 2 properties at the same time), it's absolute insanity. There are plenty of contractors and subcontractors and experts that are around, but very few that you can walk away feeling utterly impressed. After researching for flooring, tile, backsplash options to the point of pulling our hair out, someone in our personal network highly recommended Tony Jr. and his team from ADCOM. We showed up at their storefront not really expecting much difference from all of the others that we had visited -- boy, were we in for a surprise. Tony and all of the crew there at the store took us in with open arms and literally sat there answering a bajillion questions, making excellent recommendations (since we didn't know too much at the time about the differences in materials), and made us feel like we were the ONLY customers in the store. (We were not, by the way, and everyone that was in the store with us seemed impressed.) They carried out several heavy samples from the back to show us additional options and even let us take some of their actual showroom pieces. Since colors and the overall "look" of the home/lighting would be difficult to determine at the store, Tony's offer was a lifesaver. After doing plenty of research across big box stores, mom & pop retail fronts, etc. for both quality and pricing, we ended up purchasing (for both homes) all of our flooring, the backsplashes, kitchen cabinets, tiles for bathrooms and kitchen all from ADCOM. (They did all of the installation for everything in the kitchen, as well. Meticulous work and they make sure that you are completely satisfied with everything that they do.) We had a water leak and we're forced to do a complete renovation of our house. Toni is super nice however, his people were all over the place. His crew broke a very expensive wall piece, caused a water leak and more. If you have a small project Toni is your guy. Don't go with him for big jobs. Our blue kitchen island cabinets are already peeling in multiple places and the unpainted white is showing from underneath. We just got this installed in late summer. Didn't think we paid for such cheap cabinets. Underneath the kitchen cabinets were all left unfinished. While Toni promised to come and fix both issues, it never happened despite my many follow ups. I was pleased at first because he was super responsive and showed that he was interested in fixing the issues but at the end didn't deliver on his promise. read more

I have had a negative experience with this company. I initially worked with them in the past and decided to rehire them, hoping that repeat customers would receive better treatment. Unfortunately, the service was terrible. I made the mistake of paying them the total amount upfront, and I deeply regret it. The manager never showed up to the job, and they frequently canceled on the day without prior notice, causing the renovation to be delayed by a month and two weeks. This delay cost me a lot more money on top of the poor quality of work (photo attached). As a result, I had to terminate their services, and I am now pursuing legal action to recover whatever I can to fix all the terrible work they did. The father, Antonie, is letting his son, Tony, run the business without accountability, just empty promises. If you use them, please have a lawyer draw up a contract with the schedule attached and pay as you go. They need to be motivated to do a good job. That is how I did it in the past. I wish I hadn't been so trusting and done it that way. I found out there are just contractors who don't have staffing, so they don't control the worker's schedules. There's a reason why Adcom has so many stars and that is the father and son duo, Tony Sr. and Tony Jr. My mother was Adcom's client since 2001 until she passed. After my tenants moved out, I had to replace the carpet in the bedrooms. I found Tony Sr's phone number on my mother's cell phone and called him. He immediately remembered my mother. He came by after hours to measure the rooms. I then went to their showroom to pick out the carpet and that's where I met Tony Jr. It was very refreshing to meet a young man who was very respectful and professional yet very down to earth. The carpet installation was on time and done properly. Then, just as any rental becomes vacant, you see things that need to be repaired or replaced, and this time it was the kitchen countertop. Rather than replacing it with another laminate, Tony Jr gave me a very reasonable price for a granite countertop. He texted me photos of the available granite to choose from, and with that, the deal was sealed! Like the carpet, the installation was on time and done properly. Both times the workers cleaned up before leaving. The installers were all very friendly and seemed to enjoy their work. I like that, it says a lot! With a very limited budget, I was able to get quality carpet and pad, and granite counter installed that I know will last for years. There are still great people in the world, people who are professional and kind, and Toni at Adcom is one of them. Get this - I wanted some tile from a place in the Valley that Adcom didn't even carry, and I had to have it shipped to Nebraska, since there's no tile this cool in Nebraska. The company that sold the tile wouldn't ship it, so Toni brokered a logistics company, purchased the tile for me and attempted to ship it to Nebraska. The tile disappeared - neither the freight company, the tile company nor Toni knows what happened to it, and I'm now two weeks behind in my construction project. It's eventually determined to be officially 'lost', and because of the time crunch Toni re-orders the tile on his own dime before the refund for the lost tile is even in his pocket! If he doesn't have the tiles not to worry he'll find it and beat any price within reason. I purchased long plank tiles the appear like wood for the floors. Used Hexagon Emperador marble tiles for the shower floors. Arabesque white large tiles for the shower walls and kitchen back splash. From the day we walked into the showroom to the completion of our project, we have been met with professionalism, great customer service and an amazing work ethic. We needed our kitchen counters and backsplash done. We chose the granite, and the pricing was much more competitive than other places I had checked. Tony came to our home to give us an estimate. I have to say that he truly worked with us and our budget to make it happen for us proposing options that would not compromise our vision but still come in within budget. We needed a new kitchen by Christmas, and it happened. Each of the workers that contributed their handywork to our kitchen were professional, did a wonderful job and on top of that, they were kind and respectful of my 81 year old mother who lives with us. Ordered floors and were promised they'd be ready to be picked up on Friday. We were told orders take one day. Floors not there when we came on Friday afternoon. We came back again Saturday morning, our floors had still not been delivered to store. So we left several contact numbers with store employees and requested to be contacted as soon as our floors arrived later that day. Store closed on Saturday, no one called us. I just called to leave a message tonight requesting someone please call us tomorrow (Sunday) morning to give us an update as to where our floors are and how much longer they'll be delayed. I live in a rental studio and I am the first tenant. My old chihuahua had an accident when I was working a long day and warped a laminate board. I needed to replace the board and my landlord could not tell me any details about the flooring that would help me search for a box of it. I spent hours searching for it online. Doesn't have floor samples to give customers and doesn't let you take the store sample home prior to purchase just the see what it would look like in your home . complete waste of time.
